It may seem like it would take a lot of time to dice up all of these wholesome ingredients, but it actually takes just a few minutes. 😍And it’s totally worth it, since you can use this salsa as a base for creating lots of other great toppings, so I always make a double or triple batch!

One of my favorite ways to use this tasty salsa is as the perfect base for whipping up the tastiest guacamole ever🥑 - head over to @whole30recipes for my guac recipe and tips for freezing it! Another great option is to add a 1/2 cup each of fresh diced 🍍pineapple and mango to create a delicious, tropical-inspired topping for grilled fish or chicken.

The Ultimate Pico de Gallo
2 1/2 cups diced plum tomatoes (about 5-6)
1/2 cup fine-diced red onion
1/4 cup fresh chopped cilantro
1 small jalapeño, finely minced
1 clove garlic, finely minced
Juice of 1 lime
1/2 teaspoon sea salt

1•Carefully dice the plum tomatoes. An easy method is to quarter the tomatoes and then cut each quarter in half, as shown in the photo above. Remove the membrane and any excess seeds. Then, dice into small bite-sized pieces.
2•In a medium bowl, add all of the pico de gallo ingredients and toss well to combine. Taste and add additional salt, if needed.
3•Transfer to a serving dish and enjoy with your favorite latin-inspired and Tex-Mex-style recipes, or use it as a base to create the tastiest guacamole ever!

Recently, I was reminded why I chose this career and why I love doing what I do. Wildlife has always been my favorite subject to photograph since I could remember holding a camera. Onthe recent flight back home to Minnesota, I was asked why I love photographing wildlife. After a moment of thinking, it came down to one simple answer, authenticity. Wildlife doesn't have to try to be anything than just what it is. When photographing an animal that's not trying to shield itself or portray a certain image to you. That animal is authentic and it's just being exactly what it needs to be. Sometimes I forget, with the hustle and bustle of life, who I really am and what I am up to in life. Taking the time to step back, be thankful and to remember the important things in life reminds me to just keep being authentic to myself and those around me. I want to thank everyone this 2018 season and wish you all happy holidays!

6 tablespoons butter, softened, divided
3 tablespoons mayonnaise
3 tablespoons finely shredded Manchego or Parmesan cheese
1/8 teaspoon onion powder
8 slices sourdough bread
4 ounces Brie cheese, rind removed and sliced
1/2 cup shredded sharp white cheddar cheese
1/2 cup shredded Monterey Jack cheese
1/2 cup shredded Gruyere cheese
1 cup fresh blackberries
Directions
Spread 3 tablespoons butter on one side of each slice of bread. Place bread, butter side down, in a large skillet or electric griddle over medium-low heat until golden brown, 2-3 minutes; remove. In a small bowl, combine cheddar, Monterey Jack and Gruyere. In another bowl, mix together remaining 3 tablespoons butter, mayonnaise, Manchego cheese and onion powder.
To assemble sandwiches, top toasted side of 4 bread slices with sliced brie. Sprinkle cheddar cheese mixture evenly over brie; add blackberries. Top with remaining bread slices, toasted side facing inwards. Spread the butter-mayonnaise mixture on the outsides of each sandwich. Place in same skillet and cook until golden brown and cheese is melted, 5-6 minutes on each side. Serve immediately.

Ingredients

6 corn on the cob
80g unsalted butter
1 lime
3 tbsp fresh coriander
20g parmesan
Total time required: 15 mins

Preparation time: 5 mins
Cooking time: 10 mins

Instructions

1) Place the corn in boiling, salted water and cook for 5 minutes or until warmed through.
2) In a bowl, mix together the softened butter, lime juice and zest and half the coriander, then season to taste.
3) When you are ready to barbecue, remove the corn from the water and pat dry with kitchen roll. Barbecue for 3-4 minutes, rotating each piece regularly until lightly charred on all sides.
4) Place in a serving dish and spread each piece liberally with the lime and coriander butter. Sprinkle over the Parmesan and the remaining coriander and serve immediately.

