I've been hated on, stabbed in the back, cheated on, lied to, abused, misjudged, taken advantage of, and stereotyped... AND THE GYM HAS GOTTEN ME THROUGH IT ALL. The gym is the one place I am completely free from ALL of life's bullshit. THE GYM IS MY THERAPY. Once I load the weight on, it's just me, my music, and the iron. FUCK THE REST. You can't touch me here.

I want you all to know I'm the SAME as you. I've been thru the same hells as you have. I’ve suffered the same depression as you have. I’ve had countless people my whole damn life tell me I’m not good enough, tear me down, and abuse me in every way possible. They destroyed me and it was MY FAULT for letting them. I believed them when they said I was nothing and would never become anything in life. I was weak and listened. I put myself in a very, very dark, cold place where I felt worthless. I didn’t love myself. I didn’t value myself and questioned whether life was even worth living with all this pain. Then I found the gym and it helped me through it all. I began to embrace the darkness. I began to love the pain. The gym gave me strength inside and out. The gym helped me fight my own demons and balance my anger and hate. I would spend countless hours in the gym training and I became addicted. The pain of training replaced the pain of my suffering. I took hold of my life. I wouldn’t be here today if it wasn’t for the gym. THE GYM SAVED ME.

🧠The key 🔑 to maximally developing any muscle group is to use a healthy mix of heavier and lighter loads and all rep ranges (low, medium, and high). I like Arnold Presses, Landmine Presses, and Hang Snatches for lower reps (3-5) and medium reps (6-10). I like medium to higher reps (8-12+) for all the other moves. Don't be afraid to start your workouts with the single-joint isolation moves to pre-fatigue certain areas and stimulate weak areas when you're most fresh and focused. It also allows lighter loads to go a longer way the rest of the training session. And if you have to pick just one move, the rotational nature of the Arnold Press works all 3 heads of the shoulders and has the biggest bang for your buck!

No es la playa, ni la piscina, ni mucho menos sus casas. Ahhhh es porque sudamos muchos me dice mi primito. A caso las mujeres no sudamos también?? A caso nosotras andamos enseñando las tetas por ahí a diestra y siniestra porque hace calor?? No verdad. Entonces por qué lo hacen o mejor dicho, por qué lo permiten entonces? A mi no me gusta ver a hombres sudados por ahí y para acabar ediondos. Tampoco quiero que mi hija de 10 años que toma clases de crossfit este viendo esto y piense que es normal. A dónde vamos a parar. Va llegar el día en que va ser tan común entrenar en tanga y picho frío enseñando casi todas las partes nobles. In this post,I want to talk about Plateauing. Plateauing is going to happen to everyone of us at a certain point whether we're bulking or cutting. And the worst thing we can do is to get discouraged and stop doing what we were doing just because we've hit a plateau and our body isn't as responsive as we want it to be. I personally have hit so many plateaus and I'm going to be totally honest and say that's I wanted to quit so many times. I have hit the biggest plateau two years ago when I was bulking and couldn't break the 240lbs threshold for almost 9 months no matter what I did or the amount of calories I've consumed. I doubted myself so many times, I wanted to stop everything, I even wanted to stop training because I wasn't seeing any results. But finally i was able to go past my obstacles which sometimes it might be a mental thing and has nothing to do with what you were doing. Now im at 283lbs , yes another plateau for me lol but I know exactly how to deal with it this time.
Btw. This picture was talking when I first started my long off-season and I weighted around 225lbs. .

