APRIL IS HERE! Which means Easter and the Lenten season has completed. This season has been one of the most REWARDING, INSIGHTFUL, PEACEFUL and even CONFUSING seasons of my life. The past 46 days have been dedicated to SELF EXPLORATION, DEFINITION, PURGING & IMPROVEMENT and Trust... I've dealt (still dealing) with ALL of them very intensively. ....
LENT, FASTING, MEDITATION, etc... are about more than just GIVING UP or SACRIFICING and DISCOMFORT OR DIETING. Its more so about ADDING TO, DOING MORE and SILENCING the FLESH and its selfish mundane and sometimes self destructive desires so that the MIND can follow, and GOD/THE UNIVERSE can show and tell whatever it is you need to realize.

Within my season, ive NEVER felt so calm amongst chaos, clear in thought and action, in tune and receiving of so much gratitude from my body, and had so much confirmation in my deepest of dreams and desires. When you completely surrender and allow God to move in your life as HE sees fit, your worries no longer exist, or at least they don't trouble you. Almost as if the answers literally fall from the freakin sky and situations handle themselves! Lol .... Even though #LENT is done... don't fall back into old ways. Not all ways and habits are conducive to a new, better, improved, more successful YOU. We know that it takes 21 DAYS to break/form a habit... and we've had 46! Make that count for SOMETHING! ....

Anyway, I’ve heard that Coconut oil, Aloe Vera, Essential Oils, Tea tree oil, Apple Cider Vinegar etc ... A lot of you ask me about my hair care routine.

Anyway, I’ve heard that Coconut oil, Aloe Vera, Essential Oils, Tea tree oil, Apple Cider Vinegar etc can do wonders to your hair.
(I think we are supposed to apply these on hair as a mask)
And for the skin, again.. I’d say take care of the diet. I swear on this man, Proper balanced diet can make your skin look and feel beautiful.

Though I’ve heard that Curd, Lemon, Honey, Coffee, Aloe Vera, Turmeric, Essential Oils, etc can do a great job!
(Apply it as a mask by diluting it with water or something.. Idk for sure though).✌🏻😉

I am not seeking adulation, or praise, I am seeking to show people the value of fitness and changing your lifestyle.

I've recently been diagnosed with type 2 diabetes. Yes it's hereditary, and runs in my family, but I really hoped it wouldn't affect me. Turns out it has, and it rung a bell for me. My goal is to mitigate the condition, if not reverse it all together. I hope I can.

I was that person eating away and not necessarily watching what I ate, "enjoying life" as they say, with little to no motivation to change. Then reality hit me, and it was time to change.

On came a completely new lifestyle. 180 degree flip on my diet. Daily exercise. Drinking LOTS of water. And, not eating late. That's it.

In the last year I've lost around 35 lbs. 25 lbs of it in the last 2 months. I've been going hard, but it feels great! I've finally hit my goal of 200 lbs, but I want to keep going! I tell people I don't think I've ever been 200 lbs, that I think I skipped over that weight lol.

Anyway, I'm not trying to preach, or be condescending, I'm just saying that if you really want to change, you can! I'm not planning on ever going back... I can't!

Many of us don't follow a plan, we don't prep, we just eat....then we start to wonder why things are changing. Sometimes we get lucky and things happen without planning but to replicate or keep those results long lasting you have to know a plan. Some of us diet for long periods of time.
We don't give our bodies a break from lower calorie bouts or even eating too much. Both of these wreak havoc on the body and both can be detrimental long term.
BALANCE is the key to finding that happy medium to sustain a healthy body. So how does one achieve balance? Personally I have to plan my week out. I figure out what meals work best for my schedule and factor in possible social events. I also take into account that Im usually the only one really prepping or watching what I eat so I make things that I will eat but can be made into many other options. I count macros and I allow myself some freedom from time to time.
A perfect example of a meal made for my plan but can be made into something else is salsa chicken in the crockpot. I made this with about 2 pounds of Chicken breasts and a jar of salsa. I use the chicken as a protein on the go with my Opti-greens 50 so I can eat and drive, the rest of the chicken was made into enchiladas for the fam.
Adding Opti-greens 50 into my diet daily has been a real game changer in my gut health. Each serving has probiotics, superfoods, and digestive enzymes that have helped boost my energy levels and digest food better, not to mention regularity!

Now I am a much healthier person w/ a very clean diet, daily cardio, cutting out alcohol/sodas and educating myself some more about fitness. I am now proud to say I am 22lbs down and have lost 2 3/4 inches off my waist. I might not be as muscular/bulky as I used to be I am a much healthier version of myself. This isn't to brag about myself, it's to hopefully motivate/encourage those who are struggling with their body to remember to never give up and be consistent w/ their work. You will miss out on some fun nights with the friends, you might become distant but it's only because you're working on bettering yourself and true friends will understand it and not take it personal.
