I know that to get there i've got to serve others.

The importance of giving is something you can NEVER FORGET. And I don't plan on it anytime soon.

Many of you have had conversations with me and my first response is "How can I serve your goals". That's Genuine.

But as I sit here amidst a hustle session to get tasks, and objectives for the week, plan out the 5+ online courses im taking, schedule training, and get caught up on all kinds of stuff im behind on i'm reminded of something I wanted to share with you.

But in reality you are focused on making sure that though you are out to give. You are out to serve. And you are doing so because you care there is something else you have to do.

Ok, Monday is about to end, you didnt get sh*t done you planned to....SO WHAT.

Tomorrow you got a chance to do it all over again. You can give of yoursel but at the same time. Still work toward your goals by ensuring you invest back in yourself and serve your short and long term goals.

I hope this one touches some of you and helps you to stay the course. Don't feel bad about growing yourself. It doesn't make you selfish.

But with Cables you have tension pulling on the muscles on the way up and on the way down to fatigue the muscle that much more effectively. First Push session of the week is mostly Chest work with Dumbbell work for Shoulders towards the end. But today’s Push session was mainly focus on Shoulders. Hitting the shoulders with Dumbbells and Cables. Main point I’d like to empathize is to perfect your form. If the weight is light but form is spot on and you fatigue within your desired rep range, your doing it right. If you’re moving massive weight while losing control of your body and using momentum to get the weight up, you’re doing it wrong. Remember small muscle groups don’t require a lot of weight that will cause you to sacrifice your form. But if you can move the heavy weight correctly then keep doing what you’re doing and progressively overload each session or every week. The gainz will have no choice but to show up on your body as long as you consistently train and stick to your diet!!! 💪🏽😎💯

The body can only compensate so much. Then you end up saying, “IDK why my knee hurts all of a sudden.”

Well it’s been coming for a while...it’s just your body now refuses to compensate... so it forces you to STOP or FIX the PROBLEM the only way it can. With pain.

Here’s another great lift for development the entire back:
-
➡️Start with your feet about hip with apart
➡️ your hips even with or below your shoulders depending on your levers
➡️ Brace your midline and retract your shoulder blades DOWN and BACK
➡️ Pull the bar to bottom of your chest (pause when possible)
➡️Lower the weight in a controlled manner
➡️ Allow the bar to come to a full rest at the ground while still MAINTAINING tension through your entire body
➡️ Inhale before pulling & exhale upon lowering

Doing bodyweight exercises is very good and beneficial in not becoming a fat shit or being infected by "Big lats" syndrome. So yea for my bodyweight excercise, I chose to swtch it up from regular pull ups to muscle ups (P.s. worst idea ever).

I was about 55kg back then, and last night I finally got to my target of 65kg🙌 that's 10kg in just under 6 months, which is probably nothing to some people, but to me, putting on weight has always been pretty much impossible, so I am so proud of myself😁 it's been difficult, there's been blood, sweat, tears and even vomit🙊 but I finally got there💪 It's shit when everyone around you is trying to lose weight and I'm just here trying my hardest to put on any weight at all. And I am so happy about the fact that I actually have a butt now🍑

👉🏼 Retract your shoulder blades back, this will puff your chest out and keep the shoulders safe
👉🏼 Press the handles out and start extending your arms till they are straight but making sure you don't lock them out
👉🏼 Slowly go back to the starting position under control and feel the stretch on your chest at the end and repeat

Each 20 seconds pushing it after the first couple of times felt like the longest 20 seconds of my life.. at the last one my legs gave out, I had no idea how much time was left, he shows me the clock I'm on my last one, I get up and push that thing till the end.
Mind over matter, telling ourselves I can instead of I can't.
The 5 minute sled push was after a series of squats, lunges, and I forget what else, but a few other things, I'm definitely feeling it today and boy was it worth it.

I faced some setbacks towards the end of 2017 both relationship wise and career wise. I started working out more seriously to distract myself. At the time, to me it was just a little fun challenge/experiment. I never thought I would enjoy the process like I do now. When I workout I can see and feel my results. There's no question whether the work and time I'm putting in is worth it or not. Just that feeling of 'certainty', when so many things felt uncertain, became my fix.

If you had said at 21 I'd be divorced and totally alone, I'd have gasped at the thought. But that is exactly what happened. I didn't end up alone because I was overweight, I left because he told me to stop working out. I didnt end up sick because I ate very badly nor did I end up overweight because I ate too much. I ended up over weight because of other factors outside of my control. But what could I control?

