Many times it's easy to focus on the things going wrong and then lose sight of all the things going right.
I know because I am the evidence! Sometimes we feel like we've prayed and cried for so long and God isn't answering. I know.
The answer may not be what we hoped for, one thing I am sure of however is that God is in your corner and he will not give up on you.
Look at this image. That's the image of a man who is learning to face his fears. The very best things in life are on the other side of fear! What's holding you back? .

Ever since I was a little girl, I knew I would follow life on my own terms. If you know my roots you will understand why. We were not meant to be and if not for the determination of our mamaocha we won't be here today. I choose the educational path and worked hard to achieve the highest degree at 28. I have been to so many places thanks to my day job as a researcher but in the end I choose passion, with a firm desire to inspire other women to follow their dreams. .

@Regrann from @onuche_iam - LET THERE BE WAR!

You who say aloud,
"Return to motherland,
prepare for war.
Or you are on your own." Have you heard your words?
Have your ears not filtered well each line?
Well let me not accuse the ears for the wrong of the heart anymore,
but has your heart been filled with so much hate that you now have a thicker spine?

But wait, which one is your motherland?
The one oyinbo* carved out,
or the land upon which your mothers laid in rest,
or that upon which you broke palm kernels.

The scenes of war must not be felt...
not by me,
not by anyone.

My maami** is Ibo,
and my pupsi*** Igala.
Shall i now be deprived of a mother because of a call to return to motherland?
And when she has...
shall she now be deprived of her children when the war is come?
You who speak of war-
Do you know what war is?
Have you seen war with no lives lost?
Do you know that war never ends qiuetly?
Or you believe land upon which blood is shed is more motherland?

Which motherland do I then claim?
that of maami?
or that of pupsi?
or that which I have lived and known as home?

The pen is mightier than the sword,
and these words than your thoughts.
So I will tell you what will not happen-
You will not disturb the peace in my heart for this nation.
You will not deprive me of Enugu's Ninth Mile Okpa****.
You will not restrict the ones I love within the confines of a line you will draw and call a border.

If you however insist on war,
then I agree.
"Let there be war-
On you who raise banners ready for war,
you who give and spread wicked counsel,
who have filled streets with the slain.
On you,
Let there be war!" - Ogboyi Caleb Onuche_Iam .
#OneNigeria #WarNeverEndsQuietly #GoodPeopleGreatNation * Oyibo or Oyinbo is a word used in Nigerian Pidgin, Igbo and Yoruba to refer to caucasians. In Nigeria, it is generally used to refer to a person of European descent or people perceived to not be culturally African.

THE KING 👑 OF PRANKS IS COMING TO YOUR CITY!!!!! 😂

OK guys so we are taking this to a new and even more exciting dimension. We have done quite a number pranks in Lagos and it's obvious that people within and out side Nigeria 🇳🇬 consume a lot of Nigerian pranks content. Do you know how nice it would feel when u see some one being pranked in front of your house 🏡? 😋So therefore we have decided to take "Nigerian pranks" from Lagos to every part of Nigerian and beyond thereby selling made in Nigerian pranks to the world . We will be traveling to the 36 states of Nigeria and beyond to strategically execute different pranks ideas as it would relate to the cultures and traditions of the people and state at large.

I have always believed in doing things the different way and here I'm daring to differ once again. #prankstourwithmakopolo will open a lot of relationships between different brands and the people of a particular state as we intend to bring in different strategies that would be the headline attention for a period of time.
So tell us where you want our tour bus to go first 😎😎. We are open to collaborate with brands and individuals who are willing to be a part of this project as it promises to be fun all the way.

