The man on the left came to the states at the age of 22 after the war as a refugee with just the clothes on his back and not a single penny in his pocket and not even able to speak the language. Leaving his family behind and not seeing them for 19 years. He started working at a dealership cleaning toilets then at a supermarket where he met my mom. I remeber when you used to wake me up at the butt crack of dawn to study/recite my multiplication tables which I would sit at the table and cry (🤣😂). As I got older you took me to our rental properties showing me how to fix stuff explaining that hiring people would cost money. You told me to work hard in school and to go to college and you'd reward me with a brand new BMW M3 which being the spoiled and unappreciative me didn't want to put in the hard work because I thought I "deserved" it. It's crazy to think you did this just to motivate me to build a future which would only benefit me. I didn't really get any of the stuff you taught or instilled in me until I moved to AZ and had to learn the hard way. The man on the left today retired after working for 42 years. Never in my life have I met anyone who worked harder and who never complained about any job or task at hand. I attribute all my success and dedication to you and the lessons you've taught me have been priceless. If I could even be half as successful as you in life I'd call that a success. I love you Dad and you are and will always be my hero.
Happy retirement! 🥂🎉 "Life's never fair, never play it soft"

Words can’t describe how truly proud I am of my bestie @coach_ashberry Since the first day I meet her I knew this girl had cheer running deep in her veins and was something she was passionate about. LITERALLY dreamt and cheered in her sleep! In my opinion she’s one of the Best (if not THE BEST) and successful coaches out there. 💙I’ve gotten to witness her coaching career through the ups and downs. Many times I got a call that she wanted to quit the world of cheer and get a normal people job. Of course I knew... 1. Shes not a quitter. 2. She is two in love with the sport and would never leave it. So of course it was no surprise to me that almost 10 years later after she retired from competitive cheerleading that she wanted to return and give it one more go. For many years we talked about how it would be a dream come true to go to worlds. Well with vast amounts of dedication and persistence, working through injury, and absolute passion for the sport, My Besties dream has come true and SHE’S GOING TO WORLDS!!!! 🎉So proud of you and excited for you Ash!!! I can’t wait to see you out on that Worlds stage! I’ll be front and center screaming and cheering my lungs out!!! Just an heads up...I might cry for you with excitement!!!🙈😂Also congrats to @im_still_bigred13 and @camisacca_ Who are just a awesome❤️I am very proud of you ladies as well. Retiring at my age ???!!! may sound crazy, but after all I’ve been through.... its perfect. Before my car accident, I just wanted to be wildly successful at something. Now I’ve realized that I’m already happy. I no longer care about being on the radio, going on any more modeling trips, being popular on social media, or making tons of money. I’ve been published in magazines, released an album under my own label, self-published my own poetry books, performed on big stages, met legends in the industry, etc etc etc... Then I almost lost my life and realized that NONE of that matters.... accomplishments are nothing in the big picture. Family is everything. Living in your idea of perfect happiness is everything. So I’ve decided to just enjoy life and do whatever I feel like doing in the moment. I wouldn’t trade my happiness for fame, and I love the idea of just doing whatever comes my way, if it’s just for fun. Mostly I’m enjoying sunshine, food, fashion, and art. I developed some travel anxiety, so I don’t really have to travel much anymore, or too far, anyway, to see who I want and be where I like to be. I enjoy doing my Mary Kay because I get to share beauty tips with wonderful women I meet and conduct my business from home or wherever I want , when I want to. I have the life I want now, and none of the stuff I don’t want. This is what truly matters to me. Yay, retirement!!!!!!!😝💯 #retired #retiredlife #youngblessedandretired #secondchanceatlife #survivor #blessed

THIS boxing training video of the latest technology I posted went viral! Is this the future for boxing training?
I was recently at the world’s biggest fitness trade show, IHRSA, in San Diego, California. This is where all the latest inventions and trends in the fitness industry are showcased.
__
We had a booth there promoting our @BoxNBurnAcademy certification course and I was very happy when I saw this boxing booth advertising a “@BotBoxer”. I went to see what it was all about and I saw a ton of people lining up to have a go at trying to hit this automated punch bag. The bag had sensors on it so when you go to hit it, it moves away.
I was laughing at everyone who had zero experience and tried to hit it. They looked pretty silly when they were throwing their punches and missing. I thought to myself “I need to have a go at this. There’s no way a machine can dodge my punches”. If you don’t know me, I had 106 fights in my boxing career, winning an Olympic medal in 2008, seven national titles, as well as a European gold medal as an amateur, and retiring as an undefeated pro boxer.
So, I was excited to get the 4oz MMA gloves on that everyone was wearing and to stand in front of a couple hundred people to show them how it was suppose to be done. I went for it and, as you can see by the video ,I wasn’t very successful!

