Anyone else feel like the wind has been knocked out of them? Since coming back from the UK, I’ve been quarantined from my family (only 10 more days to go!) and trying to do as much as I can to stay present and optimistic. This is a surreal and frightening experience to say the least, so before going online, potentially sparking even more helpless overwhelm, I decided to start my day differently. I went to the nearest bookshelf to find something that spoke to me. After picking the book, I closed my eyes, and asked it to show the page that had something to teach me today. I flipped the pages, opened my eyes, and read this stunning and unexpectedly relevant poem: “Things I Didn’t Know I Loved” by Nazim Hikmet. Hope you enjoy ♥️

A man of great integrity; a storyteller with hopes for our future; a master of scrambled eggs. I’m blessed, grateful, lucky, and, above all, proud to call you my dad. Happy Birthday Daddio ♥️
SWALLOW is an astonishing thriller/ comedy that is *meant* for a theatrical experience. The filmmaking and Haley Bennett’s performance are actually genius and will take your breath away. To experience it alone or at home would be a shame, so get all your friends and go to the theater! #SwallowMovie opens next Friday, 3/6 📌