So after 2 failed attempts, nakuha din mag sub2. First try was Nov 2015, peak ng TBR training yun halos every weekend naka signup kami sa takbo. I did 5:1 or 6:1 run/walk intervals and surprisingly finished in 2:08. disappointed but happy kasi new PR yun... tried again sa skyway feb 2016, 2 weeks before TBR. not counted kasi hindi sya PF challenge but set a new PR of 2:01! I was crying inside sa last 2 kilometers kasi nag side stitches nako pero humahabol ka parin sa oras 😥 pamatay din yung DOMS after mga 1 week yata yun haha natakot na ako mag attempt mag sub2 after that... tried again last yr and that was a disaster! set a new personal worst at 2:17 ang ironic ☹️
Definitely wanted to get it this year, kaya lang hindi pa nag uumpisa yung race I was already thinking of the excuses I'm gonna make pag hindi ako umabot... from the sangria ni Rein, to the tequila shots ni Meds, to the whole Banayad party, to my earphones getting broken and lazada not delivering my order, to the KB competition na bumawas sa training mileage, to 360 ortigas moving to tektite, to running on the treadmill... haha I was so nervous at the starting line, mabuti nakita ko Louie, sabi ko try ko sumabay sa'yo kung hanggang saan kayanin. sabi lang sya sakin "basta try mo wag bumaba ng 6mins sa first 10k" so ayun sinubukan ko sumabay kay Louie pero parang 1k palang feeling ko nasusunog nako kaya bumitaw na ko. I just tried to be ahead of the sub 2 pacers but eventually they caught up with me at around 7k. So sumabay nalang ako sa kanila... Grabe, I owe it all to them! they kept on updating kung anong pace namin, anong distance na and they even count 5 seconds pag humihinto kami sa hydration.

*********** CHICKEN AND ZUCCHINI POPPERS
INGREDIENTS
1 lb. ground chicken breast
2c grated zucchini (leave peel on and squeeze out some of the liquid with paper towels or a clean kitchen towel)
2-3 green onions, sliced
3-4 Tbsp cilantro, minced
1 clove garlic
1 tsp salt
½ tsp pepper
(optional: ¾ tsp cumin)
olive oil, for cooking (or coconut oil, avocado oil, or ghee)

INSTRUCTIONS

Toss chicken with zucchini, green onion, cilantro, garlic, salt, and pepper (and cumin, if using). Mixture will be quite wet.
To cook on the stovetop:
Heat a drizzle of olive oil in a medium pan over medium heat. Use a small scoop or a heaped tablespoon to scoop meatballs into the pan. Cook 8-10 at a time for about 5-6 minutes on the first side. Flip and cook an additional 4-5 minutes, or until golden brown and the centers are cooked through.
To bake:
Drizzle a bit of olive or avocado oil onto a baking sheet. Scoop meatballs onto the greased pan. Drizzle a bit of additional oil over the meatballs. Bake at 400 degrees 20-25 minutes, or until cooked through. If desired, place under the broiler for an additional 2-3 minutes or until browned on top.

Current weight: about 135-139 fluctuating! These photos represent some weight loss/fat loss, some leaner muscles, illusion of a smaller waist/hip area. All posterior chain improvements because it has been my focus for the last 3-6 months. Lost about 5-6% body fat overall!

Here's your plan:
Double this recipe, and make 2 batches at a time. One for dinner to serve immediately, the second half to put into glass storage containers and to pull out for DELICIOUS meals over the next few days. 🤜🤛

makes about 4 bowls
Ingredients:
8 boneless skinless chicken thighs
2 Tbsps avocado oil, or olive oil, divided
15 oz. black beans, drained and rinsed if using canned
1 Tbsp + 2 tsp taco seasoning (I have a good homemade taco seasoning recipe on the website!)
sea salt and freshly ground black pepper, to your taste
1 cup uncooked brown rice
2 1/2 cups water, or bone broth
a small bunch of fresh cilantro leaves, chopped
1 fresh lime, juiced
2 cups lettuce of choice, shredded
1 ripe avocado, sliced or chopped
extra topping ideas: pico de gallo, lime wedges, additional cilantro
Instructions:
In a large saucepan whisk water/broth, 1 Tbsp oil, pinch sea salt, pepper and 2 teaspoons of the taco seasoning, then bring to the boil. Stir in rice and simmer, covered, for 15-17 minutes or until liquid is absorbed and rice is just tender.
Meanwhile, rub chicken breasts on both sides with 1 Tablespoon taco seasoning.
Heat remaining oil in a large skillet over medium high heat. Add chicken and cook for 5-6 minutes per side, or until cooked through and no longer pink in the inside. Let chicken rest on a board for a few minutes, then slice it thin.
Once the rice has cooled a bit stir in the fresh lime juice and cilantro leaves until combined well with the rice.
To assemble the bowls, divide equally among 4 bowls:
rice, chicken and beans over rice, lettuce, and avocado then top as desired.

These bowls are fantastic eaten immediately, but also great as meal prep.
They stay well in the fridge if covered, for 3-4 days.

