RICAFI has been one of the best things that's ever happened to me. I am so thankful for all the people I met through it, and for the experience I got from it as well.
Thank you for never failing to make us feel like we were a part of your family, too, RICAFI teachers, staff, and students. Since day 1, you've all treated us so well. I will always cherish the memories of our Kris Kringles, mga kainan sa labas ((na laging may lamunan ng ice cream involved)), our dance practices that most often than not involved us laughing at Min's "magtanim ay di biro" steps, mga biruan, asaran, kantahan, at chikahan pag may free time, our incessant laughter at ate Daisy's "wine wine sugar baby," yung pakain ng Jollibee during lunch time, and of course, I'll surely miss the work we have to do in RICAFI as well: yung circle time, always having to let some of the kids stay seated to the point of having pamaol the next day, exercise time, acads time, and basically just everything.
I learned so much from RICAFI, one of my most favorite learnings is the quote pasted on RICAFI's wall, "Don't give up. A person is a person no matter how small." Thank you for never giving up on these kids, mga teachers, and just as you are a blessing to these kids, may you all also continue to be blessed by our Father above as well.
To the kids, to whom my heart has grown so close to in just a span of 2 weeks, thank you for being my happy pill everyday in those 2 weeks. Every night, you made me look forward to waking up in the morning just so I can see your faces again. Every weekend I spend waiting for it to be Monday just so I can go back to RICAFI already and see you guys again. Napamahal na talaga kayo sa akin. I really really love you kids so much.
Funny how before we began our OJT here, Jea and I were so problematic over how we might not finish the 80 hours in time for the Christmas break, but now all we really want to do is go back.
The past two weeks and a half have been some of the best weeks of my life. Thank you, RICAFI. ✨ May you always be blessed and may you always be a blessing🙏🏻❤
