Let this cup pass from me,” Jesus was battling the flesh and its desire for self-preservation and comfort. The struggle was intense: Jesus was “overwhelmed with sorrow to the point of death” (Matthew 26:38), and Luke the physician observed that Jesus was sweating blood—a sign of extreme anguish (Luke 22:44). If anything shows that Jesus was indeed fully man, this prayer is it.

Jesus knew of what was to come (see Mark 8:31). The agony He faced was going to be more than physical; it would be spiritual and emotional, as well. Jesus knew that God’s will was to crush Him, to allow Him to be “pierced for our transgressions” and wounded for our healing (Isaiah 53:5–10). Jesus loves mankind, but His humanity dreaded the pain and sorrow He faced, and it drove Him to ask His Father, “Let this cup pass from me.” Jesus’ prayer to “let this cup pass from me” contains two important qualifications. First, He prays, “If it is possible.” If there was any other way to redeem mankind, Jesus asks to take that other way. The events following His prayer show that there was no other way; Jesus Christ is the only possible sacrifice to redeem the world (John 1:29; Acts 4:12; Hebrews 10:14; Revelation 5:9). Second, Jesus prays, “Yet not as I will, but as you will.” Jesus was committed to the will of God, body, mind, and soul. The prayer of the righteous is always dependent on the will of God (see Matthew 6:10). In Gethsemane, Jesus conquered the flesh and kept it in subjection to the spirit. He did this through earnest prayer and intense, willful submission to God’s plan. It is good to know that, when we face trials, Jesus knows what it’s like to want God’s will and yet not to want it; to act out of love yet dread the hurt that often results; to desire righteousness and obedience, even when the flesh is screaming out against it. This conflict is not sinful; it is human. Our Savior was “fully human in every way, in order that he might become a merciful and faithful high priest in service to God” (Hebrews 2:17). He had come “to seek and to save the lost” (Luke 19:10), and He accomplished His mission, even though it meant drinking the cup of suffering to the bitter end.

[PART 1 of 2] Karma is a theological concept that is taught in Hinduism, Buddhism and the New Age Movement. The Sanskrit word “karma” basically means “to do or act.” It teaches that every thought or deed, whether they are good or bad, will have consequences that will determine the quality of life an individual will have after reincarnation (Source: Kenneth Shouler Ph.D. & Susai Anthony, The Everything Hinduism Book, pg. 58). So if the good outweighs the bad you'll reincarnate into something better and if the bad outweighs the good you'll reincarnate into something worst.
_
Almost all pagan or new age beliefs teach reincarnation with evolution. The belief that each person was evolving into higher life was a pre-flood religion. In Noah's era, the doctrine of karma did not exist. The doctrine of karma came into existence in post-flood paganism (Source: Ancient Paganism, Ken Johnson Th.D, pg. 38-39).
_
Now some might say that karma is part of Christianity because of Galatians 6:7 (ESV): 📖“Do not be deceived: God is not mocked, for whatever one sows, that will he also reap.”📖
_
Even though the scriptures teach us that we will reap what we will sow, karma and Christianity are not compatible. We must remember that Galatians 6:7 is talking to Christians about this lifetime, not the afterlife. Karma and the biblical idea of reaping what you sow are not the same. The Bible teaches that after this one life we will come to the judgment.📖“And just as it is appointed for man to die once, and after that comes judgment..”📖 - Hebrews 9:27 (ESV). So reincarnation is unbiblical.
_
The Bible teaches that all deserve death (Romans 6:23). Every single sin we commit warrants death, and no amount of good works can make up for it. It is not our actions that lead to salvation, it is Jesus' (Ephesians 2:8-9).
_
Karma teaches that our good can outweigh our bad. The Bible says our good works are like filthy rags (Isaiah 64:6), but Jesus' works make us a new creation, reconciled to God, unstained by our own sin (2 Corinthians 5:17-20).

New Messianic Jewish Music: Volume II by Miqedem

⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
The Messianic Israeli band Miqedem based out of Tel Aviv just released their second album. Since 2015, their members have been combining the old with the new to bring a pretty tight mix of Middle Eastern Israeli flavor with a modern edge. They released their first album under the eponymous titled Miqedem in May 2016. The lyrics to the songs on the first album all came directly from the Tanach. The new album, simply titled Vol. II, continues down the same path.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
If you like instruments and vocals floating in a lot of reverb as I do, you will enjoy these tracks. The musicianship on the new album is impressive and the production quality is top notch, which is important to me because then the listener is able to soak in the songs without distractions from the technical side of things. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Most of the songs are taken from the Psalms, and unlike most artists who borrow from the Scriptures, Miqedem sometimes sings through the entire Psalm. I was excited to see that there were some Psalms from the Hallel (Psalm 113-118). ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
If you would like to know what Scriptures they are using on the new album, I took notes as I listened through the track list:

Just a few of the many awesome experiences and pictures from this week in Nepal. God is so incredible and the testimonies are endless. We saw supernatural healings, deaf ears open, salvations, people freed from torment, a paralyzed person given strength to walk and sooo much more. After a 7hr bus ride and literally climbing hours up mountains, these light afflictions didn’t even compare to the JOY we felt as people encountered the love of God for the first time. I wept as people who never even heard of Jesus, Hindus, and people with hardened hearts were encountered. As I shared my testimony a group of over ten children said they wanted to know this Jesus that saves. I wept as I was reminded that in Psalm 2, that the nations are His inheritance!! I wept as I gazed upon the harvest and began to pray that Matthew 9:38 prayer that God would send out laborers— those willing to lay it all down in unashamed love for the Gospel and bear this witness as a lifestyle and not only when convenient. The mission field is everywhere and the Gospel isn’t only for the unreached. Not just here, or across the country, but in the very community that we’re in. .
.
I remembered in Isaiah 6:8 as God looked for the one who would go and speak to the people. I remember Isaiah’s response as he replies “Here I am! Send me!!” —...And I wept. As we sang “every nation, every soul”, the very magnitude of that statement spoke to me. I wept as we prayed and walked around in Doha, Qatar & Dubai, UAE for our layovers. Just when I thought I couldn’t get anymore wrecked and radical haha. I wept because studying Arabic for the past two years hadn’t completely failed me HAHAHAH. Your girl here is almost at the reading comprehension of a 5 year old 😂. (threw a joke in there for y’all). With all that said: I’m sooo thankful for my awesome team, new fiery friends, salvations, and some supernatural testimonies. Danya Bahd Yesu ❤️. ~3/8/18-3/18/18

To the Catholics in the house:

Today is Ash Wednesday and a holy day of obligation.

It’s the day that begins our Lenten observance. A period we go out of our way to pray, fast and do almsgiving.

We are called to attend mass today and abstain from meat.

Our fasting may not necessarily be from food but from the vices we deal with everyday- lying, talking too much, bickering, no respect for constituted authority, blasphemy, slander, drinking, etc.

May the graces of the season be made manifest in our lives, hearts and homes, Amen.
*WHAT SHOULD I GIVE UP FOR LENT? MEAT? SWEETS? CHOCOLATE? ICE CREAM? BEVERAGES ? MEAT?* Many of us try to be more disciplined for Lent and give up something that we really like. That’s great! Fasting has always been an important tradition of Lent. This year however, let us also consider other things that we can give up. *Give up complaining* - _Focus on gratitude_
Philippians 2:14-15 – Do everything without complaining or arguing, so that you may become blameless and pure...
1 Thessalonians 5:18 – Give thanks in all circumstances, for this is God’s will for you in Jesus Christ. *Give up bitterness* - _Turn to forgiveness_
Ephesians 4:31 – Get rid of all bitterness, rage and anger, brawling and slander, along with every form of malice.
Ephesians 4:32 – Be kind and compassionate to one another forgiving each other, just as in Christ God forgave you. *Give up worry* - _Trust in God_
Matthew 6:25 – “Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life… who by worrying can add a single hour to his life?”
Matthew 6:33 – But seek first His Kingdom and His righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well. *Give up discouragement* - _Be full of hope_
Deuteronomy 31:8 – The Lord himself goes before you and will be with you: he will never leave you or forsake you. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged.
Isaiah 40:31 – But those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint. *Give up hatred* - _Return good for evil_
1 John 2:9 – Anyone who claims to be in the light but hates his brother is sti

Isaiah 65:17 - “For behold, I create new heavens and a new earth; And the former shall not be remembered or come to mind. Revelation 21:5 - Then He who sat on the throne said, “Behold, I make all things new.” And He said to me, “Write, for these words are true and faithful. 🔸From the very beginning of creation on this earth God was a creator God (Genesis 1:1). He creates. He is the ultimate creative Being. He is always making us new and giving us new beginnings. It doesn’t matter who you are or where you’re from, who you’ve been or what others think. Your mistakes of past don’t matter. You are a new creation in Christ. That is what counts. Christ is all and in all (Colossians 3:9-11). In God’s Word we are told that we are being made new. We can choose to believe it and walk in that truth, or we can deny the power of God and His power to change even the deadest of hearts into new hearts softened with love. He is making all things new, He is bringing the dead back to life in Christ! We are new and with new beginnings. New creations. Our God is a God of all things new. We are given a new spirit as children of God. So why fear? We are putting off the old self and putting on the new self. We are being renewed in Christ daily! For God is in control of our future? He turns our hearts from stone to flesh. New beginnings. New mercies. Newness of life forevermore (Ezekiel 11:19). God gently reminds me in Scriptures of this today, that if I a. to trust Him, I am to take Him at His Word. His Word tells us that each of us are new creations in Him. If we are Christ followers, He is making us new. God’s timing may not be ours, it may not happen as quickly as we would like.” But yes we can trust in Him will come. The Psalms are full of praise and singing NEW songs to God! (Psalm 40:3) When you find yourself on what God is doing a new season in your life that scares you, fear not for He brings you through it. And remember your new name is Strength, Fearless, and Grateful. Walk in the beauty of His new work in your heart and the 👇

