Rustic Strawberry Galette with a wholemeal olive oil crust
Crust:
1 1/2 cup of wholemeal wheat flour
1/2 cup of cold water
1/4 cup of olive oil

Strawberry filling:

1 large punnet (500gr) of strawberries rinsed and dried
1 tbsp of arrowroot
1 tbsp of coconut sugar
1. Preheat oven to 180 degrees Celsius.
2. Rinse and dry your strawberries then cut off the greens and slice them in 2 or 3.
3. Mix in a bowl with coconut sugar and arrowroot powder. Leave them in a bowl for 10 minutes to release some juice and make your galette less watery.
4. While the strawberry filling rest make your dough by mixing in a bowl the flour, cold water and olive oil until it forms the dough.
5. Between 2 sheets of baking paper, roll your dough in a large flat circle shape using a rolling pin and place on an oven tray.
6. Remove the strawberry juice and assemble your galette by spreading the strawberries in the middle of your crust.
7. Fold the edges in a rustic manner overlapping and cook the galette in the oven for 35-45 minutes at 180 degrees. .

Sweet potato waffles (8 big waffles, I used one cup of mixture for each)
-8 eggs.

-1/2 cup coconut sugar.
-2 tablespoons of cinnamon.
-1/4 cup unsweetened almond milk.
-3 tablespoons of chia seeds.
-1 tablespoon of reduced sodium baking powder.
Start by placing the eggs inside your blender or food processor, then add the rest of the ingredients mixing one by one. Cook at low heat inside your waffle maker, that’s it! So easy 😜
Let me know if you try them!
P.S: to unfreeze simply put the waffles inside the fridge the night before, and then heat them up in the microwave or oven ☺️

Estos los congelaré y usaré como parte de mi preparación de comidas #dayafitnessmealprep durante esas semanas en las que aún me esté adaptando a mi bebé recién nacida😜
Waffles de batata (8 waffles grandes, usé una taza de mezcla para cada uno)
-8 huevos
-2 tazas de puré de batata/camote
-2 tazas de avena en hojuelas -1/2 taza de azúcar de coco
-2 cucharadas de canela
-1/4 taza de leche de almendra sin azúcar
-3 cucharadas de semillas de chia
-1 cucharada de polvo de hornear bajo en sodio
Comiencen colocando los huevos dentro de su licuadora o procesador de alimentos, luego agreguen el resto de los ingredientes mezclando uno a la vez. Cocinen a temperatura baja dentro de su máquina para hacer gofres/waffles, eso es todo! Súper fácil 😜

P.S: para descongelar, simplemente coloquen los waffles en la nevera la noche anterior y luego calienten en el microondas o en el horno ☺️.

Ingredients (2-3 servings):
1 lb wild-caught ahi tuna steaks
1/4 cup coconut aminos
1/2 large naval orange, juiced
1 tsp orange zest
1 tsp ginger, grated
1 tsp sesame oil
Salt and pepper, as desired .

Wasabi cream sauce:
1/2 cup full-fat coconut milk
3 tsp wasabi paste
1 tsp ginger, grated
1 garlic clove, minced
1/2 tsp sesame oil
Salt, to taste .

Garnish with sesame seeds and scallions
Drizzle in coconut aminos and sriracha (optional)

Directions:
In a large bowl or container mix together the coconut aminos, juice and zest from orange, ginger and sesame oil. Add in the ahi tuna and marinate it for 1-3 hours.

For the wasabi cream sauce in a small sauce pan sauté the ginger and garlic in sesame oil about 30 seconds then add in the coconut milk. Bring the sauce to a boil constantly stirring it until thickened. Set the heat to low. I just used wasabi powder and added a little water to form a paste. Add as much or as little wasabi depending on your spice preference! Add the wasabi to the sauce then season it with salt to taste. Set the sauce aside in a bowl. This sauce is soooo good 😍

Heat a cast iron skillet on high heat. Remove the ahi tuna from the marinade. Season each side of the fish with salt and pepper. Add 1 tbsp of oil to the hot skillet and sear each side of the tuna for 1 1/2-2 minutes depending on the thickness and how rare or seared you want it. I added in the marinade to the skillet and it made a nice glaze over the tuna.
Remove the fish from the pan and allow it to rest a few minutes. Slice the tuna in thin pieces once rested. Serve topped with sesame seeds, scallions the wasabi cream sauce and a side of jasmine rice! I added additional coconut aminos on top with a little sriracha and it was 🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼 Enjoy!

Recipe is as follows: in a large skillet or pot, heat 2 Tbsp coconut oil. Add 1 chopped onion, 1 diced red pepper and 3 shredded carrots. Sauté until soft, then add 1 lb of ground grass fed beef or bison or elk (or ground pastured chicken or turkey), along with the following spices: 1 tsp sea salt, 1/2 tsp turmeric, 1/2 cumin, 1/4 tsp ginger, dash each of pepper and crushed red peppers. Stir and cook until the meat is no longer pink. Add one small head of cabbage, thinly sliced (or shredded), continuing to sauté until the cabbage is wilted. Add 1 large can of diced tomatoes (800 ml) with liquid, and heat to bubbling, then reduce heat and simmer for 30 minutes or more. Serve up in a bowl, optionally over rice.

If you watched my stories last night then you’ll know that I’ve officially declared this as THE BEST dessert recipe I’ve ever made 🤤 Seriously though... my first bite brought me to the ultimate food heaven & this is coming from someone who doesn’t have much of a sweet tooth 😳

👉 The best part is that this recipe only requires 8 ingredients! Simply blend up:
✧ 1 cup @thesourcebulkfoods raw cashews (soaked overnight or for 30 mins in boiling water)
✧ 1/4 cup @loving_earth cacao butter, melted
✧ 1/4 cup coconut oil, melted
✧ 1/2 cup light agave syrup (or maple)
✧ 1/4 cup @purecocobella coconut yogurt
✧ 1/2 cup @tropeaka salted caramel lean protein (hands down best tasting protein ever)
✧ 1/3 cup coconut milk
✧ 1/4 tsp salt
✨ Then spoon into moulds & pop into the fridge until set! I also just found out that they stay at room temp without melting at all so here’s to an even bigger win 😎🎉

1. My hair hasn’t always been curly, it changed around the time I was going through puberty. I love it and think it’s something that makes me unique.