Both have their advantages, on the left my diet was becoming strict as I was beginning a lengthy shred. On the right I was mid way through a shred, water had been cut slightly for that photo and the lighting was right. Just remember I never walk around completely shredded, my water isn't or ever cut in normal day to day life and the lighting isn't always magically on me. It's all for the media, that's the real truth and I hope you understand this. Anders blev i januar opereret for 1 tumor i hjernen, fjernet 2 tumor medicinsk, vejede 132kg og var ligeglad med han stoppede i hovedet.
I kan se hans tilstand i videoen, Anders kunne knap gå, var svag og som han sagde til mig " Var sgu tæt på ta billetten.
Anders fik i starten af marts en diskusprolaps imellem L2 og L3 da ha var på vej til at genoptræne sig selv fra operationen.
Jeg blev ringet op at en fælles ven af Anders og jeg, som sagde " Søren vi er nød til at gøre noget for Anders vil ikke fyldes med det lort de gir ham medicinsk" han skal have bygget noget muskelmasse så han kan stå imod sygdommen - det skal sige at Anders stadig har 2 tumor i hjerne, så nogen dage er bedre end andre.
Anders kom ud til @malelar og fik fixed den prolaps, som behandler forgæves havde forsøgt at afhjælpe og jeg og Anders fik sammensat kosten og en træningsprogram som kunne supplere hans CrossFit. På 3 måneder er han fået fra 85 kg Pr i squat til 10 reps på 110-115 kg😎
Anders er i mine øjne et eksempel på hvad den menneskelig krop er i stand til, hvis man har noget at kæmpe for.
De 3 første billeder er fra januar og de 3 sidste er fra nu.... Jeg lader resten tale for sig selv.. Anders fortjener alt den credit i hele verden, for har aldrig mødt en fighter som ham 🙏♥️.

Throughout my latter teens and into my twenties I found myself getting more and more tired despite sleeping at least 8 hours a night. I tried everything: increasing my vitamin b consumption (important), managing my sugar consumption to stop crashes and changed my pre workout among other things. Nothing worked to any great degree. Until... I evaluated my diet and realised that despite the fact I thought I was drinking enough water I clearly wasn't. Of course this is dependent upon how much exercise you're doing each day but the minimum amount of water you should be drinking each day is 2L.

Every day I fill a 2L bottle with water, squeeze a lemon into it and drop a green tea bag in. I also mix in one teaspoon of manuka honey and one of apple cider vinegar. If you're not keen on the taste of the latter just focus on lemon and water. 🍌Boosts your metabolism by anywhere between 24%-26% according to two big budget studies over the past 2 years. Drinking 2L of water a day is estimated to burn an extra 96 calories per day. 🍋Lemon helps maintain good skin and can help reduce levels of acne, especially if you live in a big city (think about the pollution your body absorbs on a daily basis). I've been fortunate to have never had problems with my skin but since making a commitment to drinking lemon water my skin is flawless. 🍊Lubricates joints, protects your spinal cord and other sensitive tissues. If you are lifting heavy and and often and you are not drinking enough water to keep your joints healthy then you are risking serious injury. I would encourage everyone to be taking fish oils as standard in respect to joint health but if you're not drinking enough water then you're defeating the point somewhat. 🍒Feel fuller! If you're looking to lose weight then drinking water is not only critical in respect to your metabolism but also how full you will feel and thus how little you'll be wanting to snack.

I actually laughed out loud reading this as I crossed paths with this individual once. She was set up on the middle squat rack but had her bag of camera equipment in front of the spare squat rack next to her. She was sitting on a box in her rest break (from box squats) hunched forward & chatting with a male friend who was filming her during sets. .
I approached, waited to catch her attention without interrupting their conversation, smiled & said "just checking if that rack is free?" gesturing to her bag. She looked away from me, rolled her eyes & muttered
"uh huh"
What happened to her urge to practise mindfulness?🤔
She is not uncommon on Instagram or in the gym or the fitness world or life.
So many people I come across who act like they're 1 way on social media (positive, enlightened, sincere, disciplined, eating food etc) are the exact opposite.
Most people aren't what they post to be

So many people preach attitudes & values they don't back up. Don't idolize or believe what you see on social media. Put down your phone & get out in the real world & be around people who are good humans who don't care about or need your fake likes.

It is as simple as that.
This doesn’t not mean I don’t cheat or lose motivation, I literally eat bunch of junk but in moderation and I haven’t been to gym for 2 weeks now (I am not proud of it) but that’s life. You gotta embrace it and work towards getting better.
Take your time off but remember slow progress is still a progress.

