Here we go
1️⃣ 30 second incline side squat step each side, 15-30 second rest
2️⃣ 30 second incline squat walk forward then back, rest
3️⃣ 30 second incline side step with a hop each side, rest
4️⃣ 39 second incline grapevine each side, rest
5️⃣ 30 second sprint!
My incline is at the highest the treadmill will go... 15%. As for speed, start slow! Build to speed you feel comfortable at. Repeat if you’re up for it 🤗💛 happy happy Sunday!

I am currently doing 6 days of cardio per week Mon-Saturday 30 minutes taking Sunday completely off to rest. -
Monday - Steady treadmill incline 4.0-15.0 2.8-3.5 pace. Increasing incline 1.0 per minute working my way up to 15.0 and back down. -

Tuesday - 30 minutes of treadmill intervals. 60 second intervals, each at 3.2 & 9.6.

Wednesday - Cycle intervals 60 seconds all out and 60 second steady. -

Thursday- 30 minutes of treadmill intervals. 60 second intervals, each at 3.2 & 9.6.

Friday- Steady treadmill incline 4.0-15.0 2.8-3.5 pace. Increasing incline 1.0 per minute working my way up to 15.0 and back down. -

Cable crossovers 15 reps NOT to failure to get warmed up.
Immediately followed by cable curls for 15 reps. - take a 30 second to one minute breather and repeat for sets of 12,10,8, and 6 making it heavier each time if possible. Try to fail out on the last couple of sets once you are warm and pumped up!

Second giant set:
Dumbbell chest press 12 reps
Immediately followed by forward leaning curls (engage those traps!) 12 reps.
Take a 30 second to 1 minute breather and repeat for sets of 10,8, and 6.

Third giant set
Peck Deck Fly (I do these standing to take away momentum) 12,10,8,6
Iso Holding Curls 6-10 each side for 4 sets.

Finish with a few burnout sets! I did mine with the @flexdiscfit but you can do anything. Push-ups, dips, flys l, etc for 4 sets to failure with 39 seconds between each set! Use good form!

Here is a simple breath-control sequence, which can really boost your energy and internal health. For the best results breathe as little as you comfortable can but if you need to then take extra breaths where ever you need to. For this practice keep as relaxed as you can especially in the abdomen as I am doing here in this photo of me balancing on one arm.

. -Warm up with bosu ball plank crunches 3 sets of 15
supersetted with able external rotation for the rotator cuff 3x15 super setted with y raises with a light band 3x15

• Incline dumbbell - make sure BAck is flat on the bench. Try not to have your elbows too high because it engages too much front delt 4 sets 12 10 8 6

• smith machine banded flat bench. Take a 2 bands and attach them to the bar and anchor it to the smith - focus focus focus on tucking scapula and digging elbows into your side then keep your feet up to keep core engaged. Any back arcing on chest takes away from your chest contraction. 4 sets 15 12 10 8 .

• Banded incline hammer strength. Band where you would load the weight then anchor it to the machine. Focus on tucking the scap and keeping your elbows in to blast into the contraction. Then follow it back down for a 2-3 second negative 4 sets of 15 12 12 10

• Get ankle straps put them on your wrists attach yourself to the cables and perform flies. Tuck your scap back and focus on clapping your hands - can use multiple angles stick around 12-15 reps .

• Hammer strength wide chest uni lateral.

. • Dumbbell pullovers - start light - bring up glutes don't hang them - don't come into lower back extension you must be like a plank- squeeZe and engage core. Press the dumbbell up with your chest then retract scaps while resting your head back. Internally rotate elbows and slowly bring the dumbbell back to the resistance your making by squeezing your core, then come back up.

• Machine dips moderate weight. Chest up, core tight and you want to keep your elbows tucked in. Don't go too far up on the positive or you will Aggravate your shoulders 4 sets 15-20 reps

• Dumbbell kick backs 2-4 second hold. Do not open up hips, keep them square. Raise your elbow back , chest up, scap flush - then cable press downs!