CHRIST IN THE HEBREW SCRIPTURES AS THE “PRESENCE” OF YAHWEH, THE UNCREATED ANGEL (MESSENGER) OF YAHWEH, WHO IS YAHWEH IN THE PERSON OF THE SON. READ THE SCRIPTURES IN ORDER TO SEE JESUS IN HIS PREINCARNATE STATE.
IN THE FOLLOWING PASSAGE, YAHWEH PROMISES TO SEND AN ANGEL BEFORE THE PEOPLE OF ISRAEL TO GUIDE THEM INTO THE PROMISED LAND. THIS ANGEL HAS THE NAME OF YAHWEH IN HIM, AND IN BIBLICAL TERMS, TO HAVE THE NAME OF YAHWEH IN HIM IS TO SHARE IN HIS NATURE, AUTHORITY, GLORY AND CHARACTERISTICS. “"Behold, I am going to send an angel before you to guard you along the way and to bring you into the place which I have prepared. Be on your guard before him and OBEY HIS VOICE; do not be rebellious toward him, for HE WILL NOT PARDON YOUR TRANSGRESSION, SINCE MY NAME IS IN HIM. But if you truly obey his voice and do all that I say, then I will be an enemy to your enemies and an adversary to your adversaries.”
‭‭Exodus‬ ‭23:20-22‬ ‭NASB‬‬ IN THE FOLLOWING VERSE, “PRESENCE” IS TRANSLATED CONTEXTUALLY AS “FACE.” BUT WHO IS THE FACE OF YAHWEH? THE ANGEL IS, AS CONFIRMED EARLIER IN EXODUS 23:20-22 AND CONFIRMED BY ISAIAH 63:9 “And He said, "MY PRESENCE shall go with you, and I will give you rest."”
‭‭Exodus‬ ‭33:14‬ ‭NASB‬‬ IN THE FOLLOWING VERSE, WE SEE THE REBELLION OF THE ISRAELITES IN THE WILDERNESS AND THE JUDGMENT OF THE ANGEL WHICH IS CONFIRMED IN JUDGES 2:1-5. THE ISRAELITES GRIEVED THE HOLY SPIRIT OF THE ANGEL, AND HE TURNED AGAINST THEM. SOUNDS MUCH LIKE THE ISRAELITES WHO BLASPHEMED THE HOLY SPIRIT, AND JESUS TURNING AGAINST THEM “In all their affliction He was afflicted, And the ANGEL OF HIS PRESENCE saved them; In His love and in His mercy He redeemed them, And He lifted them and carried them all the days of old. But they rebelled And grieved His Holy Spirit; Therefore He turned Himself to become their enemy, He fought against them.”
‭‭Isaiah‬ ‭63:9-10‬ ‭NASB‬‬ THIS IS WHY JESUS CAN RIGHTLY SAY “"Jerusalem, Jerusalem, who kills the prophets and stones those who are sent to her! HOW OFTEN I WANTED TO GATHER YOUR CHILDREN TOGETHER, the way a hen gathers her chicks under her wings, and you were unwilling.”
‭‭Matthew‬ ‭23:37‬ ‭NASB‬‬

Acts 3:25 Ye are the children of the prophets, and of the covenant which Igziabher(god) made with our fathers, saying unto Abraham, And in thy seed shall all the kindreds of the earth be blessed.

1 Peter 2:9 But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light:

1 Peter 2:10 Which in time past were not a people, but are now the people of Igziabher(god): which had not obtained mercy, but now have obtained mercy.

Job's loss of possessions and family members and the alienation of his friends shook his faith to its foundation. However, he kept his faith by trusting in God! And he showed Satan's accusations to be unfounded.
_
Even in his complaints, Job acknowledged that only God could provide the answers he needed. When Job wished for death, it was to gain relief until God could deal with him under more favorable conditions (Job 14:13). When Job desired a mediator, it was to facilitate finding favor with God (Job 9:33-35). When Job complained that God didn't listen, it was because he knew that his answers had to come from God (Job 19:25-27). That is the very essence of faith.
_
Sin does bring suffering, but Satan's accusation that suffering people must have sinned is not necessarily true (Isaiah 54:14; Romans 8:1). Some today blindly follow Job's friends in equating godliness with blessing. But at its root, this equation expresses unbelief because it refuses to realize that:
_
📖“For I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worth comparing with the glory that is to be revealed to us.”📖 - Romans 8:18 ESV
_
As Paul reminds us, 📖“And if children, then heirs—heirs of God and fellow heirs with Christ, provided we suffer with him in order that we may also be glorified with him.”📖 - Romans 8:17 ESV
_
We are not meant to know or understand everything (See: Genesis, 2:17; Deuteronomy 29:29; Acts 1:7; 1 Thessalonians 5:1-2). Some things are for God alone to comprehend and direct according to his sovereign will. Our response should be to accept in faith what he sends us. Even when we suffer, we can trust God (Romans 8:26-39).

INTRODUCING: I AM - SET APART "To be holy means to be S E T // A P A R T, to be completely distinct, to be in a class of one’s own. When God says that He is holy, He means that He is completely set apart from everything else. From the beginning, God created and set apart humanity to bear His image and display His holiness to all of Creation, but we rebelled in sin and we fell short of His glory. (Genesis 1:26-27, Romans 1:25, Romans 3:23)

In love and grace, God sent His Son Jesus to live a perfectly righteous life, which He gave up on the Cross to take on the wrath that humanity deserved for falling short of God’s perfect standard of holiness. (1 John 4:9-10) In His death and resurrection, Jesus took away our sin and declared us righteous, so that we would no longer be slaves to sin but children of God. (Colossians 2:13-14, 2 Corinthians 5:21, Romans 8:1-17)
Like the Israelites of the Old Testament, Christians are the new holy nation set apart for and by God to demonstrate His own love, righteousness, and holiness to the rest of the world. Obviously, we are not perfect; we are still works in progress and we still carry brokenness.