MY ADVICE is to train at home with me on EGYM.KIANA.COM & make your own home gym: it never closes, no commute, no waiting in lines for equipment. And it’s much cleaner. You don’t need an Elaborate home gym. How? The key point is to create a 💪🏼designated space in your house or garage that you set up and leave up (don’t put everything away - leave it all set up so it’s super convenient.) I recommend starting off with a good quality mat because training on carpet is disgusting, but some handweights at a local sporting good store or let me take the guesswork out of it for you and shop my selected equipment at shop.Kiana.com. I personally love the pro barbell set I use it every day. It’s compact to store at home and can be loaded up for both men and women. Furthermore, You have the options to lift the barbell or use the plates individually for dozens of other exercises. -
Once you have your home gym set up, Just tell yourself you’re only going to workout for 15 min. But.... Once you pick up the weights & do a couple repetitions with me online, you feel so much better already, you feel productive, positive, knowing you are doing something healthy & good for your body & your mind. Pretty soon you’ve worked out much longer than you ever thought you would! 💪🏼Then your fitness will start to #snowball and your training for 25, 30, 45 min, pretty soon your training to 3-4 days a week! Do you eat bananas, if so which type let me know below ⤵️ Personally I'm going to be extremely honest with you. I am just like everyone else and have previously fallen into the trap believing bananas are bad for you during your cut due to the high carb content. We must not forget that while cutting we already restrict so many foods which provide us with essential nutrients such as fibre, minerals and vitamins.
At the moment I haven't made room for a banana in my current carb cycle diet. However the swap I could make is post workout. As my clients know I add around 25-35grams of carbs post workout even while I am shredded. I use this to spike my insulin, mildly replenish glycogen stores and to easily digest a very simple carb.
We must be careful of not only dried banana but dried fruit in general as it severely ups the fat content of each foot due to the oils being used while cooking them. Let me stress if you can fit the extra fat into your daily expenditure go ahead, this is often not the case though.
I will stick to the medium banana and I will consciously make an effort to have it post workout. If I don't please let me know! Maybe give it a go and be strict with your diet around the clock so you can afford to have a fruit which fits into your daily meal plan which not only delivers carbs but all your essential nutrients aswell.

It took me a while to figure out what it meant to living a healthy lifestyle .. healthy to me is having a balance between your social life all while still being able to enjoy LIFE ! ( vacations, parties, weddings etc.) These two pictures to me show unbalanced and balanced. On the left I was unbalanced ... I was at a point of my life where I already found fitness but the extreme side of it .. I wouldn’t be social, gym everyday for 2 1/2 hours and would be so strict on my diet that once I would reach the point of exhaustion I would binge eat. This was my period of ice cream every night at cold stone 🙈.. I would drink eat and then on top of that have those late night drunk munchies .. to me at one time it was normal bc I didn’t know any better. On the right 7 years later down the road after being in the fitness world and being able to train and guide people I learned all about balance, I learned that it is ok to eat foods like cereal, hamburgers etc when you want it, all while still giving it your all in the gym, maybe not for 2 1/2 hours anymore 🙊 but for 1 hour and when I’m deep in concentration mode 1 1/2 lol .. I now train 5 days a week (when I’m not competing ) all while having foods and drinks in moderation and having a healthy perspective to life. It is possible to find your balance while reaching your goals!! i succeeded on the mere knowledge of trusting, knowing & following the signs of my body.

i didn’t hit the gym 6-7 days a wk & hell if i did cardio more than 3-4 times with no more than 20 min sessions.

then, i decided - i wanna fucking GROW.

so i did.

i created a flexible training program, ONLY lifting 4x a week. YUP. and ate INTUITIVELY.

and BAM. growth.

i told y’all these wheels grow fast! 💪🏻

no obsession. no pressure. all gain (in the right places).

this functioning, cohesive system.

Stiff Leg Deadlifts - this movement keeps the quads from assisting the hamstrings and glutes by keeping the hip height in a relatively fixed position. The knee angle barely changes throughout the movement. Unlike the conventional deadlift or sumo stance deadlift your hips should not be changing height. While you won’t be able to lift as much weight, you’ll be directly targeting both the hamstrings and glutes. .