We’re long distance and rarely get that much time together, so I savored every moment and stayed off of social media for the most part. I flew to Boston, we hung out in New Hampshire for a day, we went up to the Adirondacks ... I’ve been a bit MIA recently, due to spending a month with my sweet @mbalaguer. We’re long distance and rarely get that much time together, so I savored every moment and stayed off of social media for the most part. I flew to Boston, we hung out in New Hampshire for a day, we went up to the Adirondacks for the weekend, we drove to Michigan, flew to Colorado and then back to Michigan, and drove to DC. Its been a pretty hectic month, but I’m so lucky to have the ability to travel and help bae move.
Now I’m home for a week and a half and getting some semblance of a schedule back. Life is good and simple! Attending to clients, my very needy kitty, and training at altitude (RIP to my cardiovascular system). .
Boring little check in, but I’m not someone who can poop inspiration 24/7 🤷🏼‍♀️ Anyway, here’s the leg workout I did today:

1. Hamstring curls 15-12-10-8 (increase weight after each set. 30 second rest period)

2. Leg press: 3x15 at same weight, 2x10 with increased weight, 2x8 with increased weight, 2x10 with slightly decreased weight, 1x15 with decreased weight followed by 10 partial reps (I was seeing stars lmao)

3. Cable pull throughs with 2 second squeeze at top: 15-12-10: increase weight after each set
4. 15-15-15-12-10: increase weight after each set. .

Squats, leg presses, hack squats are all movements to put on the size! This is the kind of shit that puts in the feathering and detail. Think of this like flexing your arm into a ball over and over building that shape, that's what we're doing here, but to the quads! You don't wanna add JUST size. Detail and separation is key in completing the look of any muscle!

Nowhere in all the extensive rules of Scotchy-Scotch-Scotch does it specify where a whisky must be actually aged (other than in Scotchyland, of course). Many distilleries will age their barrels far and away from the distillery for various reasons not important to our story. Sometimes barrels are even stored at other distilleries to limit loses in cases of disaster (hint, hint, Bardstown). Nest that nugget of knowledge in your noggin.

Important fact the second: single malt distilleries exist for the sole purpose of providing whisky to blenders. You heard me. Vast quantities of distilled single malt get sold off the second it leaves the still to live a life completely different then the chosen drops sequestered for single malt glory.

Back to our story: Macallan is sitting on, or more accurately NOT sitting on a looming whisky shortage. Age statements are dropping like flies at a Bad News Bears baseball game, yet Macallan releases a Fine Oak series of aged whisky amid this crisis—using ex-bourbon barrel aged whisky! Blasphemy! Since their founding in 1824, it has only been sherry cask!!! Did some mad scientist 15 years ago know about the shortages to come and inexplicably decide ex-bourbon aging was the answer? Hahahahahaha! Silly rabbit.

Remember the two knowledge nuggets? Where a whisky is aged is irrelevant, and most single malt distillate gets sold off. Enter Macallan in crisis, but commanding premium prices on the market. They open the ledgers, find out who they sold their whisky to, and buy it back. Poof! Instant 15-year Macallan. Of course the blenders did not use sherry casks, but rather ex-bourbon to age their once and future Macallan. So is born the Fine Oak expression.

But then again the handstand pushup requires EVERYTHING tense and controlled to get it done.

I see pullups performed as if the circus was in town, waiting to see a shoulder dislocate.

Goodluck not busting your face when you decide to flop around in the handstand position.
Progress from, shoulder pushaways, to shoulder wall walk ups, to regular vertical holds at 60 seconds, to bodyweight pike presses with 1-3 second tension pause reps at the bottom for high reps 15+, to finally working the handstand movement through variations.

Work the core beforehand for better stability as well!