4. I stand around 5’4 ft tall, I rarely weigh myself and just go off how I feel.

6. I love dreams. Recently had a dream about 3 ladies putting veneers on my mom and little sister. Not sure what it means but thought it was interesting.

7. Up until recently slept with a salt lamp on each night since the dark did literally scare me. But the light bulb burnt out last month and I have been sleeping in full darkness. And now feel much more comfortable in the dark.

10 medjool dates (pitted)

Method:
1. Blend all base ingredients in a food processor until sticky. Press flat into the base of a square or rectangular flan tin that has a push out base or silicone moulding tray.
2. Blend all cheesecake ingredients in a high speed blender until very smooth and creamy. Pour over base and freeze over night!
3. Cut into squares and enjoy!

WHAT YOU NEED:
- 2 medium spaghetti squash (6-7 inches long)
- 2 cups of cooked shredded chicken*
- 1 cup freshly grated cheddar and/or mozzarella cheese
- 1/3 cup Frank's Red Hot sauce
- 2 TBSP melted butter
- 1/3 cup Greek yogurt
- 1 jalapeno, diced (seeds, stem, + veins removed)
- 1/4 cup chopped green onion, divided
- salt and pepper, to taste
- ranch or blue cheese dressing for drizzling, optional
- extra grated cheese for topping
NOTE: this recipe used 1lb of bone-in skin-on chicken thighs (super juicy!) but you can use anything you have on hand and use your favorite method: crockpot, rotissere, baked, poached... this recipe is a great use for leftover chicken too!

GET COOKIN:
1. Pre-heat oven to 400 degrees F.
2. Slice your spaghetti squash in half lengthwise and scoop out the seeds. For easy cutting, feel free to stick each squash in the microwave for 5 minutes to soften it up just a tad. The knife slides through way easier this way!
3. Next grab a lipped baking sheet or a rimmed baking dish and line with foil.
4. To prevent sticking, rub the cut side of the squash with a teeny bit of olive oil and place face down on your baking sheet.
5. Roast for 30-40 minutes, or until tender and easily pierced with a fork. Cooking time will vary a bit depending on the size of your squash, and the exterior of the squash will be visibly softened.
6. The squash can be roasted and stored in the fridge for a few days if you'd like to meal prep and plan ahead for a speedier dinner.
7. While the squash roast, cook chicken via your favorite method or squirrel away leftovers from the previous night's dinner.
8. Shred your chicken and combine in a medium bowl with your cheese, hot sauce, melted butter, Greek yogurt, jalapeño, green onion, salt, and pepper.
9. Using a fork, scrape the spaghetti squash bowls to release the delicious strands of squash and mix with your cheesy buffalo chicken mixture.
10. Top each squash with a little extra cheese and place face-up on your baking sheet.

Very berry Popsicles via @emilyenchantednm 🍇🍓 Recipe
2 C fresh diced strawberries
1 C fresh blueberries
½ C water divided
1/4 C + 4 T honey divided
2 C plain whole milk yogurt
¼ C honey
½ C fresh lemon juice about 4 lemons

Instructions
1. Boil strawberries, ¼ cup of water and 2 tablespoons of honey. Then lower heat to simmer for 2 minutes.
2. Remove from heat and let cool. Blend till smooth. Pour puree into a bowl.
3. Rinse out the pan and blender. Add blueberries, ¼ cup water and 2 tablespoons honey to the pan. Boil, then lower heat to simmer for 2 minutes.
4. Remove from heat, let cool & then blend. Transfer to a second bowl to cool.
5. In a medium bowl, combine yogurt, 1/4 cup of honey and lemon juice. Whisk until smooth. Add half a cup of yogurt mixture to the strawberry puree and another half a cup to the blueberry puree. Stir until smooth.
6. Fill your popsicle molds a third of the way with strawberry puree, then a third of the way with the yogurt, then the rest of the way with blueberry puree. You can reverse the order to create variety.
7. Freeze for 1 hour. Remove from freezer and add popsicle sticks. Return to the freezer for 6-8 hours or over night.
8. Run popsicle mold under warm water to loosen popsicles.

Serves 4
{For the spaghetti squash Prep}
Cut a medium spaghetti squash in half, scoop out seeds.
Very lightly coat the inside with olive oil. Bake at 375 degrees f skin side up, on a flat sheet pan for about 45 minutes.
Cool just a bit
Use a fork to shred "spaghetti" out of the skin. Use paper towels to soak up moisture just a bit.
{For the Skillet}
Ingredients:
1 tsp extra virgin olive oil
1 lb lean ground Beef(grass fed, if possible) or lean ground Turkey
1 small yellow onion, diced
3 cloves garlic, minced
1/4 cup diced green bell pepper
1/2 cup sliced mushrooms
2 (14.5 oz) cans organic diced tomatoes, OR 3 cups FRESH diced tomatoes
1 (15 oz) organic tomato sauce
2 Tbsp fresh parsley
2 tsp dried basil
1/2 tsp dried oregano
Sea salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste
Sprinkling of all-natural parmesan cheese (optional, omit for dairy-free)

Instructions:
Heat large skillet over medium-high heat. Once hot, crumble in meat and cook until browned, stirring occasionally. Drain fat, set cooked meat aside.
Heat olive oil in skillet, once hot and add onion & green peppers and saute until tender, about 3 minutes, adding in garlic & mushrooms during last 30 seconds of sauteing. Pour in diced tomatoes, and sauce. Stir in fresh parsley, the basil, oregano, and season with salt and pepper to taste. Bring just to a gentle boil then add cooked spaghetti squash noodles and cooked meat, stir and submerge noodles in liquid, then reduce heat to a simmer for 2 minutes until heated through.
Garnish with fresh chopped basil and a touch of parmesean, serve warm.

In a food processor, take your soaked chickpeas and pulse a few times until a nut-like form is created. TIP: It’s important to PULSE and not to blend.