The way I am performing this movement puts most of the focus on the concentric. On the other hand, when I do Romanian deadlifts with dumbbells I’ll use lighter weight and focus on the eccentric (negative) for that deep stretch, larger range of motion and maximum muscle damage. The biggest difference is that Romanians start and stop at the top and conventional, sumo and SLDL reps begin and end on the floor. .

With all deadlifts, make sure you’re maintain a neutral spine. Try not to allow any lumbar flexion. Pull out the slack when lifting from the floor. This means - pull the bar tight before each rep and don’t yank it. Yanking the bar will often immediately change your position and cause rounding or the lower back. I always recommend wearing straps on working sets as it’s inherently more dangerous to use a mixed (over/under) grip and since I don’t compete in powerlifting I don’t want to have to worry about my grip during working sets. Double overhand with straps or Versa-grips is what I recommend. .

On Jan 3, just 7 months ago, I gave birth to a beautiful baby girl - Stormie Rogue. It was a last minute necessary C-section. But all worth it - that doesn’t even need to be said. I took my 4-6 weeks to recover- doc cleared me for light cardio at 4 weeks and lifting at 6.
Then I needed to prove a point. To myself. To my clients. To my friends and more. The baby weight doesn’t HAVE to stay on. There’s a choice here and it’s yours. All yours. Anything can be done with hard work and dedication. And I wanted to be a role model for all my clients- moms and not. So I decided to prep for a another bodybuilding show- ASAP, while Stormie was still a newborn and was on a sleep/eat pattern. It would be hard on me but not her- that was important- that she wouldn’t be at all affected. We were also in the midst of opening our new gym location so this would be a huge commitment. But I knew I should go for it.
But I wanted to nurse Stormie first too. My goal was three months then I could start dieting down. I made it to four. It took me until April 1 - 6 weeks of working out and eating healthy following my 6 week recovery- to get my workouts relatively on track and lose the initial baby weight. Then I contacted coach Kyle Wilkes. We spoke extensively about my goal and he agreed to work with me when I was ready and healthy. I completely cleaned up my diet starting April 1 and upped my workouts while I was still nursing. The plan would be to nurse until the end of April then wean Storms off and start cutting in May. And I did. And boy was it hard!!! We opened our new gym location in mid-May. As Stormie was transitioning to formula. As I was starting my cut. I’m not going to lie- this prep was a lot of blood sweat and tears. But a lot of help- which I could never have done this without.
My husband brought a Stairmaster from the gym and put it in the living room so that while the baby slept I could get my cardio in if i wasn’t at the gym working.

If you don't know how to track your Marcos, make half of your plate protein , the rest can be fats and veggies or carbs and veggies. Try to eat every 3 hours and DON'T be afraid to eat before you sleep, trust me it ain't gonna make you fat. Try to avoid condiments because they are loaded with unwanted calories most likely sugar. And finally, STAY AWAY from juices. .

Yes, I used to be the one “no bulking bro, just stay lean all year round and grow quality muscles” but it was a mistake for a skinny guy like me! We do have super high metabolism that burn calories faster than our car fuel. 🤣
My bodyweight is almost 90kg now and I thought I will join the one pack club or “bulking for life” with surplus calories intake.

Kto mnie zna ten wie że staram się byś perfekcyjny w kwestii techniki, rozgrzewki i szeroko pojętego dbania o swoje ciało. Dlatego jestem rozgoryczony, że najbliższy tydzień muszę odpuścić i dojść do siebie. 🙄
Cierpliwość, najlepsza rada jaką usłyszałem, często mi jej brakuje, ale spróbuję ją zrealizować 🙏

This paper is a review that shows many studies and dosing patterns for BA, with some dosing 3x a day and some 2x a day, but all studies reaching some saturation point over 4-10 weeks before seeing results. Taking it once in a preworkout isn't really doing anything and I haven't seen a study to show acute results from BA. I personally don't like BA Bc of the paresthesia, but there is a supplement coming soon which has data to show it blocks the "tingling" side effect of BA. I am excited to try that out with a high dose of BA.