My new old camera, the very-rare Certo Super-Sport Dolly c. 1938 with early Schneider-Kreuznach 5 element Xenar f/2.8 Anastigmatic lens. The majority of lenses prior to WWII were 3-4 element f/3.5 lenses, f2.8 on medium format at that time was like a Noctilux in 35mm. Carl Zeiss Jena and ... My new old camera, the very-rare Certo Super-Sport Dolly c. 1938 with early Schneider-Kreuznach 5 element Xenar f/2.8 Anastigmatic lens. The majority of lenses prior to WWII were 3-4 element f/3.5 lenses, f2.8 on medium format at that time was like a Noctilux in 35mm. Carl Zeiss Jena and Oberkochen didn’t develop their five element Biometar/Planar f/2.8 for the medium format until after the end of the war. The Schneider Xenar on this camera is the equivalent of the early 15 blade Xenar I have for my Contax D camera.  The lens is set in a Compur Rapid delayed action shutter by Freidrich Deckel, with rim settings for speeds from 1 second to 1/400 second, with finger and cable release options. The two-session workshop will begin with ceramic making with Ayu Larasati, who will guide you to create a matcha tea set (consisting of a bowl and a shallow dish to rest your bamboo whisk) for matcha tea drinking ritual. Afterwards, the team from Saint Matcha will provide an introduction to the matcha tea ceremony, where participants will learn how to prepare your matcha as well as learn more on the drink’s brief history and its benefits. As a follow up on the workshop, your ceramic creation will be delivered in two weeks time.

Plensa explores dualism with Crown Fountain, where he has two randomly selected faces "conversing" with each other. Plensa feels that by using faces, he can represent the diversity of the city both in ethnicity and in age.The artist intends to portray the sociocultural evolution of the city by updating the collection of images.

Each face appears on the sculpture for a total of 5 minutes using various parts of individual 80-second videos. A 40-second section is played at one-third speed forward and backward, running for a total of 4 minutes. Then, there is a subsequent segment, where the mouth is puckering, that is stretched to 15 seconds. This is followed by a section, in which the water appears to spout from the open mouth, that is stretched to last for 30 seconds. Finally, there is a smile after the completion of the water spouting from the mouth, that is slowed to extend for 15 seconds.

The first version Michael Dixon Jr. gave police was that he heard a gunshot and then saw 15-year-old Chance had been shot and tried to administer CPR to him, the warrant states. In the second version, Dixon claimed Chance, who Dixon told police was his friend, was shot accidentally. A social media post from an account police said belonged to Dixon, though, states he killed Chance "over jealousy," according to the warrant.
Chance was killed inside a home in the 3900 block of Sullen Place in Algiers, NOPD said. Chance's mother said he was less than two weeks into his freshman year at McMain, enjoyed designing clothes and was considering trying out for the football team. NOPD Superintendent Michael Harrison on Thursday announced the arrest of Dixon in the case, adding information police initially received at the scene did not match up with evidence.

The warrant for Dixon's arrest states he tested positive for a gunshot residue test. It also says one of two Instagram accounts detectives believe belonged to Dixon contained the message, "I killed my 15 year old friend over jealousy @mmikemitch killed chance," under a profile picture that showed Dixon. The warrant indicates @mmikemitch was a second account belonging to Dixon. Dixon denied the account displaying the message was his, the warrant states, and the @mmikemitch account was deleted.

The bullet trajectory also did not match up with Dixon's story that Chance was shot when a gun on a chair Dixon was sitting in accidentally fired, the warrant states. Despite an initial statement by Dixon that Chance was shot outside, the detective wrote, a search of a house in the block showed evidence of "a crime scene" inside. A semiautomatic handgun was found in a dresser drawer, the warrant also states, and two additional semiautomatic handguns were found outside a bedroom window.

This is an in-camera Double Exposure of the Super Moon and an old Barn that has a little bit of Lightpainting added using an RL-85 Spotlight (5 million candles) made by Larson Electronics.
It was a COLD night along the Front Range of the Rockies for the 2018 Super Moon event.
FIRST Exposure: Super Moon at 5:15 AM ISO500, 1/1000 at f8, NIKKOR 200-500mm f5.6 lens (at 500mm)
I had previously “envisioned” the picture a few days early while making my customary “site survey” to estimate where and when the moon would set, where the camera would be and where I would Lightpaint from ... a day-time “dry-run” so to speak.
With the Super Moon setting along the Front Range slightly north from the Barn I purposely composed the scene with the moon placed in the frame so it would be above Longs Peak after making the Second Exposure.
SECOND Exposure: Barn at 5:45 AM ISO1600, 1/80 at f8, (340mm) I realigned the camera and carefully composed the scene at 340mm to keep the Barn with Longs Peak in the background just below where I had placed the Super Moon in the first exposure.
I waited until the pre-dawn sunrise lifted the ambient light, then fine-tuned my composition, locked-focus on the Barn and made the Second Exposure ... about 5:45 AM.
Lightpainting: During the Second Exposure I wanted to add a small shaft of Lightpainting on the Barn. This would require me to be standing off-camera 60 ft. left of the Barn and about 100 yards away from the camera. I used a PocketWizard Multi MAX to trigger the Nikon D850 Remotely.
The shutter speed of 1/80 didn’t offer enough time to be “painterly” with Lightpainting, so I made a concentrated shaft of Light across the roof corner, far wall and window. It was just enough light to make a distinct difference and I think added a unique quality to the final double exposure image. @nikonusa