But God is not only faithful to save His people: He is faithful to sanctify, or to make us more holy by shaping us more into the image of His Son. We are being made perfect by the Holy Spirit until the day we -- from every tribe, tongue, and nation -- stand before Him complete: a people for His own possession.
You, washed white as snow by the crimson blood of Christ, are S E T // A P A R T for the holy King. (Isaiah 1:18)" --

1 Who has believed our message and to whom has the arm of the Lord been revealed?
2 He grew up before him like a tender shoot, and like a root out of dry ground.
He had no beauty or majesty to attract us to him, nothing in his appearance that we should desire him.
3 He was despised and rejected by mankind, a man of suffering, and familiar with pain.
Like one from whom people hide their faces he was despised, and we held him in low esteem.
4 Surely he took up our pain and bore our suffering,
yet we considered him punished by God, stricken by him, and afflicted.
5 But he was pierced for our transgressions, he was crushed for our iniquities;
the punishment that brought us peace was on him, and by his wounds we are healed.
6 We all, like sheep, have gone astray, each of us has turned to our own way;
and the Lord has laid on him the iniquity of us all.
7 He was oppressed and afflicted, yet he did not open his mouth;
he was led like a lamb to the slaughter, and as a sheep before its shearers is silent, so he did not open his mouth.
8 By oppression[a] and judgment he was taken away. Yet who of his generation protested?
For he was cut off from the land of the living; for the transgression of my people he was punished.[b]
9 He was assigned a grave with the wicked, and with the rich in his death,
though he had done no violence, nor was any deceit in his mouth.
10 Yet it was the Lord’s will to crush him and cause him to suffer, and though the Lord makes[c] his life an offering for sin,
he will see his offspring and prolong his days, and the will of the Lord will prosper in his hand.
11 After he has suffered, he will see the light of life[d] and be satisfied[e];
by his knowledge[f] my righteous servant will justify many, and he will bear their iniquities.
12 Therefore I will give him a portion among the great,[g] and he will divide the spoils with the strong,[h]
because he poured out his life unto death, and was numbered with the transgressors.
For he bore the sin of many, and made intercession for the transgressors.

53 Who has believed our report?
And to whom has the arm of the Lord been revealed?
2 For He shall grow up before Him as a tender plant,
And as a root out of dry ground.
He has no form or comeliness;
And when we see Him,
There is no beauty that we should desire Him.
3 He is despised and rejected by men,
A Man of sorrows and acquainted with grief.
And we hid, as it were, our faces from Him;
He was despised, and we did not esteem Him.
4 Surely He has borne our griefs
And carried our sorrows;
Yet we esteemed Him stricken,
Smitten by God, and afflicted.
5 But He was wounded for our transgressions,
He was bruised for our iniquities;
The chastisement for our peace was upon Him,
And by His stripes we are healed.
6 All we like sheep have gone astray;
We have turned, every one, to his own way;
And the Lord has laid on Him the iniquity of us all.
7 He was oppressed and He was afflicted,
Yet He opened not His mouth;
He was led as a lamb to the slaughter,
And as a sheep before its shearers is silent,
So He opened not His mouth.
8 He was taken from prison and from judgment,
And who will declare His generation?
For He was cut off from the land of the living;
For the transgressions of My people He was stricken.
9 And they[a] made His grave with the wicked—
But with the rich at His death,
Because He had done no violence,
Nor was any deceit in His mouth.
10 Yet it pleased the Lord to bruise Him;
He has put Him to grief.
When You make His soul an offering for sin,
He shall see His seed, He shall prolong His days,
And the pleasure of the Lord shall prosper in His hand.
11 He shall see the labor of His soul,[b] and be satisfied.
By His knowledge My righteous Servant shall justify many,
For He shall bear their iniquities.
12 Therefore I will divide Him a portion with the great,
And He shall divide the spoil with the strong,
Because He poured out His soul unto death,
And He was numbered with the transgressors,
And He bore the sin of many,
And made intercession for the transgressors.

Our moral indignation because of a terrible offense done against us does not evaporate just because the offender is a Christian. In fact, we may feel even more betrayed. And a simple, 'I’m sorry' will often seem utterly disproportionate to the painfulness and ugliness of the offense.⠀

But in this case we are dealing with fellow Christians and the promise of God’s wrath against our offender does not apply, because there is 'no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus' (Romans 8:1). 'God has not destined [Christians] for wrath, but to obtain salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ' (1 Thessalonians 5:9). It looks like they are going to get away with it!⠀

Where shall we turn to assure ourselves that justice will be done — that Christianity is not a mockery of the seriousness of sin?⠀

The answer is that we look to the cross of Christ. All the wrongs that have been done against us by genuine believers were avenged in the death of Jesus. This is implied in the simple but staggering fact that all the sins of all God’s people were laid on Jesus. 'The Lord has laid on him the iniquity of us all' (Isaiah 53:6; 1 Peter 2:24).⠀

The suffering of Christ was the real punishment and recompense of God on every hurt you have ever received from a fellow Christian. Therefore, Christianity does not make light of sin. It does not add insult to our injury.⠀

On the contrary, it takes the sins against us so seriously that, to make them right, God gave his own Son to suffer more than we could ever make anyone suffer for what they have done to us. If we go on holding a grudge against a fellow believer, we are saying in effect that the cross of Christ was not a sufficient recompense for the sins of God’s people. This is an insult to Christ and his cross you do not want to give."⠀

During prayer this morning we studied and prayed concerning healing and gun crimes:. What is healing?- The process of making or becoming sound or healthy again.
What is the enemy's purpose in making us sick?
So that we are not strong or able to do the things of God.
.
.
Why must we be healed?
It brings glory to God,John 9:3
1. It allows us to live to the full potential of what God has called us to.
.
How do you obtain healing?