It's that time for football treats! I thought, ya know I still want to make those gains, not get all fluffy for fall (ain't nobody want that) and I need get some protein in for my body to stay in that fat burning state... so I said "what the hay," let's put some protein in my first buckeyes ever!
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
1. 1 cup of all natural peanut butter
2. 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
3. 2 scoop Level 1 Vanilla Protein (I used level 1 ice cream sandwich)
4. 1 tablespoon Almond Milk
5. 2 tablespoons of honey (I used raw honey)
6. 1 cup dark chocolate morsels
7. 1 Tablespoon coconut oil
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Directions:
1. Combine peanut butter, vanilla, protein powder, almond milk and honey in a medium-size bowl. Mix until the texture is like cookie dough.
2. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Using a 1 tablespoon, scoop dough into your hand. Roll into a ball and place on paper. Repeat.
3. Place baking sheet in freezer ~ 30 minutes, or long enough for the bites to be firm.
4. While bites are chilling. Place 1 cup chocolate chips in a small bowl. You want it to be big enough to fit the chocolate chips, but small enough so that you can dip the bites. Microwave for about 60 seconds. Then, add in coconut oil and mix.
5. Once your bites have firmed up, it’s time to dip and place on a cookie drying rack to prevent any rings from forming. Place a ball on the end of a toothpick. Dip ball into chocolate, leaving a ring at the tip. Use a toothpick to slide the ball off the fork onto your drying rack. Repeat.

I started our morning routine a long time ago and it has helped my children develop a sense of calmness, cooperation, self-discipline ... My children are able to do things for themselves but I find that school mornings can sometimes be hectic and we want to do things for them to hurry out the house😄😄. I started our morning routine a long time ago and it has helped my children develop a sense of calmness, cooperation, self-discipline and self-reliance. Our morning routine (shortened):
1. I wake up between 6.00am and 6.30am, shower and get dressed
2. Prepare their school snacks (they are not allowed to bring hot food to school)
3. Prepare the their bath
4. Go to their room, they are usually up at 7am, we say our prayer, Micah makes his bed (it doesn’t have to be perfect, it’s doing it that counts) and we go down for bath time.
5. They take off their clothes themselves and put in the laundry basket.
6. After bath time, I deal with their hair and skin while they get dressed themselves (I assist Eli if she asks). 7. Go downstairs for breakfast and the first thing they that have is a glass of water. Then breakfast and a fruit and yogurt (some days)
8. Put on their shoes (the peg method) and their jackets themselves. Apply lip balm and their perfume and we are ready to leave home..
The entire process takes on average 45 minutes. It also ensures no yelling in the morning, no tears and they are usually calm with lots of smiles and it’s so important to me that we say a prayer together every morning before they head out to school. some strategies that help our morning routine go smoothly:
1. sleep - Micah needs at least 11 hours of sleep, while Eli needs 11.5 -12hours of sleep. Sleep is essential to both their physical well-being and their mental health - when my kids don’t sleep well.. oh my, they are little monsters 😂😂😩😩😱
2. Lay out their uniform and clothes the night before - this step doesn’t take 5 minutes but it makes a huge difference.
3. Have a meal plan and ensure they have a balanced, nutritious breakfast
4. Be calm. Sometimes things don’t go according to plan, try not to lose your cool so early in the morning - you want your kids to start their day on a happy, positive note😉

I love that the NLT translation uses the word "clearheaded" in these verses. In order for us to seek after Christ with our whole being, our heads and hearts must be clear of worldly things and focused completely on Christ. We cannot expect to indulge our flesh and enjoy the pleasures of the world and seek Christ at the same time. The two simply do not mix.

Galatians 5:16-17 "So I say, let the Holy Spirit guide your lives. Then you won’t be doing what your sinful nature craves. The sinful nature wants to do evil, which is just the opposite of what the Spirit wants. And the Spirit gives us desires that are the opposite of what the sinful nature desires. These two forces are constantly fighting each other, so you are not free to carry out your good intentions."

Our earthly bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit (1 Corinthians 6:19-20), and after we enter into a relationship with God the Holy Spirit begins to reside in us. Within our hearts and minds, the Holy Spirit and our flesh are constantly battling for control over our thoughts and actions. We decide who the victor is. We control the outcome. It is up to us to submit to God and His desires for us and allow the Holy Spirit to conquer the desires of our flesh. More and more submission. The key point in this is that we cannot overcome the desires of our flesh alone, only the Holy Spirit in us can. We cannot expected to have a clear head and clear focus without help from God. The good news? He desires to help us succeed, and He will always come through. Talk about grace upon grace.

