There are principles to follow in accumulation of volume through formats of low to high intensity. One must graduate from one level of fatigue to EARN passage into the next. Here’s @abscano_07 putting in another session of Pullup and HSPU skill work. Today it’s 2 X 14:00 EMOM consisting of 5 Kip Pullups in even sets, 5 HSPU’s in odd sets. These 2 pieces come in between 3 sets of 2.5k Row at easy effort. .
You see, the idea is not to “force” her into suffering through these reps but rather accumulating without technique being negatively affected. It adds up to 70 reps of each movement, on a day when she feels like training was easy. Progression started at EMOM’s of 8:00 and has been progressively increased across the past 4 weeks.