. • Faith birthed by the understanding of the authority in the name of Jesus- Matthew 8:5-13
. • If the centurion did not understand the authority Christ had he would not have been able to be so bold to make such a statement to Jesus. .
.
Promises of God concerning healing:
For I will restore health to you, and your wounds I will heal, declares the Lord. .
~ Jeremiah 30:17
For the LORD protects the bones of the righteous; not one of them is broken! .

( Acts 17:23-28 )
for as I was walking along I saw your many shrines. And one of your altars had this inscription on it: ‘To an Unknown God.’ This God, whom you worship without knowing, is the one I’m telling you about.

24 “He is the God who made the world and everything in it. Since He is Lord of Heaven and earth, He doesn’t live in man-made temples, 25 and human hands can’t serve His needs—for He has no needs. He Himself gives life and breath to everything, and He satisfies every need. 26 From one man he created all the nations throughout the whole earth. He decided beforehand when they should rise and fall, and He determined their boundaries.

27 “His purpose was for the nations to seek after God and perhaps feel their way toward Him and find Him—though He is not far from any one of us. 28 For in Him we live and move and exist. As some of your own poets have said, ‘We are His offspring.’”
-
( Romans 5:3-5 )
And not only that, but we also glory in tribulations, knowing that tribulation produces perseverance; 4 and perseverance, character; and character, hope. 5 Now hope does not disappoint, because the love of God has been poured out in our hearts by the Holy Spirit who was given to us..”

2 Corinthians 9:15 NKJV
Thanks be to God for His indescribable gift!

Isaiah 9:6 ESV
For to us a child is born, to us a son is given; and the government shall be upon his shoulder, and his name shall be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.

John 3:16 NKJV
For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved. •

Romans 5:8-10 NKJV
But God demonstrates His own love towards us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us. Much more then, having now been justified by His blood, we shall be saved from wrath through Him. For if when we were enemies we were reconciled to God through the death of His Son, much more, having been reconciled, we shall be saved by His life. •

Luke 19:10 ESV
For the Son of Man came to seek and to save the lost. •

Matthew 1:21-23 ESV
She will bear a son, and you shall call his name Jesus, for he will save his people from their sins. All this took place to fulfill what the Lord had spoken by the prophet: "Behold, the virgin shall conceive and bear a son, and they shall call his name Immanuel" (which means, God with us). •

John 8:12 ESV
Again Jesus spoke to them, saying, "I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will not walk in darkness, but will have the light

Beloved, I wish above all things that you prosper and be in good health, even as your soul prospers. (3rd John 2). Because you are precious to me, and honored, I love you. (Isaiah 43:4). I have loved you with an everlasting love and I will continue my Constant love. (Jeremiah 31:3). How can I abandon you? My love for you is too strong. (Hosea 11:8). I love you so much that I hung on the cross at Calvary. I died for you, and if you believe in Me you will have everlasting life (John 3:16). Can a woman forget her own baby and not love the child she bore? Yet, even should she forget, I will never forget you. I cannot forget you. See, I have graven you in the palm of my hands. (Isaiah 49:15-16). For I, the Lord your God, am holding you by the right hand. (Isaiah 41:13). I AM WITH YOU ALWAYS UNTIL THE END OF THE WORLD (Matthew 28: 20). My rod and my staff will comfort you. I will lead you in the path of righteousness. (Psalms 23). I will give you peace in the midst of a storm, not as the world giveth. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid. (John 14:27) Peace I give which will pass all understanding and shall keep your heart and mind. (Philippians 4:7). When you lie down do not be afraid, your sleep shall be sweet (Proverbs 3: 24). My love for you will keep your dwelling safe (Psalm 4:8). Beloved my eyes are upon you and I will give you hope, for I am merciful (Psalm 33:18) You will have access to my grace and rejoice in hope while sharing in the glory of my Father. (Romans 5:2). 1. “It won't be worth the wait.” Whatever that "thing" is, it is always worth waiting on God for. Come to think of it, every time I have chosen to wait on God, He has always exceeded my expectations! "For My thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways My ways." (Isaiah 55:8-9)
2. “You are missing out.” Choosing to follow God & obey His Word always leads to a greater blessing than one could ever fathom. The world's offering pales in comparison to what God has in store for those who follow Him. "What no eye has seen, nor ear heard, nor the heart of man imagined, what God has prepared for those who love Him." (1 Corinthians 2:9)
3. “Your prayers aren't being heard.” Just because you don't see anything happening right now, doesn't mean your prayers aren't being heard. They are...every single one of them. "The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much." (James 5:16)
4. “Trust your heart.” "The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately sick; who can understand it." (Jeremiah 17:9) Don't trust your heart, trust His. His heart is pure, faithful, righteous, holy, & just perfect.
5. “God didn’t really say that.” Remember Adam and Eve in the Bible?! Satan always wants us to question if God really told us something. He wants to plant a seed of doubt. The will of God will never contradict the Word of God.
6. “You know better than God.” I’ve even heard some say, “well, God’s plan didn’t work out so I am going to try it my way this time.” Uhhhh.... God’s plan always works out, it just may not be the way you wanted it to be. You see in part, when God sees EVERYTHING!! (Hebrews 4:13)
7. “God doesn’t love you.” “For God so loved the world that He gave His only Son.” (John 3:16) He didn’t just pronounce His never-ending love for you, He demonstrated it on the cross.
8. “I Can't.” Well, you may not be able to on your own, but when you add God into the equation, amazing things happen. You may feel underqualified, untalented, or you may be wondering "how am I going to do this," but that is the best place to be. All of your trust rests in the Lord God, enabling Him to show up & shine through you! ➵

