But I also want to be transparent and not make it seem like everyone is 100% better in just a couple short months.  While YES many are able to feel a lot better in the short term and report great results, there is often still some things that needs to be worked on.

This client came to me with chronic body odor, anxiety, irregular/long cycles, skin breakouts, constipation, trouble falling asleep, and chronic sinus infections.  She was previously treated for candida which helped initially but then symptoms started to come back.😓🤕

We started with a comprehensive GI MAP stool test.  A mistake I see people make when treating candida is that they aren't looking for all pathogens that could be infecting the gut.  I never see candida by itself and it is often a secondary infection.  We also found h. pylori, parasites, and bacteria pathogens.  We also addressed her diet and lifestyle which is something that can't be skipped!💆‍♀️💆🏾‍♂️🛌🛀

After her initial customized protocol she reports lots of improvements!  But still is experiencing some symptoms that we will continue to investigate.  A retest of the GI MAP showed tremendous improvement but still somethings that need to be worked on.  I am confident she will get there because she continues to put in the work!👌 .

Your gut is so much more than just a place where food gets digested.  Your digestive tract is a complicated system that impacts the function, not only of nutrient absorption and waste, but of your immune, hormonal, and nervous system.  Often times the root cause of symptoms like period pain and cramps, acne, headaches, hair loss, mood swings, eczema, autoimmune diseases, IBS, mental/emotional, migraines, fatigue, difficulty loosing weight starts in your gut.  If left untreated things can only get worse or you can start developing more and more issues.😣

Your liver plays an important role. If you have a sluggish liver you can't clear estrogen and levels can build up. Is estrogen high because your body isn't breaking it down and getting rid of it?🤔

This is why I love using @dutchtest with my clients. This is a real life report which shows her high E1 and E2 estrogens (see the high guages?). But 2-OH, 4-OH, and 16-OH estrogen metabolites are low (see the low guages?).😱

This suggest a sluggish clearance of estrogen in the liver. Not that she is producing too much estrogen.🍄 ..

First of all I haven't shared this anywhere (because it's nacho business honestly), but this year I made it a point to finally figure out why I constantly felt bloated and sick no matter what I ate (when I ate the "cleanest" foods ever and also when I didn't eat). ..
After doctors took all my money, and multiple lab tests told me I was fine, I tool a leap of faith by talking to @theorganicdietitian (a functional diagnostic practitioner and dietitian) and having a LEAP and GI MAP test done.

It is a label often used by doctors when other diseases have been ruled out and they don't really know what is causing your symptoms.  If you meet certain criteria, your doctor will "diagnose" you with IBS.  You then may go on to get prescribed medications to help relieve your symptoms (which often have a list a side effects).

The problem with this is that the symptoms are merely being suppressed and the root cause is not being addressed.  When clients come to me they are usually dealing with hormone and digestive symptoms.  They are tired of feeling like crap, have tried a number of things to fix the problems, spent a lot of money, and don't know where else to turn.

That is why I love being able to use functional testing.  No more trial and error method of healing.  No more chasing symptoms!  We come up with a game plan designed specifically for you to find your root cause and heal it!

Cook ground beef with 3 cloves of garlic.
Sauce:
2 Tbsp coconut sugar
1/4 cup coconut aminos
2 tsp toasted sesame oil
1/4 tsp crushed red pepper flakes
1/4 tsp black pepper
1/2 tsp fresh grated ginger
Toss the sauce into cooked beef to let thicken.
Served with broccoli and white rice.
Done in 20 minutes. Still #realingredients!