I could control how active I was. I could control the amount I put in my belly. While I might not have been eating junk food I was also not a picture of health. I could control how much I cared for myself. And as you see I have managed to do just that. I've lost roughly 185lbs and in doing this I see that some things were not in my control. Other things were. Don't let the things You cant control, control you. Love yourself enough to get up every day and change what you can control. The rest will follow suit. You're worth it. Endless amount of reps and sets because that’s what your fitness magazine told you? You’re not seeing any change so you up your cardio, add another set and eat less. 🔸
Here’s the thing... those people/fitness models that you are admiring... they aren’t doing what you think they’re doing. They are restricting their food consumption. Adding 50 additional reps to their working set. They show up and are putting in the work. 🔸
If you want to build a physique that you are proud of you are going to have to work hard in and out of the gym. You are going to move those weights that intimidate you. You are going to have to dig deep. You’re going to have to deal with the muscle soreness and other aches. 🔸
Guess what? You’ll love it. Because that’s when you will see improvement. Those hardships will be part of the game. You will eventually look forward to your “therapy” session because you know at the end of that gym session you walk out a little bit stronger, physically and mentally. It gets you closer to your goal. 🔸
End result: don’t be afraid to move those weights that intimidate you. Don’t be afraid to sweat. Lift heavier than you are. This week I challenge you to try a new exercise in the gym. AND pick up a heavier dumbbell or plate. Anders blev i januar opereret for 1 tumor i hjernen, fjernet 2 tumor medicinsk, vejede 132kg og var ligeglad med han stoppede i hovedet.
I kan se hans tilstand i videoen, Anders kunne knap gå, var svag og som han sagde til mig " Var sgu tæt på ta billetten.
Anders fik i starten af marts en diskusprolaps imellem L2 og L3 da ha var på vej til at genoptræne sig selv fra operationen.
Jeg blev ringet op at en fælles ven af Anders og jeg, som sagde " Søren vi er nød til at gøre noget for Anders vil ikke fyldes med det lort de gir ham medicinsk" han skal have bygget noget muskelmasse så han kan stå imod sygdommen - det skal sige at Anders stadig har 2 tumor i hjerne, så nogen dage er bedre end andre.
Anders kom ud til @malelar og fik fixed den prolaps, som behandler forgæves havde forsøgt at afhjælpe og jeg og Anders fik sammensat kosten og en træningsprogram som kunne supplere hans CrossFit. På 3 måneder er han fået fra 85 kg Pr i squat til 10 reps på 110-115 kg😎
Anders er i mine øjne et eksempel på hvad den menneskelig krop er i stand til, hvis man har noget at kæmpe for.
De 3 første billeder er fra januar og de 3 sidste er fra nu.... Jeg lader resten tale for sig selv.. Anders fortjener alt den credit i hele verden, for har aldrig mødt en fighter som ham 🙏♥️.

What the fuck is that about, right? Well, the biggest reason is this:

𝗧𝗛𝗘𝗬 𝗚𝗢𝗧 𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗚𝗢𝗔𝗟 𝗪𝗜𝗧𝗛𝗢𝗨𝗧 𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗣𝗥𝗢𝗖𝗘𝗦𝗦.

Let's imagine for a second that one day a magic genie appears out of nowhere and says, "Hey fuckface, I'm going to grant you your wish of having the body of your dreams."

Lo' and behold, the next day you wake up and, true to his word, the genie has given you the body you always wanted.

But as the days turn into weeks turn into months you notice something odd happening: you're slowly reverting back to your former self.
"What the fuck is going?"

As if on cue, the genie reappears and explains that "LOL, you never learned how to maintain your new body so, well, you're losing it. Sucks to be you. Anyway, I have to go now. Bye."

Just like the lottery winners got the goal without the process, in this fictitious story you got the body without the process. Just like the lottery winners never learned how to save, invest, and manage their new paycheck: you never learned the things required to maintain your new physique.

Which is why the process is far more important than the end goal because it's not about getting the body you want but the person you become.

To say they’ve made me emotional, would be my understatement of the year! On the left, not only is the quality of the PICTURE bad, but so was my quality of LIFE! I was unhappy, I drank a lot, I ate all kinds of rubbish at all times of the night/morning, and was just mentally screwed up! 😭

💔 I could say so so soooo much more about what this transformation means to me, as it’s even more than just physical. My mind is more open, my heart is free, I don’t accept failure or negative energy/people around me. I have stopped drinking so often, as there’s no pain to mask... There’s no life to run from... There’s just growth, and so much more to gain! If you got to the end of this, just know that your current situation is NOT YOUR FINAL DESTINATION!!!! Try something new, you might love it!!! My back was sore from heavy squats. I can’t have that!!! Therefore we are going back to pulling Conventionals because of how much work the lower back gets and I truly enjoy this variation more that Sumos. Some people say Sumos is easier because you shorten the range of motion with the wide stance but they are tougher to executed than Conventionals. But at the end of the day I need to do exercises that will benefit my fitness goals in the long term as oppose to short term. I didn’t want to push my body too hard today being that I haven’t done this style of deadlifts consistently in a while. So I’m quite happy to be able to pull more weight than I’ve ever done with Sumos. Now it’s time to progressively overload with this movement for the next 12 weeks and hopefully I can hit that 585lbs before the year comes to an end!!! 💪🏽😎💯

