Rain falls like god's own poetry, each drop is a single letter in a song that only the one's who love rains can understand. It has always been music whenever the rain falls from the grey clouds it falls in crazy chaotic drops along with the gusty winds sometimes and the melody of it brings serenity no matter the chaos in my life. How beautiful the world looks on days like this, the grey sky I mean everything in shades of grey or maybe black and white and different shades in between and that "in between" is a place that I love❤I love the rains i love to sleep and wake up to the sound of rains, I love the grayness of the sky. Some people may call it a bad weather but I think it's so beautiful when it pours, you see a different side of the world and maybe only babies born in rainy season love rains a little more.🙈
P.S - Also it was raining heavily as I was writing this and pouring out my love for rains.😂☔😍😘 #instapost #instalove #igers #iphonesia #l4l #bestofthefay #rains #monsoon #clouds #blackandwhite #instagood #instalike #love #travel #wanderlust #writer #writersofinstagram #lover #throwback #photography #videography #blogger #POTD #mothernature #beautiful #postoftheday 😇🌈

We drove by this incredible hill and found a space to park. The weather was super sunny at first but dark clouds crept in quickly. Within a few minutes of getting out of the car, it started to rain heavily. (And by this, I mean thunderstorm, hail stones and strong winds!)⠀

Determined to get some photos, we ran back into the car and waited half an hour for the rain to pass. By then, the soil was completely muddy and my trainers were sinking in. ⠀

I must admit, the end result was not the initial frame I envisioned, but given @vnthota and I couldn’t go any further with our drenched trainers, this was the only angle we could get. ⠀

But here’s to an Italian roadtrip memory we won’t forget! 😂 #lifewelltravelled #cathaypacific ⠀

I’ve also learned my 4.5 tog duvet is frankly a joke compared to Ashley’s 10.5 tog.

Right now I’m sat outside listening to a crew blast “I want to know what love is”. It’s also meant to be raining very heavily at the moment and continue all night. This is not good news.

One can tell by observing the way they interact w/ one another, the way they value family & even the way they talk. Their history is rich. We can see the tremendous influence & ingenuity that have impacted our modern ways today. We were very lucky on this trip. W/ the exception of The Vatican, the crowds were not bad at all. We experienced worse heat & humidity in Mexico. Even though we got rained on pretty heavily, it was still exciting & fun to run alone through the rainy streets of Rome at night while an umbrella hawker followed us for 9 blocks cutting his price from €15 to €5. He was so disappointed when it finally stopped pouring. We got hit again w/ rain & wind on our ascent to Mount Vesuvius where we couldn’t see 5’ beyond our noses. On our descent, the clouds miraculous parted & we were able to see the crater for 5 min. We drove into Naples to see if it is as derelict & gritty as described...picture the bad parts of NYC, LA, Oakland & some parts of South America. We stopped to help a stranded fellow tourist & her teenage son. Now we will have forever free lodging if we are ever in Bath, UK. We also enjoyed dinner & wine w/ new friends who offered to host us if we are ever in Australia or Austria. As I wrote on the day I found out about Anthony Bourdain’s passing, when we sit down to share a meal w/ different people, we find that we have more similarities than differences. Grazie & arrivederci, Italia! Until we meet again.
p.s. They use the left lanes on the autostrade for passing. Americans need to learn that. And you don’t get honked if you don’t yield only if you don’t go. Happy driving! 👍

It rained so heavily on this morning that we were pretty sure we wouldn’t be able to see Machu Picchu if it carried on raining like this!⛈💦 (Seriously, it was torrential! The raindrops felt like someone was chucking pebbles at you.) We had to queue for two and a half hours in that rain... and to top it off, we had a big hike ahead of us which would have been awful in the rain! 😱 You can’t imagine how huge our smiles where when, the minute we stepped into Machu Picchu, the rain stopped almost instantly and the clouds parted to reveal this beauty! 😍😊😁