1/4 cup olive oil, divided
2 pounds beef sirloin tip roast, cut into 1/2-inch cubes
2 teaspoons kosher salt
1 teaspoon coarsely ground pepper
2 cups finely chopped sweet onion
2 medium sweet potatoes, cut into 1-inch pieces
2 cans (14-1/2 ounces each) Italian stewed tomatoes, undrained
3 fresh thyme sprigs
2 fresh rosemary sprigs
1 carton (32 ounces) beef broth
4 cups fresh green beans, trimmed and cut into 2-inch pieces
2 cups (about 10 ounces) frozen corn
2 ounces bittersweet chocolate, chopped
3 tablespoons strong brewed coffee
Additional salt and pepper, optional
Corn bread, biscuits or crusty round loaf of bread, optional
Directions
In a Dutch oven or stockpot, heat 2 tablespoons oil over medium-high heat. Season beef with salt and pepper; brown in batches, adding oil as needed. Remove with a slotted spoon. Add onion and sweet potatoes to pan. Cook, stirring occasionally, until onion is translucent and light golden brown.
Meanwhile, puree tomatoes and their juices in a blender or food processor. Place thyme and rosemary on a double thickness of cheesecloth. Gather corners of cloth to enclose herbs; tie securely with string.
Return beef to pan; add herb bag, tomatoes and broth. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat; simmer, covered, until meat and potatoes are tender, about 1 hour.
Add green beans, corn, chocolate and coffee, stirring until well blended. Discard herb bag. If desired, add salt and pepper and serve with bread of choice. . . . . .

Happy Sunday!
After mine and @justinscottgordon’s heart rate stayed in the red zone during that @appstate_fb game yesterday, I decided to get in the kitchen and make a late-night post workout snack 😂
INGREDIENTS
3 eggs (I love Vital Farms pasture raised organic eggs)
1/4 cup coconut sugar
1/3 cup maple syrup
2 tb coconut flour
2 tb melted coconut oil
1 1/4 cup nut butter of choice (I love NutZo & gives bit of crunchiness)
1/4 tsp salt
1 bar >70% cacoa chocolate bar (I love Endangered Species- use 2 bars if you want to drizzle some on top)

INSTRUCTIONS
Preheat oven to 350.
Coat inside of 8x8 baking dish with melted coconut oil (1 tbsp)
In a small bowl, whisk together the 3 eggs and set aside.
Next, melt one bar of chocolate. You can do this using the fancy double boiler method, but to save time, I just use the good old fashioned microwave, microwaving in 30 second increments.
In a medium size bowl, whisk together the coconut sugar, maple syrup, melted coconut oil, melted chocolate, eggs, salt, and nut butter, until you the batter is almost clump free.
Last, stir in the coconut flour.
Pour batter evenly into the baking dish. 
Bake for 25-26 minutes. 
Cut into 16 squares.

CALIFORNIA STEAK SALAD WITH CHIMICHURRI DRESSING

INGREDIENTS
1.25lb flank steak
1 tablespoon olive oil
salt & pepper to season
8 oz. fresh arugula
1 red onion, sliced into 1″ rings (keep them together you’re going to grill them)
1lb. asparagus, trimmed
1 pint of assorted cherry tomatoes, halved
1 avocado, sliced

CHIMICHURRI DRESSING:
1 garlic clove
1 cup fresh cilantro
2 tablespoon red wine vinegar
1 tablespoon lime juice
3 tablespoons olive oil
1/4 teaspoon smoked paprika
1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes
salt & pepper to taste

INSTRUCTIONS
Preheat grill to medium high heat.
Season asparagus and onion rings with olive oil and salt.
Place asparagus and onion rings on grill. Grill the asparagus for 4-5 minutes and remove. Grill the onion rings for 4-5 minutes per side until char marks appear. Remove and set aside.
Add 1 tablespoon of olive to flank steak, rub into both side. Season both sides with salt & pepper.
Place flank steak on the grill. Grill each side for 3-5 minutes. Let rest for 5 minutes before slicing. (make sure you slice it against the grain)
While the steak is resting add the following to a small food processor: a garlic clove, fresh cilantro, red wine vinegar, olive oil, lime juice, smoked paprika, red pepper flakes, salt & pepper. Blend until smooth and looks like a dressing.
Assemble the salad, add fresh arugula, grilled red onion slices, asparagus, cherry tomatoes, sliced avocado, and sliced flank steak to a large serving platter. Serve with Chimichurri Dressing on the side! Garnish with a lime.

You name a dessert and I made a smoothie that tasted just like it ( HEY I SWEAR THEY ARE EFFING GOOD! 🤩) Sticky toffee pudding smoothie with a protein packed vanilla chia pudding on the other side to balance it out 😉 Enjoy and have a fab weekend friends 💃🏻
Recipe to serve 2

1 large frozen banana
4 sticky medjool dates
2 tbs smooth almond butter
1 tbs coconut sugar
1 cup almond milk
1 tbs maca powder
Pinch of cinnamon
1/4 tsp vanilla powder
Blend until smooth and creamy

Chia pudding:
1/4 cup of chia seeds
3/4 cup of coconut milk
3 tbs creamy coconut yogurt
1 tsp vanilla extract
2 tbs maple syrup
Mix all ingredients together except the coconut yogurt. Leave to soak for an hour then mix well again to separate all the clumps of chia. Then add the coconut yogurt mix again and leave in the fridge for another hour or two. Be sure to prepare ahead of time so it’s ready for when you want to eat it. I often make mine the night before if it’s for breakfast. Once desired consistency serve with your smoothie and add some goodies on top if you have a sweet tooth like me 😍🍭