Ingredients (serves 3):
2 tablespoons olive oil
2 cloves garlic (crushed)
2 tins chopped tomatoes
2 tablespoons tomato purée
1 tablespoon paprika
1 small chilli, deseeded and chopped
5 eggs
1 onion, diced
Feta cheese
150g mushrooms, thinly sliced and stems removed
Sea salt and pepper
Za’atar and shakshuka spice mix (optional)
1 large avocado (for serving)
1 lime

METHOD:
1. Heat oil in a large frying pan over a medium-low heat. Gently sauté onions until softened.
2. Add in mushrooms and cook for 2 minutes. Season well with sea salt, pepper and crushed garlic. Stir for a further few minutes.
3. Add deseeded diced chilli and season with paprika.
4. Stir the tinned tomato, purée and remaining spices in and stir for 10 minutes on a low heat to allow the spices to infuse into it and let the tomato sauce reduce.
5. Make a little hole in the sauce and crack in the egg, repeat with the remaining eggs.
6. Cook covered until the eggs are set (approx 7 minutes) or put under the grill for 5 minutes! Season with with sea salt and pepper.
7. Remove from the heat and crumble feta cheese on top. Serve from the pan, with lime juice smashed avocado if desired on the side. #CameraEatsFirst

For the Meatballs:
1 pound ground pork or beef
1 egg, beaten
1/2 large white onion, diced
1/4 cup each - fresh mint & fresh parsley, chopped
2 tablespoons dried oregano
1 tablespoon minced garlic
1 teaspoon cumin
1/2 teaspoon chili powder
1/8 teaspoon each salt & pepper
For the Soup:
5-6 baby blonde potatoes, peeled and diced OR 2 medium/large potatoes, peeled and diced
1 large carrot, peeled and diced
1/2 large white onion, diced
3 cups water & 3 cups beef broth (check your labels!)
1 (14 ounce) can of diced tomatoes with liquid
2 tablespoons each olive oil and minced garlic
1/8 tablespoon cayenne pepper
Juice from 1/2 lemon
1/4 cup fresh chopped cilantro

🍴Directions:
Meatballs:
Mix all ingredients together & roll into half dollar sized meatballs, set aside
For the Soup:
Add olive oil, garlic & onion to a large stock pot over medium heat
Let sauté until garlic is fragrant then add in carrots & potatoes, cooking for 3-4 minutes
Add in all other ingredients except meatballs & bring to a simmer
Once simmering, turn down heat a touch & gently add in meatballs
Cover & let cook for 15-20 minutes until meat & veggies are cooked thoroughly

1. Step One: "The Take Down." I'm severely tender headed so the slightest of discomfort, you'll know! To make the process better, I used @cremeofnature's Pure Honey Detangler on my hair to soften the strands as I combed out my hair.

2. Step Two: Deep Condition. With almost 2 months with barely any TLC, I had to show my curls some love with @edenbodyworks "Almond and Marshmallow Split End Repair Masque." Deep conditioning for 45 minutes and rinsed with cool water.

Step 2.5: "More Conditioning!" My Hair isn't fond of shampoo, so the deep masque was good enough. To combat the excessive breakages (which was expected), I used @edenbodyworks "Almond Marshallow Leave-In Conditioner," sectioning the hair off to prepare for the rod set.

Step Three: "Guaranteed Wetness!" I know the title sounds inappropriate, but my hair tends to get dry during the rod process. To keep my hair "wet," I used @cremeofnature "Coconut Milk Curl Quench Foaming Mousse" on each section. My hair loves ANYTHING coconut, so I knew the hydration would be present.

Step Four: "Curl Preparation." Using @edenbodyworks "Hibiscus Honey Hydration Custard" on each section, I noticed my curls POPPED. It was my first time using the product so I was unsure if my curls would hold. Playing it safe, I also applied @camillerosenaturals "Aloe Whipped Butter Gel" because my hair LOVES it. After each, I applied the rods.

Step Five: "Making Magic!" Perm rods are applied with a twisting and wrap around method to give a long curl option for the new length.

Постный говяжий стейк замаринуйте предварительно в смеси 1 ст.л. соевого
соуса и 1 ст.л. рыбного соуса (если такой не найдете - смело увеличивайте
соевый соус в два раза)
Через полчаса жарьте стейк с обеих сторон на гриле или обычной
сковороде.
Достаточно 5-6 минут, но можно ориентироваться на свои вкусовые предпочтения: кто-то любит хорошо прожаренное мясо, а кто-то
предпочитает сочный стейк с кровью.
На хрустящий ароматный хлеб (я беру Harry’s American Sandwich 7 злаков) положите несколько листиков свежего шпината и кружочки помидора, порезанное тонкими ломтиками мясо.
Обязательно полейте все соусом, для этого соедините 1 ст.л. соевого соуса,
1 ст.л. рыбного соуса, сок половины лайма и щепотку сахара (можно взять
мед с ним будет еще ароматнее и ярче вкус)

INGREDIENTS

for the crockpot
2 cups butternut squash (peeled and cubed)
2 cups carrots (peeled and sliced)
2 cups potatoes (chopped)
2 cups celery (chopped)
1 cup green lentils
3/4 cup yellow split peas (or just use more lentils)
1 onion (chopped)
5 cloves garlic (minced)
8-10 cups vegetable or chicken broth
2 teaspoons herbs de provence
1 teaspoon salt (more to taste)