Let this mind be in you which was also in Christ Jesus, who, being in the form of God, did not consider it robbery to be equal with God, but made Himself of no reputation, taking the form of a BONDSERVANT, and coming in the likeness of men. Therefore God also has highly exalted Him and given Him the name which is above every name, that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of those in heaven, and of those on earth, and of those under the earth, and that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.

Trust in and rely confidently on the Lord with all your heart And do not rely on your own insight or understanding. In all your ways know and acknowledge and recognize Him, And He will make your paths straight and smooth [removing obstacles that block your way].

I will go before thee, and make the crooked places straight...

I will go before you and make the rough places smooth...

Religion is “the belief in and worship of a superhuman controlling power, especially a personal God or gods.” In that respect, Christianity can be classified as a religion. However, practically speaking, Christianity has a key difference that separates it from other belief systems that are considered religions. That difference is relationship.

Most religion, theistic or otherwise, is man-centered. Any relationship with God is based on man’s works. A theistic religion, such as Judaism or Islam, holds to the belief in a supreme God or gods; while non-theistic religions, such as Buddhism and Hinduism, focus on metaphysical thought patterns and spiritual “energies.” But most religions are similar in that they are built upon the concept that man can reach a higher power or state of being through his own efforts. In most religions, man is the aggressor and the deity is the beneficiary of man’s efforts, sacrifices, or good deeds. Paradise, nirvana, or some higher state of being is man’s reward for his strict adherence to whatever tenets that religion prescribes.

In that regard, Christianity is not a religion; it is a relationship that God has established with His children. In Christianity, God is the aggressor and man is the beneficiary (Romans 8:3). The Bible states clearly that there is nothing man can do to make himself right with God (Isaiah 53:6; 64:6; Romans 3:23; 6:23). According to Christianity, God did for us what we cannot do for ourselves (Colossians 2:13; 2 Corinthians 5:21). Our sin separates us from His presence, and sin must be punished (Romans 6:23; Matthew 10:28; 23:33). But, because God loves us, He took our punishment upon Himself. All we must do is accept God’s gift of salvation through faith (Ephesians 2:8–9; 2 Corinthians 5:21). Grace is God’s blessing on the undeserving.

God does not ask us to try to attain holiness by our own strength, as religion does. He asks that our old self be crucified with Him so that His power can live through us (Galatians 2:20; Romans 6:6). God wants us to know Him, to draw near to Him, to pray to Him, and love Him above everything. That is not religion; that is a relationship.

Not to mention, the people whom He appeared to didn’t just see Him, but ate with Him, walked with Him, touched Him. Jesus even made breakfast (John 21:9) at one point.

6. The martyrdom of witnesses offers proof
Would people leave their businesses, careers, homes and families, go to the ends of the earth, die horribly gruesome and painful deaths and forsake their previous religious beliefs about salvation all to protect a lie? Not one of them, while being beheaded, fed to lions, boiled in oil, crucified upside down or burned alive changed their story. Instead, they sang hymns of trust and praise, knowing that the Lord who defeated death would raise them up, too.

7. There is still a Church
If the Resurrection were a lie it would have died off centuries ago. The Christian Church is the largest institution of any kind in the history of humanity. This Church began with the apostles following Pentecost, the year Christ rose. It has conquered empires, withstood attacks (inside and out) and grown in spite of the sinfulness of its members, because it was founded by Christ, Himself, and is guided and protected by the Holy Spirit. The Church, like Christ, is both human and divine.

8. Jesus prophesied that it was going to happen
Jesus told people that it was going to happen. It didn’t take Him by surprise. And He didn’t just say “I’m going to be killed” (which others might have seen coming) but also that “I’m going to rise on the third day.” Those details aren’t ironic, coincidental or fortune-telling — they’re called prophecy and true prophecy comes from God, Himself.

9. It was prophesied in the Old Testament
It was foretold centuries before Christ, Himself, was born or lived it out. Hundreds of prophecies about the Messiah, what He would say, do, live like and how He would die… they were offered centuries apart by people God selected (most of whom never met one another, by the way). Isaiah, Jeremi

One should not miss the testimony of the solar system (Isaiah 40:22), the persuasion of the sea (Genesis 1:9), the amazing intricacies of the human body (Psalm 139:13-16).
_
There’s the evidence of history: God’s deliverance of His people, the miracles on Passover night (Exodus 7-11) and at the Red Sea (Exodus 14), the visions in Isaiah (Isaiah 6), the Shekinah Glory that filled the Temple (2 Chronicles 7), the Virgin Birth of Jesus (Isaiah 7:14), His mighty miracles (Acts 2:22), His resurrection from the dead (Matthew 28:6).

There’s the evidence of Special Revelation, the wonder of the Bible as God’s Word (2 Timothy 3:16-17), unsurpassed in its coherence over time, in its historical accuracy and its life-renewing power (Romans 10:17).