طريقة التحضير

1 .في مقلاة واسعة ضعي الزبدة وضعي المقلاة على نار متوسطة ثم أضيفي البصل الأخضر وقلبي إلى أن يلين قليلا ثم أضيفي الثوم والزنجبيل، قلبي إلى أن تتصاعد رائحة الزنجبيل والثوم.
2 .أضيفي الجزر، الدجاج، البهار، الملح، الفلفل، الكزبرة والشطة. قلبي على نار قوية لعدة دقائق. دعي خليط الدجاج ليبرد قبل التشكيل.
3 .باستعمال النشابة مدي شرائح التوست لتصبح رقيقة.
4 .أحضري أداة تشكيل الفطائر. ضعي قليل من الماء البارد في طبق صغير.
5 .ضعي شريحة من التوست في القطاعة، بللي حواف شريحة التوست بقليل من الماء. ضعي مقدار ملعقة كبيرة من الحشو في وسط شريحة التوست. أقفلي طرفي الأداة على شريحة التوست مع الضغط عليها كي تنفصل حواف التوست الزائدة.
6 .في مقلاة عميقة ضعي مقدار من الزيت بحيث يكون بارتفاع ٢ بوصة تقريبا. يمكنك استعمال المقلاة الكهربائية أيضا. ضعي المقلاة على نار متوسطة ليسخن الزيت تماما.
7 .إقلي فطائر الدجاج إلى أن تصبح ذهبية اللون. أخرجي فطائر الدجاج من الزيت، ضعي على قطعة من ورق المطبخ لتتخلص من الزيت الفائض. قدمي مباشرة

preheat your oven to 350 degrees. cream together the butter, sugars, & espresso powders. add the egg & vanilla and mix until combined. add in the flour, baking powder/soda, & sea salt. mix well & then stir in the chocolate & toffee.

roll cookies into balls (makes about 20-24 depending on the size you like!) and bake for 12 minutes until golden brown. sprinkle with sea salt, let cool & enjoy!🙌🏻

I like to make these pancakes when I’m meal prepping for the week. Once they are ready I wait for them to cool, then I separate my portions in ziploc bags and freeze them. When I want to eat them, I just take them out of the freezer and put in the microwave for 1 minute. The right way to unfreeze them ... The right way to unfreeze them is to first put them in the fridge and then reheat, but sometimes I forget to take them out the night before 🙈, so there you have both options.
P.S. They last me up to 2 months, I normally try to eat what I freeze before that time 😜. Food doesn’t lose its properties when it’s properly packed and stored (I’m following my nutritionist advices).
Blend the following ingredients and cook on a pan at medium heat:
-4 eggs
-3 bananas
-1 cup of oatmeal -4 tablespoons of chia
-1/4 cup of unsweetened almond milk -Cinnamon to taste
Use some fruit, sugar free syrup, PB or whatever you want as a topping 😜

Me gusta hacer estos panqueques cuando preparo la comida para la semana. Una vez que están listos espero a que estén fríos, separo mis porciones en bolsas ziploc y las congelo. Cuando quiero comerlos, simplemente los saco del congelador y los pongo 1 minuto en el microondas. La forma correcta de descongelarlos es ponerlos primero en el refrigerador y luego recalentar, pero a veces me olvido de sacarlos la noche anterior 🙈, así que allí tienen ambas opciones.
P.D: Me duran hasta 2 meses, normalmente trato de comer lo que congelo antes de ese tiempo 😜. Los alimentos no pierden sus propiedades cuando se empacan y almacenan adecuadamente (estoy siguiendo las recomendaciones de mi Nutricionista).
Licúen los siguientes ingredientes y cocinen en una sartén a fuego medio:
-4 huevos
-3 bananas maduras -1 taza de avena
-4 cucharadas de chia
-1/4 taza de leche de almendras sin azúcar
-Canela al gusto
Pueden usar frutas, syrup sin azúcar, mantequilla de maní o lo que deseen como topping 😜

Growing up Halloween was one of my favorite holidays. 🎃

I struggled this year with deciding what to do with this holiday.

How do you let your 2 yr old toddler enjoy the holiday festivities with his friends, without having to give in to all those candies? All the refined sugar, artificial coloring, fructose corn syrup, and other crap that's in there?
I've never given Tyler any conventional candy and for a good reason.

But last night during trick or treating, just as expected he begged for some.
He only had 2 small Reese's and a lollipop.
It's no surprise that he crashed at the end of the night, threw a tantrum during bath time, and stayed up until 11pm. He's never stayed up that late before!

Sure, it's terrible 2's they say. But let's be honest here. I'm convinced that all that sugar amplified his erratic behavior.
We've all felt that sugar crash, even as adults. A small piece of Snickers can give me the worse heartburn. Can you imagine what it can do to a tiny human 1/4 my size?
It has a lingering effect too- so the mood swings and fatigue continued on to today!

So what did I do to help #detox even the tiny bit of poison that's in his body?

First of all, I'm not going to continue to stress about it since stressing from the guilt can also be detrimental to the immune system. To counterbalance this effect, I gave him: 1) 🍏🍐🌿🌱 a green protein smoothie the next morning to help detox all that crap out of his system. 2) high quality probiotics to reset his microbiome 3) coconut water to hydrate, and 4) bonebroth to strengthen immune system bc sugar actually decreases it 5)the usual multi-vitamins from @DrAmyMeyers

In the meantime, I hid all the Halloween candy he collected. 🙈 #sorrybutnotsorry

I'll have a better game plan next year.

This is the rice dish I made on my stories last night that a lot of you guys have messaged me for. Arroz Con Pollo y Garbanzos (Rice with Chicken & Chick Peas) It's a quick, simple meal. We ate it with cucumber, tomatoes & red onion. Avocado would be GREAT with this too. 2 cups rice (I like to use jasmine) 1 ... 2 cups rice (I like to use jasmine)
1 lb chicken breast or thighs, cubed
1can chick peas, drained
Sofrito (my recipe below...‼️IMPORTANT: do not use the entire jar of sofrito for one batch of rice! Maybe divide it into thirds or even 1/4ths. So use about 1/4-1/3 of it for the rice. You can use the remainder in soups, stews, beans or meats‼️ Or freeze it in ice cube trays & just pop a few out when you want to use them)
Turmeric
Spanish paprika
Italian seasoning
Goya Adobo seasoning (the one with cumin, green top...does not have msg)
Pepper to taste
Olives, if desired
In a pot add some extra virgin olive oil. Saute sofrito, turmeric & paprika (this will give it that nice color). Combining the paprika with turmeric does the trick & not to mention turmeric has so many benefits. Then add some Italian seasoning, adobo & olives. Next add the chicken breast or thighs. Stir & cook for a few minutes. Add the garbanzo beans. Add the rice & stir everything up. Then add enough water to cover the rice...I use approx 3 1/2 cups of water. Cook covered on low for approx 25 minutes.
✨For Sofrito:
You'll need 1 bunch of fresh cilantro (cleaned), garlic cloves (can use the whole bulb), 1 medium or large onion, half a red & green pepper (or use a whole green or red), a little drizzle of good quality extra virgin olive oil & I always add a jalapeño, but that’s optional. Blend in blender or processor.