This bag was unbelievable, Even though I’ve been retired from competing for a good few years, I know I can still punch fast, but this thing was even faster! Before I gave the machine a go, I thought that this can’t be good for the elbows because of hyperextending, and to be honest my elbows were hurting after doing this, but I think it was because I was so determined to hit the bloody thing. Happy International Women’s Day to all of the wonderful, inspirational women in my life. A little story below about an inspirational woman I discovered last year...
.
This is Doriot Anthony Dwyer - an American flutist. She is now 95 years old, and, as recently as 1952, was one of the first ever female principal players (of any section, not just the flutes) in one of the top five US Symphony Orchestras - the Boston Symphony Orchestra. A position she held for 38 years until 1990.
.
When she applied for the principal position, the director of the orchestra, who was unimpressed with the male applicants, held a “Ladies Day” audition. She was successful at her first audition (playing everything from memory) knocking out the other female applicant. When the director asked her back for a second audition, she declined saying that it would give them time to find a European player and was a test of her will and ability to audition for a second time. Two months later she was offered the job. When negotiating her salary, the manager said “it’s a lot of money for a little girl”, to which Dwyer replied “it’s a big job”.
.
After all that, she had no dressing room to prepare for concerts in (because the orchestra was full of men). The harpist, the only other woman in the orchestra at the time apart from a violinist, offered her harp case for Doriot to get changed in. She politely declined and the orchestra soon gave up one of the rooms used for guest musicians for her to use as a dressing room.
.
She soon became recognised as one of the best flutists of her generation, and won critical acclaim for numerous performances. The conductor Leonard Bernstein called her a genius. When she retired in 1990, the BSO commissioned a concerto for her to play at her final concert. By that point, the headline in the paper was “Doriot Anthony Dwyer, a living legend of flute playing.”
.
A long post I know, but I wanted to share her story. What an inspiration!

She grew up going to the best schools on the East Coast, and even went to finishing school in Switzerland. Tierney spoke fluent French and took her education very seriously. Through connections, she was able to land small roles in Hollywood. She was regarded as one of the most beautiful women in the film industry when she finally emerged onto the screen. In her first role, she simply carried a bucket of water across the stage. One critic wrote, "Miss Tierney is, without a doubt, the most beautiful water carrier I have ever seen!" The founder of 20th Century Fox, Darryl Zanuck, said she was without a doubt the most beautiful woman in Hollywood’s history. Unfortunately, the unravelling of her parent’s marriage and career stress instigated many mental health issues for Tierney. She impulsively married designer Oleg Cassini and soon became pregnant with their first child. The obstacles did not stop there for Tierney. While performing at the Hollywood Canteen, she caught rubella and it significantly affected the birth and health of her daughter. Tierney never forgave herself for allowing her career to impact her family life, and this led to increased mental health issues. In 1944, Tierney starred in “Laura,” one of her most notable roles. This pushed her to A-list stardom. More scandal followed the actress, however, when it was discovered that she had an affair with then-war hero John F. Kennedy. In the 1950s, Tierney’s career declined as she suffered from severe bipolar disorder. She underwent shock therapy and was sent to a clinic for her suicidal depression. At the end of the decade, Tierney married Texas oil tycoon Howard Lee (formerly married to Hedy Lamarr), and retired to Houston. She performed in a few small roles after that, but overall her career was finished. It is sad to see how her mental illness affected her career, but Tierney wrote an autobiography in which she talked about her happiest times as a kid and student. She always cherished those memories.✨ #genetierney #classichollywood #oldhollywood #thegoldenage #vintage #retro

Sullivan (born Thomas Sullivan; (November 25, 1946 – April 4, 2018) was an American professional wrestler and manager, better known by his ring name, Johnny Valiant. He competed in the World Wide Wrestling Federation (WWWF), which became the World Wrestling Federation during his time with the promotion. He won the World Tag Team Championship two times. The first run (which lasted over a year) was with his first and most famous storyline brother Jimmy Valiant over Tony Garea and Dean Ho on May 8, 1974; his second title run was with his second storyline brother Jerry Valiant over Tony Garea and Larry Zbyszko on March 6, 1979.

