I’m proud to have been a guest on this week’s @pride podcast. We talk about bullying, coming out, interning, and much more! Shoutout to the amazing host @levichambers.

This is my mom back when everything was in black and white, and theatre kids were the cool kind of weird. She’s reading (what I’m assuming) is her bucket-list and is confused by the line item, “Be featured in an instagram post.” It’ll make sense in time. Or...it’s a script, which makes more sense, since she’s an actor. She’s also an amazing mom, but the Jules in this photo doesn’t know that yet.
Happy Mother’s Day Mom. I love you.❤️
Today marks a huge milestone for me. YouTube has played a monumental role in the growth of my friendships and career while empowering me to live out my wildest dreams, from hosting a nationwide tour and public speaking to producing for Disney and being on a silly reality show. Today my channel is being celebrated for passing 100,000 subscribers.
Since its launch in 2005, YouTube has impacted my life in countless ways. The same community that helped me come out of my shell was equally responsible for introducing me to my husband. In 2013, Section 3 of DOMA (The Defense of Marriage Act) was struck down and our audience quickly banded together to raise funds for our legal representation, resulting in @iamraynbow and I becoming some of the first same-sex fiancé visas approved in both Ireland and the US. And it all started on YouTube.
I’m sitting here tearing up, overcome with gratitude. Here’s to the future — more friends, more memories, more milestones! 😊🏆✨