Chowhound Intense Brownies:
6 ounces bittersweet chocolate (not unsweetened)
8 tablespoons unsalted butter (1 stick)
2 large eggs, at room temperature
1 cup granulated sugar
1 tablespoon unsweetened cocoa powder
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 teaspoon brewed espresso (optional)
1/4 teaspoon plus 1/8 teaspoon fine salt
1 cup all-purpose flour

1. Heat the oven to 350°F and arrange a rack in the middle. Line an 8-by-8-inch glass baking dish with aluminum foil.
2. Combine the chocolate and butter in a medium saucepan and cook over medium-low heat, stirring frequently, until evenly melted. Remove from the heat and let cool to room temperature.
3. Combine the eggs, sugar, cocoa powder, vanilla, espresso (if using), and salt in a large bowl and briefly stir until just evenly incorporated. Add the cooled chocolate and mix until uniform in color. Add the flour and stir until just incorporated (no white streaks should remain).
4. Transfer the batter to the prepared baking dish and bake until a tester inserted into the center of the brownies comes out clean, about 25 to 30 minutes. Remove from the oven and let cool completely before cutting.
5. Eat and enjoy all night long!

I may post at weird hours of the night because I don’t like to take time away from my kiddos, but if you can bear with my weird hours it will be worth it. ;) YOU GUYS!!!! This was probably the best chicken I have ever made and my hubby agreed. (And all five of my kids devoured it... such a win.) I found the recipe on @allrecipes so I need to make sure to give credit to the cook. Look up “Rosemary Ranch Chicken Kabobs” on the Allrecipes app, but recipe is below as well. I don’t want to forgot this one! 👇🏼 -
1/2 cup ranch
1/2 cup olive oil
3 T Worcestershire sauce
1 T minced fresh rosemary (I used dry today and it turned out great)
1 T sugar
2 tsp salt
1 tsp vinegar
1 tsp lemon juice
1/4 tsp pepper -
(I was generous with all the seasoning!) -
Mix all above ingredients in a medium sized bowl. Cut chicken into 1 inch pieces and marinate in the sauce for an hour, and then put chicken on skewers. Bbq low and slow, turning frequently and basting with extra sauce each time you turn them. The #ROSEMARY in this recipe is the magic ingredient. Oh my gosh so good. Enjoy!

✨Try it out for yourself✨
1️⃣ Cook your favourite @SanRemoPasta according to package instructions. I used a mix of their chickpea pulse pasta & gluten-free spirals!
2️⃣ In a blender or food processor, add in 2 packed cups fresh basil, 2 large garlic cloves, 1 tbsp lemon juice, 1/4 cup hemp seeds, 1/4 cup pine nuts & 3 tbsp nutritional yeast and blend until a thick paste forms.
3️⃣ With the motor still running, gradually pour in 1/2 cup extra virgin olive oil. Finally add a generous pinch of salt (to taste) & some freshly ground black pepper.
4️⃣ Add pesto to the cooked pasta and stir until evenly coated. Serve & enjoy! 🍃

I had these 10 gallon #NoTill containers left seemingly dormant since a few harvests ago but needed to get them going again for some seed hunting so, last night I sprayed them with some #ModernBeginnings and today they were already full of #mycellium consuming the dead organic matter healing the old soil. I could almost smell all that free CO2 wafting about... The recipe is from @modern_cannabist which was posted on his website, it goes a little something like this: per 5 gallon bucket with 4 gallons clean water, brew 1/3 c of kelp meal for 24hrs. At 22hrs in, add an Alfalfa SST at half strength or in my case I use powdered(ground) malted barley at 1/4 c per 4 gallons of kelp brew. When that’s finished the last 2hrs of brew time(now you’re at a total of 24hrs) you can now add 5oz of EM-1 or LAB, a 1/2oz of Ful-Power and 4 tsps of Modern Microbes or Lush Roots, as I used this time, stir together and then strain and apply with a pump sprayer if possible. For the dressing:
1/4 cup of tahini sauce
2 tbs of rice vinegar
2 tbs of liquid aminos
2 tbs of water
1 tbs of sesame oil
1 tbs of agave
3/4 tsp of garlic powder
For the salad:
Rice noodles
Spiralized rainbow carrots
Sliced red and yellow bell peppers
Sliced purple cabbage
Sliced green onions
Fresh cilantro
Directions
1. Combine all ingredients for dressing into a blender. Blend until creamy smooth.
2. In plateware of choice pile on all ingredients for salad and garnish with sesame seeds and fresh squeezed lime.

The Nationals came out of the dugout with vengeance after losing 3-2 yesterday, scoring all nine of their runs in the first four innings. Cubs ace Jon Lester, who owned a 3.44 ERA before today, was knocked out of the game in the fourth inning. Zimmerman homered twice off him, and Daniel Murphy added another. Ever since Zimmerman returned from the disabled list on July 20, he's been one of our hottest hitters. He got us on the board with a two-run homer in the first inning, added a sacrifice fly in the third, and then put the cherry on top with a three-run homer in the fourth to make it 9-1. When Zim is hot, there's no stopping him or the Nationals. Daniel Murphy also played a big part in the win, going 3-for-4 to raise his average to .308 as he continues to punish the Cubs. Goodby August 👊🏼 HELLO fall racing season! Who is ready for it?! ✨🙌🏻 Here’s some tips for racing:
✨Night Before✨
1- Lay out your running outfit (socks, shirts, gloves, arm warmers, shoes, etc) make sure you have everything out and ready for no surprises

2- Make sure your garmin is charged or charging. Do you have a backup plan in case your garmin malfunctions? App on your phone? Stop watch? Don’t care? Be prepared

3-Set your alarm for the correct time. Mentally plan out your morning. How long does it take you to 💩💩 after drinking coffee? How long do you need to digest food? How long will it take you to drive there, etc?

