I came back a few times and never failed to have an excellent night. The shrimp paste chicken wings were _special_. 🍤🍗

Throughout Hong Kong, I found that the best food is on the streets, without wine glasses or more than one fork or spoon at the table. However, an exception must be made for @mott32hk , because it was actually one of the best meals of this year, and one of the top 10 in the last 365 days. The lychee panna cotta was super light and creamy, and it had the perfect amount of acidity to cut through the fat. The Crab and tobiko fried rice was not a gimmick at all, and the tobiko actually helped with the oceanic flavor of the rice. The hot and sour soup dumplings were weirdly a perfect combo of the hot and sour soup we had at the China Club and the xiao lung bao at Din Tai Fung. The octopus was SUPER CRISPY and you could tell it was so fresh. And lastly, the mushroom spring rolls were so earthy and really crispy as well. All of the dishes here reminded me of a takeout dish at home, or a flavor from noodletown NYC (one of my favorite restaurants in New York). After dining here I concluded that (in my opinion) a good fine dining restaurant doesn’t just make good food, it should probably remind you of a certain flavor but present it in a totally different way or technique. But yeah good meal
