I just didnt care to 2. I figure it was going to be time consuming and who has time for that 3. I didnt want macros to “tell me” that I cant have cake! ....surprisingly I am eating a lot more carbs than I thought I would and still able to fit in a sweet treat here and there. Working with @steficohen has help me remain accountable! Often when an athlete isn’t training for something particular, there is space for things like nutrition to get out of order. As someone who like order I felt taking a stab at macro counting and having a non-bodybuilder meal plan was something I needed to try! Stephi had to crack a whip on me the first two weeks of March, but now we are seeing some good progress with keeping the muscle and shedding the “fluff”. Not sure if I will count macros forever, because I am learning which foods fit within a certain macro range, but so far this has been a great learning experience! We shall see what another 4 weeks does and we get closer to Swimsuits every day season! ——