4- Once steps 1-3 are done, try not to think about the race. There will be plenty of time waiting around before the race for that. Turn the TV on and read a book
✨Morning of Big run or Race✨

1- Get out of bed immediately, don’t press snooze!

2- If you usually have coffee or something to drink in the morning, I would do that right away to wake your body up and get things “flowing”… DON’T TRY ANYTHING NEW! I also like to eat right away with that so my body has more time to digest before I begin running
3- Use the bathroom MULTIPLE TIMES
4-Do a mental check before you leave your house. Do you have everything?

Gels? Bibs? water? hydration pack? extra layers? watch? Earbuds? Throw aways to keep you warm before? snacks? protein shake for after? Ipod?

5- Make sure you get there early enough to use the bathroom or get your bib if needed.

This was yesterday's breakfast at work. I started at 5:30am so I made up overnight oats the night before to take with me! This is 1/4 cup oats, 1/3 cup chobani Greek yogurt, 1/3 cup almond milk, a handful of blueberries, 1/3 of a banana, sprinkle of cinnamon and 1.5 tbs chia seeds. I mixed it all ... This was yesterday's breakfast at work. I started at 5:30am so I made up overnight oats the night before to take with me!
This is 1/4 cup oats, 1/3 cup chobani Greek yogurt, 1/3 cup almond milk, a handful of blueberries, 1/3 of a banana, sprinkle of cinnamon and 1.5 tbs chia seeds. I mixed it all up, put it in an empty peanut butter jar, topped it with banana and pb2 powder and voila! A delicious easy breakfast to grab the next morning! 😋

The meal I haven’t skipped in about 3 years? Ha. I’m serious! I remember back in college making it ! Anyway. A 3 ingredient meal that will make you full & satisfied.
1. 1 scoop @1stphorm Level-1 milk chocolate protein powder
2. 2 Tbsp. All natural peanut butter
3. 1/4 cup unsweetened almond milk
*Mix those ingredients in a bowl until a fudge like texture. I place in the fridge to cool about 30 prior to eating 👌🏼 I don’t know about you but I love both chocolate & peanut butter and when combined— forget about it 🤤

The Cards bats were silent until the 8th when Paul DeJong would hit an opposite field Homer cutting the Tigers lead to 3-1. The following inning, Matt Carpenter would lead the inning off with a single, but Jose Martinez & Tyler O’Neill would each follow with strikeouts. Down to their final out, Marcell Ozuna would hit a Game-Tying 2-Run Homer off of Tigers Closer Shane Greene, tying the game at 3 apiece. Bud Norris then went on for the 9th & the inning started with a Matt Carpenter error, followed by a walk, a sac bunt, an intentional walk, then a Walk-Off wild pitch. Very tough loss but the Cards do remain in a Playoff Spot as the Dodgers fell to the Rockies, they remain 1 GB of the Cards for the 2nd Wild Card Spot. 2 .احضري صواني قصيرة الحافة، قطعي العجينة الى حوالي 30 قطعة ( حسب الرغبة)، افرديها الى اقراص صغيرة سميكة، ضعيها في الصواني، اتركيها ترتاح لبضع دقائق.
3 .الحشو: في طبق عميق ضعي اللحم، البهار، القرفة، الملح، الفلفل، دبس الرمان، الصنوبر والطماطم، قلبي الى ان تختلط المكونات.
4 .وزعي الحشو على الأقراص مع الضغط عليها قليلا لتمتلىء بالحشو.
5 .سخني الفرن لدرجة حرارة 210 س. ثبتي الرف الشبكي الآوسط.
6 .ادخلي الصواني الى الفرن واخبزي 10 – 12 دقيقة الى ان تتحمر ، قدميها دافئة

If you're not enjoying a big bowl of pasta occasionally, are you really living? Its debatable, but not a risk i'm willing to take, so I make sure I have pasta at least weekly. Which works out well, because I have joined @sanremopasta in their campaign to make Friday night pasta night- and I'm starting with this cheesy vegan roast capsicum and mushroom pasta with their chickpea pulse pasta. I used roast capsicum for the sauce but if you don't have any on hand you can easily swap it for roast pumpkin or sweet potato- both work really well.
This simple recipe is a great way to add veggies into your meals, and do quick and easy you’ll make it time and again.
Ingredients
1/2 red capsicum,
1/2 brown onion, roughly chopped
2-3 cloves garlic
1/2 cup raw cashews, soaked 1 hour in hot water
1/2 cup veggie stock
1 tsp lemon juice
1 Tbsp hulled tahini
1/4 cup nutritional yeast (optional)

Method

1. Place capsicum, garlic and onion on a tray under the grill with a coating of olive oil, and cook until capsicum skin blackens. Remove from heat and peel skin of capsicum. Set aside.

2. Bring a 5L pot of water to the boil. Add 1 tsp salt, then cook desired @sanremopasta as per packet instructions.
3. While cooking, drain cashews and add to a blender with remaining ingredients. Blend on high until very smooth, then transfer to a small saucepan and heat over a low flame (be careful to stir consistently). 4. Once pasta is cooked, immediately drain, stir through sauce and top with cooked mushrooms, greens, avocado, vegan cheese or whatever you like.