💛I began in my bedroom alone. I ran in front of my fan. I had 20lb weights I lifted. I lost 20 pounds without telling anyone. I weighed 365 when I stepped in a gym for the first time in my life. I joined a group gym full of supportive women. I left that gym to pursue body building at 220 pounds. I hit 185 approximately 6 months ago. Now I'm going to hire a trainer and chase my body building goals even harder. I have loose skin and a bit of fat. But I hope to have the excess skin removed in 6 months. I'll document that here on my Instagram.

I see it all the time even when you become an adult. You hate going to work at 9am but end up working a 9 to 5 job for 30-40 years. It’s because it’s apart of your routine. Something that your body and mind has adapted to. When I go to the gym and I tell people all the things I do, their immediate reaction is surprise that I’m able to make it to the gym every single day while they struggle to get themselves to the gym. I’ve found the routine that works for me which in turn has translated into a disciple that is hard to break. I’m not the smartest, not the most talented and not the most gifted. But what I do have is a solid routine that I continuously execute day after day that helps me get the things I want to get done. Find your routine and the discipline will come as well!!! 💪🏽😎🙏🏽

What I respect a lot are the ones that are willing to invest in someone to guide and motivate them. Never ever compare yourself to anyone in the gym compare yourself to the person you were yesterday; the decisions you made and are currently making. Believe in yourself because I’m a firm believer in the process.

I started out wanting to lose 40 lbs and in the end, I lost a total of 100 lbs!!! I never thought it was possible but it’s true what they say “Hard work pays off!!” You see, all my life I wanted to be fit and I tried getting fit over and over again using all kinds of fad diets and quick fixes, but nothing worked—not for the long haul anyway. The weight always seemed to find its way back, and now, after a having a baby it felt like it was impossible! Again, I tried fad diets and fell into the trap of every fitness infomercial until one day I finally faced the music and accepted the fact that there just was no way around it except through that dreadful thing we call EXERCISE! Yes having a kid is hard on your body, yes it is harder to find time/energy/motivation but if it is a priority you will do it and not use it as a excuse.

I have always been a active person and have a healthy lifestyle. I trained before, during and after having bubs because I wanted to and it makes me happy. .
I had the hardest year of my life last year and used fitness as my outlet to escape my own mind for awhile. It is amazing how much physical health is linked to mental. .
I have a long way till I am where I want to be however I think it is important to be happy where you are while trying to get to your end goal.

To answer some Q's I get sent here is some points:
1- create a balance between work/health and personal or you will go crazy.
2-it's not going to happen overnight
3-your home is also a gym
4-I do 40 squats before every shower
5-make use of your child's sleep time to be active
6-find a friend in the same mindset to train with.
7-MUSIC! .
A lot of people say uploading a progress pic is vain. I think if you have worked hard at something positive in your life that makes you happy then damn straight you should showcase your efforts. .

Don't lose motivation. Don't lose hope. Results come slowly when it comes to fitness. Sometimes... Very slow. I've been back in the gym for a full month. And I'm down 4 lbs. current weight is 171.0

Trust me. I wish in a month I'll lose 20 lbs. but I understand that for my body to build/keep as much muscle as possible, that is not possible.
Don't give up. And for the people that are talking shit and not supporting you, just throw up the middle finger and tell them to fuk off.
I remember when I first started lifting and carrying meals with me everywhere people would laugh. I was 100 lbs soak and wet, scrawny. Then once I got to my goals the same people asked me how I did it. It's funny. Some will talk shit and not believe because it's something they can't achieve.  But they can. "If the mind can conceive it, you will achieve it." So stay focused. We can do this! You and me both. I'm just hoping my back hold up through this journey.
We got this! Own our future! 
We will determine how we look this summer!

Either we are going to avoid the water and sun this summer or we are going to jump in that shit and show what hard work can do.

Most of the people who are stressing over the best training program, meal timing, supplements, rest times, the scale, their 1rm, etc. are beginners trying to major in the minors. •
Instead just do this:
-eat an appropriate amount of calories
-consume enough protein (.8-1g/lb is fine)
-train hard but smart
-get enough sleep
-eat vegetables
-drink water
-do all of the above with consistency

Learn to love this lifestyle not resent it.