A monk known as Tapa lived in Khadur. He was worshipped by some of the local villagers. Tapa was jealous of Guru Angad Dev Ji, the second Guru of Sikhs. He was jealous by the reverence shown to Guru by the people. He wanted to be considered as great as the Guru, so he looked forward for an opportunity to disgrace the Guru and earn some recognition for himself. One year, the village was hit by a drought and rain was nowhere in sight. Tapa started telling people that the drought was because of Guru Angad Dev Ji's presence in the town. He said, “If you expel the Guru, I will bring rain within twenty-four hours." Some people then started asking Guru Angad to leave the town. Ultimately, Guru Ji left the town and went seven villages away from Khadur where Tapa had no influence.
When Baba Amar Das Ji arrived at Khadur the following morning, he could not find Guru Angad Dev Ji anywhere. On inquiry, the people narrated the whole story to Baba Amar Das. In the meantime Tapa failed to bring any rain. Baba Amar Das Ji told people about how great of a tyranny they have committed. They expelled the true Guru and followed a fake monk. The people began to realize their blunder. They went to Guru Angad Dev Ji, apologized and asked him to come back to the town. Guru Ji agreed to return to the village. Clouds covered the sky and it rained heavily on the day Guru Angad Dev Ji returned to the village.

The rain poured heavily down on the dark metropolis known as New York. The vigilante stood at the top of a small building, overviewing everything as the heavy rain hit him. Not being phased by it at all, he looked up at the moon. Barely visible by the clouds, with the thunder also roaring, rorschach looked back down, all the whores and criminals never ceases to disgust him. The water droplets rolled down his fedora, rorschach staying silent. Playing out his narrative in his thoughts. Also in his journal, right now he wouldn't write in it. Too wet, he was in a dangerous neighborhood. Looking out to see if any of the scum did anything. Rorschach then pushed his glove worn hands into his coat pockets, shifting his body into the other direction and then moving away from the edge. Only murmuring, "Hurm..." As he walked towards the edge above a alley, he then jumped and landed at the top of a dumpster. Jumping off that and then walking out of the dark and cold alley alleyway. Still on patrol while he looked around. Nothing yet... The night was still young, 3 am. That was young to him, he never took proper rest, neither did the criminals that defaced the streets. Rorschach then took a left and began walking down the sidewalk, his head lowered looking down upon the ground and his hands still in his coat pockets.

In honor of #internationalwaterday
Water is life, water is sacred. Today lets all take a moment to appreciate the sources of water around us because 2.5 billion people worldwide don’t have access to clean water. In the area I live in Nepal, women line up for hours twice a week at a public tap to fill large jugs of water to drink and cook with. Purchasing water from the local store costs about 3 dollars per week, to much for most people to afford. There is no running water in our house, we have to bring all our water for cleaning and flushing from a well and purify it with a sand filter because it is so muddy. There are over 20 people living in our house who all use that well so the water is deep in the ground and hard to get. Since living here I have reflected a lot on how carelessly I used water growing up in America. When you easily have access to something you end up using more than you need. When you don’t have access, you conserve, you reuse, you are forced to live in more sustainable means. In many ways this is human nature and I believe within the next 50 years being sustainable will become less about trendiness/ capitalism and more of a means of survival in a severally resource depleted world. At least 200 cities globally are currently facing a serious water crisis and 36% of the cities across the world will face a water crisis by 2050. Bengaluru, India for example will be without water within a few months. Many of its lakes that remain are heavily polluted. Bellandur has become so toxic it spontaneously catches fire, emitting clouds of white froth so large authorities have had to build barriers to keep it from spilling onto the road. This is where the industrialized world is headed. We are polluting the source of all life on earth. People need to have a embodied reverence for water that acknowledges the physical and spiritual importance of its purity. Water is sacred, water is life, respect it by learning to build rain gardens, creating water recycling systems from your house to your garden, creating rainwater catchment systems, shower together, stop eating meat, and advocate for the basic human right.