@justjessieb with two steps closer to the ultimate Taco Tuesday feast: slow cooker barbacoa beef that has SO much flavor, and a tangy slaw! I love these piled up together in a “Whole30 Taco Bowl” with some cauliflower rice and lots of avocado & salsa on top. Both of these are excellent for prepping ahead and eating throughout the week- especially the beef! And did I mention it cooks in the slow cooker? So easy to prepare the night before or morning of, and cook while you’re busy doing your thing! —
Ingredients:
For the Barbacoa
- 2 to 3 lbs chuck roast
- 1 Tbsp cooking fat (I like avocado oil)
- 1 1/2 Tbsp cumin - 1 Tbsp dried oregano
- 2 tsp chipotle powder (omit or reduce if you don’t like spicy, leave it in for a “medium” heat)
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1/2 tsp cloves
- juice of 2 limes
- 1 cup beef broth (@kettleandfire makes my favorite & is compliant)
- 4 tsp minced garlic - 1 cup tomato sauce
For the Slaw
- 16 oz shredded slaw mix (I like a mix of green cabbage, purple cabbage, and carrots)
- 1 small jalapeño, seeds removed and finely diced
- 1/2 cup mayo
- 1/4 cup coconut milk (almond or cashew will work)
- 1/4 cup chopped cilantro
- 1 1/2 Tbsp apple cider vinegar
- juice of 2-3 limes
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper

Instructions:
For the Barbacoa
CUT the chuck roast into large chunks (about 3”).
HEAT the cooking fat in a large skillet over medium. Add the chunks of beef and brown for a couple of minutes per side (don’t worry about cooking through).
TRANSFER the meat to a slow cooker and add the remaining barbacoa ingredients. Give it a stir and set the slow cooker to cook on “low” for 8 hours or “high” for 6 hours.
SHRED the meat with two forks.
For the Slaw
COMBINE the mayo, coconut milk, apple cider vinegar, lime juice, and salt & pepper in a large mixing bowl, until smooth.
ADD the slaw, jalapeño, and cilantro to the dressing, and toss to combine.
REFRIGERATE to let the flavors merry until ready to serve.

Serves 4-6:
Ingredients:
Casserole:
6 small or 3 large croissants, cut into large cubes
1/4 cup chopped pecans
4 eggs
1/2 cup milk or cream
1/4 cup pure maple syrup
2 tablespoons granulated sweetener (I used organic cane sugar)
1/4 teaspoon salt
Pecan Caramel Sauce
1/2 cup butter
1/4 cup cream
1 cup packed brown sugar
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
1/2 cup chopped pecans
.
Instructions:
Place the cubed croissants on a baking sheet and place in a cold oven. Turn on to 350F to toast them for 10-15 minutes. Meanwhile, mix the remaining casserole ingredients in a bowl until combined.
When the croissants are toasted, add them to a baking dish and pour the egg mixture over top. (Cover & refrigerate if making the night before). If not, let it sit & soak for 30 minutes.
When ready to bake, heat oven to 350F and bake uncovered for 20-25 minutes until the tops are slightly crunchy and the mixture has set.
Meanwhile, in a saucepan over medium-high heat, melt together the butter, cream, brown sugar, and cinnamon, whisking often. When the butter is completely melted, bring to a low simmer, reduce heat to medium-low and simmer for another 5-10 minutes or until the sugar is dissolved. Stir in the pecans and set aside. You can heat it back up if it gets too thick, if needed.
When the casserole is finished, drizzle over some of the sauce before service. Serve hot or at room temperature with extra sauce on the side..

Discovered by our good friend & extremely talented local photographer @ben_broady, this Boab tree is so photogenic & made even more special by the Cockburn Ranges (left of frame). After Night 1 here we tried to stitch this panoramic image but to no avail, night 2 we discovered a way to stitch the pano but due to the isolated environment the shadow detail was difficult to bring up in Photoshop. AUGH! 😩

Never backing down to a challenge we tried one last night & this time with the @nikonaustralia 24mm f/1.4 (which performed so well in low light), we were able to stitch this bad boy & gain some incredible shadow detail. This is how you really test your gear & the Nikon D850 totally delivered!

Caramel pumpkin #Keto Cheesecake with Chocolate Crust! 🎃
Crust: 1 1/2 cup blanched almond flour, 3 tbsp cocoa powder, 5 tbsp monk fruit granulated blend (or swerve), 1.5 tsp vanilla extract, 1/4 tsp of salt and 1/3 cup of melted butter.
Cheesecake: 32 oz cream cheese, 3 large eggs, 1.5 tsp vanilla, 1/4 tsp salt, 1 cup of swerve, 4 packets of stevia.
Make the crust and press into a parchment lined cheesecake pan or square pan. Bake at 350 for 10-15 minutes. Let cool. Slowly whip together the cheesecake ingredients until smooth. Put HALF on top of the cooled crust. Then to the other half ADD 1/2 cup of pumpkin purée and 1.5 tsp of pumpkin pie spice. Mix together and then pour on top of the plain cheesecake. Bake at 350 degrees for 45-50 minutes.
Let cool for 4-6 hours or overnight before slicing.
Keto caramel recipe in comments. (Pour the semi cooled caramel on top of the cooled cheesecake before or after slicing and then top with Lily’s sugar free chocolate chips!)

Paleo Blueberry Muffins! We still have blueberries in season for a couple more weeks! Grain, dairy and refined-sugar free. I actually make these as dessert and I like that they are made of real food. So far they’ve been a hit with all ages.🍌🍐🍯 Ingredients:

2 cups @bobsredmill Paleo Flour (this is a mix of almond, coconut, arrowroot and tapioca. If this isn’t available, use all almond flour. A total of 2 3/4 cups of flour)

3/4 cup blanched almond flour

1 teaspoon baking soda

1/2 teaspoon sea salt

2 scoops collagen (I used @vitalproteins Marine Collagen)

1 1/2 teaspoons cinnamon

1/2 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice
1/3 cup coconut oil, melted but not hot

1 medium banana

1 ripe pear, quartered and cored (I used Bartlett)

3 pastured eggs

1/4 cup raw wildflower honey (I used @primalpastures)

1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla

1 pint (2 cups) organic blueberries

Preheat oven to 325.

In a medium bowl combine flours, baking soda, salt, collagen, cinnamon, pumpkin pie spice and collagen. Stir gently with a fork to combine. Set aside.

Melt coconut oil on low heat. Once oil is liquid, remove from heat immediately.

In a blender or Vitamix, blend the banana and pear until pureed. Set aside.

In a large bowl, lightly beat eggs with a hand mixer. Add fruit puree, oil, honey and vanilla. mix until well combined. Add flour mixture slowly and mix on medium until completely combined. Fold in blueberries.

Divide batter evenly in muffin tin (lined with cupcake liners or unbleached parchment paper) to make 12 muffins.