2-3 cups kale (stems removed, chopped)
1 cup parsley (chopped)
1/2 cup olive oil – rosemary olive oil or other herb infused oil is delicious, a swish of sherry, red wine vinegar, or lemon juice to add a nice tangy bite

INSTRUCTIONS
1. Place all ingredients in the crockpot. Cover and cook on high for 5-6 hours or low for 7-8 hours.
2. Place about 4 cups of soup in a blender with the olive oil. Pulse gently until semi-smooth and creamy-looking (the oil will form a creamy emulsion with the soup). Add back to the pot and stir to combine. Stir in the kale and parsley. Turn the heat off and just let everything chill out for a bit before serving. The taste gets better with time and so does the texture, IMO!
3. Season to taste (add the sherry, vinegar, and/or lemon juice at this point) and to really go next level, serve with crusty wheat bread and a little Parmesan cheese. It’s called Detox Balance

There is so much flavor packed into these bowls and you change them up with any different vegetables you like! They're perfect for meal prepping in advance to have a lunch or dinner ready in moments!

Ingredients:

-2 lbs. boneless skinless chicken breasts, cut into small pieces.
.
-3 tablespoons spicy seasoning mix (see below)
a few tablespoons of olive oil
3 sweet potatoes, peeled and diced
5-6 cups broccoli florets (broccolini FTW)
coarse sea salt and freshly cracked pepper
anything you want to add to your bowls : avocado / hummus / lemon juice / chives / olive oil for serving.

Instructions

Preheat the oven to 425 degrees. Toss the chicken pieces with the spices and a quick stream of olive oil. Stir to combine; store in the fridge for about 30 minutes while you prep other ingredients.

Arrange the vegetables on their own sheet pans (preferably ones with edges to catch drips, etc.). Drizzle with olive oil and sprinkle generously with salt. Arrange the chicken on a separate sheet pan.
Bake all ingredients for 12-15 minutes. Remove the broccoli and chicken. Stir sweet potatoes and roast another 15 minutes or so.

Done! Divide your servings out into containers and be happy you have meal starters ready for the week!
For the spicy seasoning mix, you can use Perfect Pinch Cajun Seasoning, but I used a homemade mix of the following :
Seasoning Mix : 1 teaspoon salt (original calls for 2 tsp, feel free to add more if needed!), 2 teaspoons garlic powder, 2½ teaspoons paprika, 1 teaspoon pepper, 1 teaspoon onion powder, 1 teaspoon cayenne pepper, 1¼ teaspoons dried oregano, 1¼ teaspoons dried thyme, and ½ teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes (optional)

I'm happy to have the arts and dance in my life, to continue to drive my passion. I'm also thankful for my friends for being my constants in life.

Za glazuru: 100 g čokolade, 2-3 kašike ulja
Priprema:
Odvojite belanca od žumanaca. Belanca penasto umutite sa šećerom, isključite mikser. Dodajte žumanca i promešajte kašikom.
Dodajte koricu limuna, dve kašike lešnika, orahe. Brašno i griz pomešajte sa praškom za pecivo pa i to dodajte. Na kraju dodajte jogurt i ulje i istopljenu čokoladu. Sve dobro izmešajte. Duguljasti pleh obložite papirom za pečenje pa u njega kašikom sipajte polovinu smese.
Kruške operite, odstranite im peteljke pa ih poređajte celom dužinom pleha po sredini. Od gore stavite ostatak pripremljene smese.
Pecite u prethodno zagrejanoj rerni na 180 stepeni oko 30 minuta. Ostavite da se malo prohladi. Za to vreme na tihoj vatri istopite čokoladu sa uljem pa time prelijte kolač. Rashladite ga pa secite na parčad i služite.

This look is perfect for when you don't have time to wash your hair or for mehndi/ ladies sangeet events! .
Step 1: Part your hair in the middle and you can also tease it in the back a little, if you'd like. My hair was also curled before starting using the @t3micro Tousled Waves 1.25" - 0.75" Barrel. You can curl/wave your hair for more textured braids .
Step 2: Grab a small section of hair at the top of your part and split it into 3 strands .
Step 3: Take the right strand and place it over the middle so that becomes the new middle strand .
Step 4: Now repeat that with the left strand - place it over the middle .
Step 5: Go back to the right strand and add a small section of hair, and place all of that over the middle .
Step 6: Do the same with the left strand - add a small section of hair and put over the middle .
*remember to pull tight after every braid* Step 7: Repeat steps 5 & 6, until you've added in all your hair from that side of the part .
Step 8: Once you've tied your braid below the ear, you want to expand it. For a French braid, you want to softly pull apart little by little until you are satisfied with how it looks. Be careful not to pull too hard especially if you have layers .
Step 9: Pulling your French braid apart will cause your hair to become frizzy and you'll start seeing flyaways, so make sure you hairspray that section down .
Step 10: You want to grab a small section of hair from your pigtail and cover your elastic band. Bobby pin that section into place.
Step 11: I decided I wanted more curls at the bottom of my pigtails so I went in with a curling iron real quick! .