First kilometre is not so hard, crossing beside shopping malls and residential buildings, but it helps to warm up for the second km which is one of the hardest, with an average slope of 12%. After this second kilometre the city is left behind and the slope keeps burning your legs. This is definitely the hardest part of the climb, fighting inclines between 15% and 16%. There is a very narrow bend called El Guayabo, it’s so hard that you might not be able to stay on the saddle.
After approximately 5 km, we find the only part of the climb that offers a “rest”, a whole kilometre between 5%-6% which feels like if it was flat terrain. It's a good moment to eat something and drink some water. At this point, you will probably realize how hard the climb is, with a lot of suffering and sweating, knowing that you are barely in the middle of the climb.
With 4.6 kilometres remaining, you will face a road fork, indicating a road that goes up and one that goes down. This part is really enjoyable due to the great atmosphere of tropical forests and small waterfalls, but really hard as well with an initial ramp of 15%.
The last 3 kilometres offers an average slope of 11% with challenging ramps at 16%, you will be riding through a narrow road with nice views of green mountains and fresh air.
Last kilometre is still hard with an average slope of 7%, but the motivation to reach the top of the summit and the nice smell of the tropical forest, helps you feel stronger. Once you get to the top, around 2.519 m.a.s.l., you will have overcome one of the five hardest climbs in the region of Antioquia.

What you need: Springform pan, 2 cups raw nuts (I chose almonds & hazelnuts) 2 cups pitted dates, 6 overripe bananas, 1 cup fresh or frozen mango, 1 cup fresh or frozen strawberries, 1 lime, 2 tsp. matcha powder.

Mix nuts & dates in food processor and pack & press evenly into bottom of pan. Puree 2 bananas and mango, pour into pan & freeze for 15 minutes. Add second layer of bananas & strawberries & freeze another 15 minutes. Top with final layer of bananas, matcha powder, 1 tbsp fresh lime juice, 1 tsp lime zest & let freeze for 1 to 2 hours. .

NOTE: This tastes better closer to room temp so I let it sit out for 10 or 15 minutes before cutting and wait another few minutes before serving. I topped mine with freshly dehydrated strawberries. You can play around with the type of nuts you use in the crust as well as the different fruits you mix with the bananas. .

Now to this delicious combo I highly recommend you make yourself!
•Slice a banana in half length-wise and caramelize in a hot cast iron pan with coconut oil.
•In a small bowl melt Hu Hazelnut Butter Dark Chocolate, a couple squares or a whole bar if making a few in 15-30 second intervals stirring in between. Add a tiny bit of coconut oil if needed but it melts nice and smooth. Add 1/2 TBSP if melting a whole bar and you don't want it to harden.
•Put caramelized banana a plate and top with a big scoop of dairy free vanilla ice cream.
•Sprinkle with graham cracker pieces, mini marshmallows (toasted optional), drizzled Hu Hazelnut Butter Dark Chocolate, and optional chopped Hu Crunchy Banana Dark Chocolate and square on top!

1.) DB Standing Lateral Raises. I mix up my routine a lot with these but here lately have been doing rest pulses with them and holy 🔥. Try this grab a weight that is challenging but something you can get about 15-20 reps with. First set get 15-20 reps, rest for 15 seconds, second set go until failure, rest 15 seconds. Repeat this for 5 sets total. 😭

2.)Standing Barbell Press. (I like to wear my belt with these for better core support) Hand grip will be a little bit wider than your shoulders. Bringing the bar down to your chest each rep and pushing all the way up. 10 HEAVY reps. Rest 45-60 secs repeat 4x.