Bake for approx. 25 minutes until muffins are golden brown. Allow to cool for at least 10 minutes before serving.

Makes one dozen muffins.

Not a matcha fan? I wasn’t either, but then I tried *good* matcha and my world changed. If you’d like recommendations, let me know below.
Ingredients:
Crust:
•Dry:
1/3 cup (45g) rolled oats
3 Tbsp. (35g) rice flour
1/4 cup (40g) raw almond
4 Tbsp. coconut sugar
1/8 tsp pink salt
•Wet :
3-4 Tbsp. melted coconut oil
1 Tbsp. maple syrup .
Matcha Filling:
3/4 cup (100g) raw cashews (soaked 4-5 hours and rinsed)
1/2 cup (120ml) coconut cream
3 Tbsp. melted cacao butter
4 Tbsp. agave or maple syrup
2 Tbsp. lemon juice
2 tsp matcha powder
1/2 tsp vanilla paste
Pinch of pink salt
.
Directions:
1) Preheat oven to 170⁰C(340F). Place every dry ingredient for the crust in a food processor. Process well until it reaches the consistency of flour.
2) Add every wet ingredient for the crust into the food processor and process until it becomes like wet sand. If the mixture is too dry, add 1 tsp, or more if necessary, of melted coconut oil.
3) Press the mixture against the sides and the bottom of the mould. Bake it for about 20 min or until golden brown. Let it cool. 4) While cooling the crust, put every ingredient for the matcha filling in a high-speed blender and blend well. Add more sweetener or lemon juice if you need. Layer it over the crust, and freeze it over night. (5) Take out the cake from the mould and garnish with your choice of fruits.

1 roasted red pepper, cooled, skins and seeds removed
1/2 cup any combination raw almonds and pine nuts
1 Roma tomato
1/4-1/3 cup olive oil
2 cloves garlic, blanched
2 T fresh parsley
2 T apple cider vinegar
2 anchovies in oil (optional, but it gives it a nice savory & salty touch)
1/8 tsp cayenne (optional)
Salt & pepper to taste

In a food processor or high speed blender, pulse everything together. It should still have a bit of texture to it. .

SUNFLOWER SEED HUMMUS
1 cup raw unsalted sunflower seeds
Juice of 1 lemon
1/2 cup tahini
3 cloves garlic, blanched
3 Tbsp olive oil
1/4 tsp cumin
1 tsp salt
1/4 tsp pepper

Blend all ingredients together until smooth using a high speed blender or food processor. Thin using water or more oil.

요즘 많이 무너지고 지쳐있었는데
연주를 보고 듣고 함께 불러보면서
위로와 쉼을 얻은 거 같다ㅠㅠ
마지막 후주 파트에서 오르간 반주자님이 <기쁘다 구주 오셨네> 솔로로 연주하실 때
멋있었는데 담지 못해서 아쉽네

어떤 마음으로 보내야 할까?
Vespers : 저녁을 뜻하는 라틴어 'Vesper'(웨스뻬르)에서 유래한 말로, 전통 교회 예식의 성무일과 중 '저녁기도'를 이르는 말로 하루 여덟 번의 순서 중 음악적 요소가 가장 다양하고 화려 했던 기도모임. 종교 개혁 이후 개혁교회에서는 아침 기도회(Laudes)와 저녁 기도회(Vespers)의 예배 형태로 계승되었다.

A fresh and summer strawberry salad with avocado, bacon and crispy fried goat cheese with a honey lemon dijon dressing with poppy seeds!

Ingredients:

HONEY LEMON DIJON POPPY SEED VINAIGRETTE:
1/4 cup lemon juice
1/4 cup extra virgin olive oil
3 tablespoons honey
3 teaspoons Dijon mustard
3 teaspoons poppy seeds
2 cloves garlic, grated or minced
salt and pepper to taste
.
THE FRIED GOAT CHEESE:
8 ounces goat cheese, either sliced into 1/4 inch thick discs or formed into small balls
1/4 cup flour
1 large egg, lightly beaten
1 cup panko breadcrumbs (or breadcrumbs)
.
FOR THE SALAD:
4 strips bacon
1/2 pound chicken breasts
6 cups baby spinach
1 cup strawberries, sliced
1 avocado, sliced
1/4 cup red onion, sliced
1/4 cup almonds, sliced, slivered or chopped
----
Instructions:
.
HONEY LEMON DIJON POPPY SEED VINAIGRETTE:
Mix everything well.

THE FRIED GOAT CHEESE:
Dredge the goat cheese slices/balls in the flour and coat in egg followed by breadcrumbs and fry in oil over medium heat until lightly golden brown before setting aside on paper towels to drain.

FOR THE SALAD:
Cook the bacon and set aside on paper towels to drain before crumbling.
Marinate the chicken in half of the vinaigrette for 30 minutes to over night before grilling over medium-high heat until cooked and slightly charred, about 2-5 minutes per side, and setting aside to cool and slice.
Assemble the salad, toss with the dressing and enjoy!

salmon burger
1/4 to 1/3 cup almond flour
2 cans wild alaskan salmon, drained
1/2 diced yellow onion
1 pasture-raised egg
1 clove garlic, minced
2 T whole grain mustard
sea salt + pepper + dried dill
.
drain salmon then add to a bowl & break up with a fork. add in remaining ingredients, stir until fully combined & distributed. using hands, form into 8 small patties. heat avocado oil in a pan over medium heat. once hot, cook patties 3-4 min on both sides until fully cooked through. store for up to 4-5 days #foodfitnessandfaith #mealprep #healthyeating

Creamy cashew butternut sage sauce 👉🏻 3 cups roasted butternut squash (you can prepare this however you want but just ensure the squash is tender) • 1/2 onion diced + 1 garlic clove, sautéed in 1 tsp. oil until tender • 1 cup raw cashews • 2 cups unsweetened cashew milk (or almond milk) • 1/4 tsp. cayenne pepper • 1/2 tsp. dried sage • 1/4 tsp. salt + fresh pepper to taste • Blend all ingredients until smooth 🍥 Tossed with @eatbanza chickpea pasta shells + sautéed garlicky spinach 🍃👌🏻😋.