На полтора месяца я отказываюсь от сахара, мучного и всего что сладкое на язык (может быть за редким исключением раз в неделю, посмотрим как пойдёт), тренируюсь 5-6 раз в неделю. Когда силовой тренинг, а когда кардио - буду смотреть по самочувствию. Ну что, Игорек, погнали!)

He’s got a spot in Costa, a crib in Indo, and a few other places too...this board is for Indo; a little spot just outside of Canggu...for the average head high to slightly overhead days, and for getting into the barrel easy and early, with a wide open sweet spot, a drivey board that will do crisp gafs in the pocket; an “easy” board that lets you get speed easy, but will also carve it up lightning fast...so that’s how I came up with this design combo cause that’s just what it does :) It’s epoxy with a high density foam tensioner down the center for a smoother ride than typical epoxy, yet maintains that nice lively whippy feel in maneuvers that’s so nice about epoxy. There’s strategically placed carbon down the center and on the tail to keep the “stompin’ spots” from crushing out.
I met Andrew years ago in Peru on a really good swell run. We’ve been dialing in different boards for different waves for a good stretch since that time. It’s always fun to catch up on his travels and the different wave locales he’s sampling, and to dial in the specialized tune-ins for his sheath of arrows on his unique surfing journey.

Grilled Steak & Shrimp slathered in garlic butter makes for the BEST steak recipe! A gourmet steak dinner that tastes like something out of a restaurant, ready and on the table in less than 15 minutes.

Ingredients
6 tablespoons unsalted butter, divided
4 cloves garlic, (or 1 tablespoon minced garlic)
1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped
1 tablespoon olive oil
4 New York Steak strip steaks (Porterhouse steaks)
Salt and pepper
8 ounces (250 g) shrimp deveined, tails on or off

Instructions
Mix together butter, garlic and fresh chopped parsley. Refrigerate until ready to use.
Heat a large grill over high heat. Lightly grease grill plates with oil. Pat steaks dry with paper towel. Brush lightly with oil and generously season with salt and pepper.
Grill steaks for 4-5 minutes each side until browned and cooked to desired doneness. Spread half of the butter all over of steaks. Transfer steaks to a warm plate and let rest for 5 minutes.
While steaks are resting, melt remaining butter. Season shrimp with salt and pepper.
Reduce heat to medium and grill your shrimp for 5-6 minutes, depending not the size and thickness of your shrimp. Flip each one halfway through cook time and continue cooking until they turn nice and pink in colour while white and opaque on the inside.
Recipe Notes
For steaks, you can use Strip, Sirloin, Rib eye, T-bone, Eye fillet, Scotch fillet or Porterhouse steaks.
Tail on or off shrimp are fine. If grilling frozen shrimp, thaw first and pat dry with paper towel before grilling.

I think this one is a good depiction of this time of year, the days are getting longer, vegetation is drying out and we are starting to get some hot days. I originally took these photos for myself, but here they are🤷🏻‍♀️. I start a 6 week cut tomorrow and I want to keep track of my progress. So to have not only myself to hold me accountable but also whoever is out there watching me😂. I’m not following anyone’s plan, just one I created on my own. This will be steady and attainable. I will never be that girl who goes hungry and does an hour of cardio, ffff that. Yes I am going to continue eating carbs, just not as many haha. I enjoy #iifym so I will stick to that and adjust my macros if I don’t see a change. Cardio will be used as a tool, for example I was doing 10 minutes of cardio 3-4 times a week so I will increase the time to 20 minutes of HIIT instead for the first couple weeks. Oh did I mention I’m also incorporating yoga 2X’s a week? A new challenge for me and I’m excited! Do what fuels your soul🙌🏻. #mondaymotivation #gettingfitforthewedding

Read on to learn all about Adam Williams second-ever aerial photography experience: "We all have moments where things don't go exactly to plan, here is a particularly special moment of my own:

At the time I was somewhat of a novice when it came to aerial photography, (My second time ever attempting this genre.) The Light Collective guys I was shooting with gave me the run down of the ideal settings for the fast pace of aerial photography, shutter speeds of 1500+2000, aperture fairly wide, F5.6 was my starting point getting out to F8 as the light got brighter, and the ISO set to auto with a threshold of 800.

2 hrs in and everything was going perfect, I thought it was about time to switch to the Nikon 24-70mm.