After he retired from active competition, Valiant went on to a successful career as a manager. He managed Hulk Hogan as a face in the AWA in the early 1980s and soon moved back to the WWF to manage Brutus Beefcake. Soon after in May 1985, Valiant and fellow heel manager Jimmy Hart put together The Dream Team with Beefcake teaming with then Intercontinental Champion Greg Valentine.

Sullivan went by the moniker of Johnny Valiant as an actor and comedian. He appeared on multiple episodes of The Sopranos and Law & Order. He also had several feature films on his resume. His one-man show "An Evening with Johnny Valiant" garnered critical praise from "Time Out New York," "The Village Voice" and WBAI Pacifica Radio.

Sullivan was struck and killed by a pickup truck in Ross Township, a northern suburb of Pittsburgh, on April 4, 2018. Police are treating it as an accident. Police told local news Sullivan was not in a crosswalk, and the driver of the vehicle remained on the scene. #lusciousjohnnyvaliant #johnnyvaliant #dreamteam #wwf #wwwf #fallenheroes #myfallenheroes #ourfallenheroes #wrestling #deadwrestlers

August 9, 1928 - Bob Cousy was born in Yorkville, Manhattan, New York. Happy 90th Birthday Bob Cousy! Cousy was initially drafted by the Tri-Cities Blackhawks as the third overall pick in the first round of the 1950 NBA draft, but after he refused to report, he was picked up by Boston. He had an exceptionally successful career with the Celtics, leading the league an unprecedented 8 straight years in assists, playing on six NBA championship teams, and being voted into 13 NBA All-Star Games in his 13 full NBA seasons. He was also named to 12 All-NBA First and Second Teams and won the 1957 NBA Most Valuable Player Award. En route to his assist streak that was unmatched either in number of crowns or consecutive years, Cousy introduced a new blend of ball-handling and passing skills to the NBA that earned him the nickname "The Houdini of the Hardwood". Also known as "Cooz", he was regularly introduced at Boston Garden as "Mr. Basketball". After his playing career, he coached the Royals for several years, capped by a seven-game cameo comeback for them at age 41. Cousy then became a broadcaster for Celtics games. Upon his election to the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame in 1971 the Celtics retired his #14 jersey and hung it in the rafters of the Garden.

If you're a coach, speaker, or influencer who wants to triple your impact, influence and income in the next 90 days, this post is for you.

In case you didn't know, I've spoken on over 500 stages, including Tedx, Harvard & Yale.

In 2012, I won the Student of the Year award at Youth Speaker University and was one of the youngest graduates from Tony Robbins RMT coaching program.

In 2016, I had my most successful year with over 100 speaking engagements but it was also my most stressful year because I was always on the road.

I really wanted to start a family but the current business model I had wasn't the best way to support that lifestyle.

So I retired from speaking in the education market to figure out a better way to make a bigger impact, influence and income without sacrificing my lifestyle goals.

In 2017 I started successfully coaching clients full-time and I invested over $100,000 just to learn from some of the big names in the industry.

After working with a bunch of mentors and joining a few of their masterminds, I discovered a few problems.

Although they're all great in their own way, there wasn't a clear and simple path towards building a highly profitable and sustainable coaching and speaking business while growing your social media platform.

Everyone had a peice of the puzzle but they didn't provide the whole picture.

And that just left me feeling even more overwhelmed and confused.

But it also gave me the opportunity to figure out a better way.

That's when Gerard Adams reached out to me.

Although he became one of my own coaching clients, I honestly admired how he built his personal brand and social media platform.

I noticed that a lot of my clients, including myself, not only wanted to have a successful coaching and speaking business but they also wanted to build an influential personal brand and social media empire.

So we joined forces and created the map we wish we had when we first started on this path.