In short, there is no shortage of empirical indicators or evidences of God’s existence – from the thousand stars of the heavens (Genesis 15:5) to the 500 witnesses of Christ’s resurrection (1 Corinthians 15:3-8).”

-
💥 HAWKS: Lin (1 yr $12.5 mil left on contract) only played in 1 game last season bc of a ruptured patellar tendon in his right knee, but avg 14.5 PPG, 5.1 APG, 3.8 RPG & 1.2 SPG in 36 games for Brooklyn in the 2016-2017 season. He will join the PG trio of him, Trae Young & Dennis Schroder in Atlanta next season 🔥
-
💥 NETS: Faried (1 yr $13.8 mil left on contract) avg 5.9 PPG & 4.8 RPG in 36 games off the bench in Denver last season. Arthur (1 yr $7.5 mil left on contract) avg 2.8 PPG & 0.8 RPG in 18 games off the bench in Denver last season. Both of these bigs will add bench depth to Brooklyn's frontcourt next year 💯 Cordinier was the 44th pick in 2016 by Atlanta but stayed overseas. He last played for the Antibes Sharks in France, avg 6.4 PPG, 2.8 RPG & 2 APG in the 2016-2017 season. Chances are that he might not ever come to the NBA, but if he does then Brooklyn will have his rights 🏀
-
💥 NUGGETS: Whitehead (2 yrs $3.2 mil left on contract) avg 6.3 PPG, 1.6 RPG & 1.3 APG in 16 games off the bench in Brooklyn. His deal is non-guaranteed so he is expected to be waived by Denver (especially with the signing of Isaiah Thomas at backup PG)
-
💥 OVERALL THOUGHTS: This trade gives Atalanta a solid PG, that can be used if they trade or keep Dennis Schroder. This trade gives the Nets some draft assets for taking on 2 of Denver's bad contracts. It gives Brooklyn some solid backups for this year & since both contracts expire in 1 year, they will still have a lot of cap next offseason. This trade gives Denver a major cap relief. The Nuggets really wanted to stay below the luxury tax next season & this trade puts them approximately $8.7 mil below it. To put this in perspective, by trading Arthur (Nets), Faried (Nets) & Wilson Chandler (76ers in earlier trade), the Nuggets will save about $90 mil in both cap room & luxury tax combined. Who won this trade?? Comment your thoughts below 👌🙌

We last seen where The Most High divorced Yisra'el and said later he would have grace and call them His people again. A cutting from the tree, only to be grafted back in later. Once again nothing about christianity. So let's come out of Hosha and go back to Romans 9:25 :And her beloved, which was not beloved. And it shall come to pass, that in the place where it was said unto them, ye are not my people; There shall they be called the children of the living Elohiym. Yesha'YAHU also cries concerning [Yisra'el,] through the number of the children of Yisra'el be as the sands of the sea, a remnant shall be saved: We put this scripture up so you can see it lines up with YAH divorcing Yisra'el in Hosea 1:6-11. And this is what's happening today. Once their removed from the church they can be grafted back in. But only a remnant of them shall be saved.
............................................. Lets peep at Jeremiah 2:21 Yet I planted you noble vine, wholly a right seed: how then are you turned into the degenerate plant of strange vine unto me? We are just showing you how this all pertains to Israel before we even get to Romans 11: 17-23; That TD Jake's lied to his congregation, that they were Gentiles and European heathens was grafted in through this scripture.
............................................. Now look at Yesha'YAHU(Isaiah 5:1- Now will I sing to my wellbeloved a song of my beloved touching his vineyard.( Now remember in Romans 9:25 you saw the term beloved.) Back to Isaiah: My wellbeloved has a vineyard in a very fruitful hill: And he fenced it, and gathered out the stones thereof, and planted it with the choicest vine, and built a tower in the midst of it, and also made a winepress therein: and he looked that it should bring forth grapes, and it brought forth wild grapes, And now, O inhabitants of [YERUSHALAYIM,] and men of [YAHUDAH], judge, I pray you, betwixt me and my vineyard. What could have been done more to my vineyard, that I have not done in it?[Now did you hear heathens or Christianity?] Wherefore, when I looked that it should bring forth grapes, brought it forth wild grapes. [ We will bring this to an end in the next post].

This is actually a valid question and I've noticed many Christians often struggle to provide a consistent biblical answer. Why did God create people he knew would sin? Why did God create people he knew would end up in Hell? Why did God create Lucifer & his angels knowing that they would rebel? I've seen philosophers and apologists try to answer these questions and most of the time their answers aren't backed up by scripture but are rather based on autonomous thoughts or theories.
_
The Bible teaches that God declares the end from the beginning and from ancient times things not yet done (Isaiah 46:9-10). This means that God has the foreknowledge of literally everything that comes to pass. Jesus even had the foreknowledge of Judas' betrayal (John 13:19). The Bible also teaches that God knew that sin would enter the world and he planned the redemption before he even created the universe. He chose his elect before the foundation of the world and predestined them to be children of Christ (Ephesians 1:4-6). Grace was planned for sinners before he created us (2 Timothy 1:9)
_
So back to the questions. Why did God create people knowing that they would sin? Why did God create Satan and create those who he knew would end up in Hell? The answers are found in Romans 9:22-23.
_
📖“What if God, desiring to show his wrath and to make known his power, has endured with much patience vessels of wrath prepared for destruction, in order to make known the riches of his glory for vessels of mercy, which he has prepared beforehand for glory..”📖 - Romans 9:22‭-‬23 ESV
_
Ultimately God did all that to glorify himself. Keep in mind that God exists as one being in three persons (Father, Son, Holy Spirit), so this is not a selfish unjust act of glorification (John 17:5). According to Paul in Romans 9, God wants his just wrath and power to be displayed so that believers would see and understand the glory of his grace. This is His story.