Now I only had one camera body in the plane, rookie error, I guess, but when that’s all you have, you do what you have to do.

I soon found out that as opposed to the 35mm which only protrudes from the body roughly 2 inches, the 24-70mm was a very different beast, the 10 inches or so of lens was like a windsock and I’m trying to accurately point the camera in the direction of interesting stuff, which for the most part was outside the plane, in the direct path of the hurricane force winds.

After roughly 20 mins of shooting with the 24-70mm things go wrong! The lens release button is right where my left-hand index finger is ferociously gripping the camera. And I guess I was hanging on so tight that I didn’t realise that I had pressed it, tucked in behind the viewfinder I reached for the zoom ring with 2 fingers to get in a little bit tighter on a detail when Wooooooooosh, I feel the lens slip through my fingers and the camera feels a lot different to a second ago, reality hits that this is going to be a very expensive flight indeed.

I say gentle in the broadest of terms. First up is this Ferrari 512s driven by Mark Hale. Running a five litre v12, pushing out around 560 horsepower, the 512 name derived from the engine stats, it was built to compete in endurance races and debuted at the 24 hours of Daytona in 1970, and took its first win in the 12 Hours of Sebring in the same year. Also out on track was the car that killed off the 512’s predecessor, the Ford GT40, the mark one GT40 used the 289 Windsor V8 found in most blue oval products at the time, and ran a 5 speed ZF manual transmission. The mark two made use of the much bigger 7 litre unit from the Galaxie and a tougher 4 speed transmission and this is the set up that brought around the famed 1-2-3 victory in 1966 at Le Mans.

How easy was it for you to capture?

For me, it was on March 13, 2013 when comet PANSTARRS was at its closest and most visible from Earth. Even being obsessed with space and astronomy and being a photographer my whole life, I had never pursed astro photography. But this day I was on a mission.
This is the first astro photo I ever shot. After a few or more than a few test shots..

More takeout cravings? SOLVED. This is one of my all-time favorite recipes, inspired by one of my favorite restaurant dishes EVER. Talk about flavor explosion, and super easy to throw together too. Feel free to switch it up with your favorite sautéed or roasted veggies (I like sautéed snap peas and carrots!). Serve with cauliflower rice!

Red Curry Coconut Soup with Shrimp

Serves 4
Prep: 10m | Cook: 20m

✨  Ingredients ✨
½ lb raw shrimp, peeled
2 Tbsp coconut oil, divided
½ medium onion, diced
1 small head broccoli, chopped into florets
2 tsp minced garlic
2 tsp minced ginger
4 Tbsp thai red curry paste
1 ½ cups chicken broth
2 cans (13.5oz) full-fat coconut milk
1 Tbsp fish sauce
2 tsp lemongrass
1 red pepper, sliced thin
½ tsp sea salt
fresh ground black pepper, to taste

✨  Directions✨
1. COMBINE coconut milk, 1 ¼ cups of the broth, fish sauce, and lemongrass in a small bowl. Whisk until any lumps in the coconut milk are broken up. Set aside.
2. HEAT a medium soup pot with 1 Tbsp coconut oil. Once the pan is hot, carefully add the shrimp, then cook for about 1-2 minutes on each side, until the outsides are seared and pink but the inside isn’t completely cooked through. Remove shrimp from pan and set aside.
3. IN the soup pan, heat the second Tbsp coconut oil and add onions, ginger and garlic, + a small pinch of salt. Sauté over medium heat for about 5 minutes until onions start to become translucent. Stir every minute or so.
4. WHILE the onions are cooking, steam the broccoli. Put the broccoli in a microwave-safe dish with about ¼ cup of broth, put a lid on, and set the microwave for 5 minutes.
5. AFTER the onions are translucent (about 5-6 minutes), stir in curry paste for 30 seconds, then whisk in coconut milk mixture + ½ tsp sea salt.
6. TURN heat to medium low and cook for 5 minutes. Add red peppers + broccoli and turn the heat down to a simmer. Cook an additional 5 minutes.
6. ADJUST salt + pepper. ADD shrimp when ready to serve.

From my own anecdotal evidence, the reason these goals fall short is primarily due to not fully committing to the primary goal. ⁣

👀 Eyes on the Prize Mindset ⁣

1️⃣ Establish your goal⁣
2️⃣ Diet and training must both be coordinated toward the desired goal⁣
3️⃣ For the love of God, DO NOT blend and work toward two different goals together within the same time frame if you want to maximize results.⁣
❌❌ To explain in further detail, if your goal is to build muscle then you want to train for hypertrophy (moderate volume and weight). You also want to fuel this high calorie dependent training with adequate protein, fat, and carbohydrates, which should put you into a caloric surplus. YOU DO NOT want to hit the track 6 days a week for 1.5 hours of cardio and try out the new Paleo diet, putting you into a caloric deficit. This is a great way to reduce the effectiveness of your effort and make your goal a lot more difficult to attain.⁣