If you'd like to learn the right way to do all of this, type "MAP" below👇🏼

July 11, 1944 - Lou Hudson is born in Greensboro, North Carolina. Lou Hudson graduated from Dudley High School in Greensboro. As a junior at the University of Minnesota, Hudson averaged 24.8 points and 10.7 rebounds and was named an All-American. After starring at the University of Minnesota, Hudson was selected by the St. Louis Hawks with the 4th pick of the 1966 NBA Draft. Hudson was named to the 1967 NBA All-Rookie Team after averaging 18.4 points per game in hid first season. At 6'5", Hudson could play as either a guard or a forward, and he had a long and successful professional career. Hudson went on to average at least 24 points per game for five consecutive seasons beginning in 1969-70, and scored 17,940 points in 13 seasons (1966–1979). He was a six time All-Star with the Hawks (who moved to Atlanta in 1968), and he earned the nickname "Sweet Lou" for his smooth and effective jump shot. Hudson's jersey number has been retired by both the Atlanta Hawks and the University of Minnesota. It’s been quite the adventure. 👉🏼2010 I went through a break up & met Paul. 👉🏼2011 I started my coaching business part time while working full time in finance. Paul & I moved in together.
👉🏼2012 we bought our first home & I left my corporate job. We brought home baby Stella. 👉🏼2013 we got engaged!! 👉🏼2014 we got married & sold our home in SLO right after our wedding & decided to buy in Tahoe. 👉🏼2015 Paul retired from his job. My twin nieces survived & thrived after being told we’d lose them. 👉🏼2016 we sold our place in Tahoe to move to NV to save $ on taxes. 👉🏼2017 bought a place in NV & realized California would always be our home. Saving money didn’t bring us happiness. Our family does. Sold 3 months later & moved back to be close to my family in Nor Cal! Brought home baby Cali!! 👉🏼2018 decided we missed being in Tahoe in the summer & started looking for a place in January. Found our perfect cabin with a studio cabin to rent on Airbnb for an investment. Also, Purchased 3 rental properties cash for passive income.
And here we are half way through 2018 and it’s been even better than I could have imagined. Tomorrow we pack up & “move” to Tahoe for 3 months! I’m already so giddy thinking of all the memories we get to create together.... I know when I share my life I have people say Wow she’s lucky. And I am. I’m lucky that when I have a dream I choose to go after it... & don’t wait until (insert some future time). I’m lucky that I was broke. That I come from a broken family. I’m lucky that I struggled through suicidal depression. I’m lucky because with every trial placed in front of me I learned how STRONG I am. When I started my coaching business I wanted to help others find their healthy because fitness had saved me. I wanted to earn an income doing something that I loved. I wanted to have freedom to choose when I took vacation. My first month as a coach I earned $70. Lots of people told me I’d never succeed. I’d post to Facebook & have 0 likes. I didn’t have an ounce of success or know how to run a business. But I knew I could learn. I also knew that behind every successful person is more failure than everyone else who gives up.👇🏼👇🏼

Stella Donovan’s biological clock is a ticking time bomb.

The successful financial manager has spent her adult life building a career and neglecting her personal life. Problem is, she doesn’t believe in marriage. Not after watching her mother be treated like garbage by her father. Nope, marriage is not for her. All she wants is a baby. All she needs is a man to agree to her terms.

Dane Wylder, recently retired NFL tight end and future Hall of Famer, wants a baby.

Naturally, marriage is off the table. He’s not the marrying type. Women are great––as long as they’re trying to get into his bed and not his heart. But after years of living only for himself, he’s ready to be a father.

Sparks fly when a successful financial manager and a legendary football player enter into a legal agreement to have a kid together. They planned on everything––they just didn’t plan on each other.

Gerard Depardieu stars in this Italian movie, L’Buffata (The Feast), presented by Instituto Italiano di Cultura (@iicjakarta)

In Diamante, a small town in Calabria, southern Italy, Gabriele, Marco and Nicola are three youngsters, who would like to shoot a movie
.
.
They interview an old lady, who recalls the love of her life, a distant cousin of hers who emigrated to America as a youth, whose return she is still waiting for. Indeed, a suitable plot for a movie. .

Neri is a former film director who shot one successful movie and then retired to Diamante. They ask for his help, in vain though. So they decide to travel to Rome, and Elena, Marco's sister, goes with them. .
.
Here, Francesco, a friend of Neri's, unwillingly accommodates them. They end up getting involved in the TV showbiz rather than cinema, and realize it's not that bad after all. .
.

However, they meet Amelie, a French, girl, who seems to be interested in their intent, and tells them she will mention it to Gerard, her fiancé, who actually turns out to be Gerard Depardieu, the renowned French actor... Could this be the turning point for them?

My dad moved to the U.S. at the age of 14 without knowing English. Unfortunately his father (my grandpa) died when my dad was 19 years old. He then had to take care of his mom and younger brother by himself. So my dad became a cop and forced himself to learn English. During his time at LAPD my dad reached the rank of D3 (Detective 3). He was in the Major Narcotics Division and undercover. He had great success as you can see from one of the photos. After 21 years and 3 months of serving my dad retired and started a Private Security Business that fortunately became successful. He’s gone through so much to provide for our family and nothing I do could ever express my appreciation for you. I love you dad Happy Birthday ❤️ 🎉 @alkotero #happybirthday