3.)Straight Bar Cable Upright Rows. Hand grip again wider than shoulders. Stand up the whole time do not slouch. Keep elbows above hands and pull bar up to chest. Reps until failure (aim for 15-20 reps), rest 45-60 secs, repeat for a total of 4 sets.

4.) Seated DB Front Raises. Back up against a seat the whole time with these. I like to start with my DB’s in a hammer style position and twist at the top for the best contraction. Never bringing hands higher than eye level. Preform rest pause on these just like the DB lateral raises listed above.

5.) Cable Lateral Raises. (Single Arm, using a handle.) the cable will be on the bottom of the pulley allow your hand to come in front of your body and pull across to perform the lateral raise. You should only be pulling with your shoulder if you are swinging too much drop the weight. 10-15 reps, switch arms 10-15 reps. Rest 10-15 secs, repeat for a total of 3 sets.

👉🏻I went a bit crazy different with my shoulders workout this week as I just wanted to switch things up (at least with my shoulder press I switched it up). -
👉🏻Standing dumbbell shoulder press (stagger step) - 35 lbs for 20 reps, - 40 lbs for 18 reps, - 45 lbs for 15 reps, - 50 lbs for 12 reps, - 55 lbs for 10 reps, 60 lbs for 8 reps, - 65 lbs for 6 reps, - 70 lbs for 4 reps, - 75 lbs for 2 reps. 30-60 seconds between sets. (This was intense). -
👉🏻Next I did a super set of seated dumbbell rear delt flys and standing dumbbell front raises. 3 sets of 15 (30 second break between super sets). Then I did 3 sets of 15 for dumbbell side raises. -
👉🏻I wrapped it up on the cable machine with 3 sets of 15 on a tri set. Bent over rear delt flyes, straight into side raises, then right into front raises. As I said above, all of this was done on the cable machine and each exercise in the tri set was 3 sets of 15 with essentially no break between exercises. Take a 30 second break between tri sets. This had me sweating bullets. 😰💪🏻

Perform each exercise right after the other with a 15-30 second rest if you absolutely need to (listen to your body!) after you complete the circuit take a 1 min rest and drink some water.

Circuit: x 4
Burpees x 10
Toe touches x 10-20
Jump Squats x 15
Push Ups x 10
Alternating Jumping Lunges x 10-12
Leg raises 15-20

Ready set get to sweating!

Static muscle activation is important during the initial phase of recovery following muscle injury. Isometric exercises are simple to do, effective and can easily be performed at home as they require minimal equipment. In the examples shown, all you need is a rope or belt (do not use a resistance band or anything that is stretchy). Progressively load the tissue by starting with 15-20 second holds for 5 repetitions — gradually progress the duration, working up to 60 second holds.

1. Isometric Hamstring - laying on your stomach, bend the knee as shown and apply a static force in the direction shown by the arrow.

2. Isometric Hip Flexor - perform a bridge, raise one leg with the rope looped over your foot, and bring the knee towards your chest as shown. If it is too difficult to do this combined with a bridge, perform the exercise without the hip raise to start.

3. Adductor - similar to the hip flexor exercise, perform a bridge while applying a medial force as shown by the arrow. This exercise tends to be the most challenging of the three — so not to worry if the sustained hold is shorter than the others!

Battlefield V's second free DLC expansion is almost here. Developer DICE is rolling out the first wave of Chapter 2: Lightning Strikes on PS4, Xbox One, and PC this Tuesday, January 15, bringing new modes, weapons, and other content to the World War II shooter.

First, the update will introduce Squad Conquest, which DICE describes as "an intense version of Conquest that enables more tactical gameplay." In this mode, two teams of eight players--each of which is further divided up into two four-person squads--can do battle on "smaller, more tactical" versions of the Arras, Rotterdam, and Hamada maps.

On top of that, DICE is adding four new weapons to the game. These can be unlocked by completing Weekly Challenges in January and February. The four weapons are as follows:

Finally, DICE is implementing a handful of improvements to Time to Death and Death Experience in this week's update. Among other things, the developer has added a camera that zooms in on and follows players who have killed you. You can find the full patch notes for the update on the Battlefield website.