💪How I am currently focusing on my goal:⁣

🥅Goal: ⁣
-Maximize my rebound from my bodybuilding show (high insulin sensitivity and high response to hypertrophy training due to new stimuli).⁣
❓How: ⁣
-Training 5-6 days/week for an average of 2 hours at a time⁣
-Training revolves around 1-2 multi-joint movements to begin each workout. 2-3 accessory movements to stimulate muscle. All exercises done in 8-15 rep range.⁣
-Eating in a caloric surplus⁣
Macros:⁣
240g Protein⁣
500g Carbs⁣
100g Fat⁣

Currently 240lbs in the morning⁣

Join Teen Cancer America Ambassador and Duke Director of Basketball Operations, Nolan Smith, and friends (current and former NCAA and NBA players) to help raise money for Teen Cancer America on August 26th at Cameron Indoor Stadium, the home of the Duke Blue Devils in Durham. Participants will shoot baskets to raise funds for Teen Cancer America. Each participant will have three (3) minutes to make as many baskets as possible on the court.

makes about 5-6 servings
Ingredients:
1.5 lbs lean ground turkey meat
1 Tbsp avocado oil, or olive oil
1 yellow onion, diced
2-3 fresh garlic cloves, minced
15 ounce jar diced tomatoes, with juice
2 cups broth, or stock (anything works here! Beef bone broth, vegetable stock; whatever you have on hand)
2 Tbsps organic tomato paste
15 oz chickpeas, ready-to-eat, drained and rinsed
15 oz black beans, ready-to-eat, drained and rinsed
15 oz Cannellini, OR red/kidney beans, ready-to-eat, drained and rinsed
1 small sweet red bell pepper, diced
4.5-5 oz jar chopped chilies (mild-med-OR hot...your choice!)
1 Tbsp smoked paprika
1 tsp ground cumin
Toppings ideas: sliced red onion, jalapeno, fresh chopped cilantro, shredded cheddar, diced avocado, Greek yogurt

Instructions:
Heat oil in large saute pan to medium high-heat. Add in turkey and diced onion, then cook for 5 minutes, stirring and breaking the meat with a wooden spoon as you go.
Stir in garlic, paprika and cumin and cook for about 1 minute more, until fragrant.

Transfer the meat to your slow cooker. Add in the beans, bell peppers, chilies, chickpeas, diced tomatoes, tomato paste and broth.

Cook on HIGH for 4-6 hours or on LOW for 8-10. (I prefer the LOW setting if time allows)

Going back to Bible History of the Ark of the Covenant, there were 2 times the Ark was brought to war. The first time was when Joshua brought the Ark to take the City of Jericho in the Book of Joshua Chapter 6 and the 6th Book of the Bible. God had told them to march around the City 7 times. On the 7th time, to march around the City 7 times. The City of Jericho felled.

But the 2nd time the Ark was brought to war in 1 Samuel 4, the Ark was captured like Jesus was also captured by the enemies in His First coming in the Gospels.

What follows in 1 Samuel 5 and 6 was interesting.

The Ark was placed in the enemies' temple but their fake gods felled to the ground bowing to the Ark. And on the 2nd time, the statues were broken by the heads and hands and the enemies were inflicted with tumors and city infested with rats. Now the enemies realised they cannot keep the Ark. Just like our Lord Jesus Christ, even tho' He was delivered to the enemy and was crucified, death could not hold Him and He must return from Hell. The best part of the story is the Enemy today is now literally disabled!

1 Samuel 6:1 opens with the Ark in the enemies' hands for 7 months. A time of perfection. They asked the priest how can they return the Ark and the priest told them to return it with a trespass offering. 5 golden tumors (speaking of perfect grace over our diseases) and 5 golden rats (speaking of perfect grace over our sins) were given as an offering. Although 5 plus 5 speaks of the Law but it is Grace that sets the Law apart.

Got on the scale this morning, I’m down 1.5 lbs, 1 inch off waist and 2 inches off thighs. I’m loving this challenge!! 🌟*** 😀 I am down 3 lbs and 3 inches... 1" each in bust, waist and hips.*** And I will be honest 😔 and say I did not get as much sleep every day or exercise as much as I should every day. So... This week I plan to step up my rest/exercise pillars. Other three pillars are great!!! 🌟Down 3 lbs

On Passover and during the time of Unleavened Bread we are to honor the sacrifice of Yashua dying on the stake for our transgressions and rising from the grave. Yashua did not die on Good Friday nor did He rise from the grave on Easter. Nowhere from Genesis to Revelation is there any mention or command of a day called Easter nor a time called Holy Week nor Lent.