As I was reading God's Word this morning, I came across this verse and thought I would share these thoughts with those who are learning to hate their sin. I hope you find this helpful in your walk with Christ!

The better we know God, the more we will hate our sin. The psalmist speaks of the “beauty” of God’s holiness (Psalm 29:2). The clearer that beauty is to us, the more we will despise anything that threatens to distort that brilliance. The lover of light will naturally hate darkness. The closer we draw to God’s beauty, the uglier our own sin becomes to us, because imperfection, side by side with perfection, is always glaringly insufficient (Isaiah 6:5). To better know God, we must spend time in His Holy Word, the Bible (Psalm 119:11, 163). And we must commune with Him in prayer. It is impossible to pray in earnest and not feel convicted by our own sin. Prayer leads to a hatred of sin as it leads us into a closer relationship with Christ!

The more we love God, the more we will hate our sin. We are not our own, but we belong to God (1 Corinthians 6:20). The Lord has given us the very breath of life, and our sin grieves Him (Ephesians 4:30). Why would we tolerate that which grieves the One we love? A mother hates the sickness that kills her child, and, if we really love the Lord, we will hate the sin that grieves Him.

The better we understand the sacrifice of Christ, the more we will hate our sin. Jesus, the only innocent Man, shed His blood to save us from our sin. In a very real way, our sin caused His death. Our sin scourged Him, beat Him, mocked Him, and finally nailed Him to a cross. We despised and rejected Him.(see Isaiah 53:3)Once we understand the price Jesus paid for our salvation, we will love Him even more, and we will hate what caused His pain.

The more often we consider eternity, the more we will hate our sin. “And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment.."(Hebrews 9:27). No one will still love sin after he dies. The sooner we think of sin not as a pleasure but as the basis of the coming judgment, the sooner we will hate our own sin and love God!

1 Chronicles 21:1 - 30, Revelations 12:11,
The sword talks about violence, judgment, death, release of death . David was moved by satan to do something to the natural eye that was not evil but it brought death into the land. The bible says that the only way to turn death away is by sacrifice . We are focusing very much on the fact that gun and knife crime is killing people but sickness is also killing people. I believe that God is asking us to pay a sacrifice for the lives. The problem is not the world but I believe the we christians are not paying the sacrifice for lives of the lost. Read 2 Chronicles 7:14 and Exodus 12
.
Matthew 5:13-16, There are people dying because we are not going. Salt does not fulfil purpose while in the bottle it only fulfils purpose when it is being poured and spread. As a church we need to take responsibility! We cannot be removed from what we is happening.
.
2 Corinthians 5:18-19,
1. Pray that the Lord would have mercy upon the people, let us stand in the gap. We are responsible. It’s going to cost us our time and our convenience but what is the cost of a soul?
.
2. Hebrews 12: 22-24, Ephesians 1:7, Revelation 5:9,
Plead the blood of Jesus over as many young people that you know that death will be far from our young people in Jesus name.
.
3.Ephesians 1:20-23, Numbers 21:9
Every decree made in whatever realm because we have the name of Jesus it is cancelled ! We have authority and we can take authority over the spirit of death in the name of Jesus.
.
4. Ephesians 2:1, John 16:18
We bind the prince of the power of the air, the spirit that that is working in the sons of disobedience. Everything that happens is done in darkness so ask the Lord to cause our young people to come alive in Him in the name of Jesus. Ask the Lord to convict our young people of sin, righteousness and judgment.

(Part 1/2)The last couple of years the above Psalms have been coming up, over and over and over. I believe it is by God's Grace, of The Holy Spirit at work. I feel The Spirit has been telling me what I need. Real life, God has even done a few works where I've been randomly lead to a park or "green pastures" and The Spirit was like "see". See how peaceful this is. See how you need rest. See how this time, then spurs you on to get back into the race(Hebrews 12:1).
_________________
Initially I thought okay this is cool. Thanks for the rest, now let me get back to "work". The truth is we all, as Born Again(John 3:3) Christians need an active flow of rest in our days. This practice leads into restful weeks, months and years. Daily we need time where we run to God with our troubles(1 Peter 5:7), wins(2 Corinthians 2:14)and just for general direction(Proverbs 16:9). As The Scriptures advise us to not worry about tomorrow(Matthew 6:34), if we have this active practice in our lives, we won't have to worry about tomorrow. Why? Well you are actively in The Arms of your Heavenly Father, so why worry? Actively submitting to His Will, through rest(Psalms 127:1-2)and reliance(John 15:5) on Him is where peace and strength(Isaiah 40:31) is born. While being in this active state of rest, by His Grace and submission through The Work of The Holy Spirit(John 16:7)is where supernatural peace, joy and contentment comes from.
_________________
Here are some tips to test out if you're in need of rest.👇If you are not feeling rested, guess what? You probably need rest! So get before Him and let Him lead you to a daily Sabbath. From there a harvest of peace and joy will be reaped(Galatians 6:7-9) throughout your years.👇👇❤