For a while, I have been on this question "do you know afro trap soul". Well that's simply because I intend introducing this genre, soul music is simply a fusion of gospel and rhythm & blues into a form of funky, secular testifying catchy rhythms, stressed by handclaps and extemporaneous body moves which according rock and roll hall of fame rose out of black experience in America, while trap is typified by its ominous sound that incorporate double or triple-time sub-divided hi-hats, heavy kick drums from a Roland TR-808, layered synthesizers, and "cinematic" strings. The term "trap" initially referred to places where drug deals take place.
Afrobeat is a music genre which developed in the 1970s out of a combination of West African musical styles, such as Fuji music and highlife with American funk and jazz, with a focus on chanted vocals and percussion. The genre features chants, call-and-response vocals, and complex, interacting rhythms. The term was coined by Nigerian multi-instrumentalist and bandleader Fela Kuti who popularised the style both within and outside Nigeria. It was partially borne out of an attempt to distinguish Fela Kuti's music from the "soul music" of American artists such as James Brown. I intend blending all this things into one, giving soul trap music an amazing African vibe, do well to keep your eye on this page, as I am set to bring AFRO TRAP SOUL. - Marvelle_muzik. Growing up in Nigeria...I didn't know many people who said 'When I grow up I want to be a writer' those were the kind of ambitions that typically led to poverty because who would pay you😩😩😩.
.
When I decided I was going to write a book I NEEDED it to be commercially successful so I mostly did the unconventional so I could monetize my craft.
.
When @bambooks.io which is basically netflix for African books approached me to put my book on their platform I was skeptical because giving the official e-copy of my book to a Nigerian platform demanded a serious amount of trust because PIRACY 😩😩😩 .
.
Well my book had already been pirated..people had already been selling it on whatsapp for N1000, opening instagram pages to sell a book they did not write or BUY.fowarding it to their friends for FREE and even tagging me on the reviews of their PDF copies...it was painfu!!! Still is.
.
So at this point I didnt have anything to lose..plus I knew the founders and the other tech businesses they had scaled to millions of dollars so I had some faith and believed in the long term growth prospects of their model.. plus they didn't care that the book had already been pirated..they were only concerned with the untapped demand for 'The Smart Money Woman'. So I signed up with them
.
I've only been with them for a few months so when I got this cheque I laughed in Bini... but they had pushed the book on their platform with alot of online ads and promotions. This is my own share from people reading the book on their platform so far..
.
.Anyway the hardcopy of my book is N5000 and $25 outside of Nigeria...for some people that is expensive so @bambooks.io is perfect because for just N350 a month you can read 20 books a month!!! And this way you are not ripping off home grown talent.... CLICK ON THE LINK IN MY BIO to sign up

Davis (An African American Woman ministers to Igbos after The Biafra War)
Under one of my videos concerning Hebrews in Africa a sister named Lena Davis commented about her mother visiting Biafra years ago and I asked for more info, here is what I received: Evangelist Martha P. Davis was saddened by what she saw happen in the Nigerian Civil War. So she visited Umuahia, in the village of Umuda Isingwu in Igboland in 1976 (and made several journey's there until about 1994). She had written a Tract called, "The Art of Suffering", and the Pastor (now late, Rev. Sande Ogunka) of a Church there read it (we don't know how he got it), and he asked her to come. She had no organization backing her, nor church. She went leaving all 10 of her children (including a 15 month old) in the care of one another and a friend to do what Yah asked her to do. When she returned about four months later, she had much to say about their strong faith, brilliance, music and culture. It's a long journey and story. Using shortwave radio she had a radio show in Nigeria until 2007. She is still alive at age 81 but has health challenges pray for her. Many of do not know the Mothers in Zion who went before us, some even think we have no Mothers in Israel. The wise woman knows she is not the first or last to do something for Yah and can pay respect to others he has used before. Many say Africans and African Americans never tried to connect with each other but that’s because those in power will never allow certain stories to be told. We have to tell our stories. Today Evangelist Davis and her daughter Lena know their Hebrew Heritage. Today I honor Mother Evangelist Martha P. Davis by telling her story. 👑Evangelist Martha P. Davis #SayHerName👑
