jusss a lil curly girl 🙇🏻‍♀️🤓 How many of you struggle with your thyroid? hypothyroidism / hyperthyroidism? When my thyroid was TANKED (legit producing NO thyroid hormone) around 2017, 2018 and some of 2019 I was sooo upset because one of my main side effects of having a slow functioning thyroid (hypothyroidism) is hair loss 😔 According to the ‘American Thyroid Association’ it is estimated that 20 million Americans have hormonal imbalances from thyroid disorders, and up to 60% of those with thyroid disease go undiagnosed. It’s extremely important to work with a doctor who can properly test you when it comes to your thyroid and blood work to have a comprehensive panel done. It has taken time and patience but I am happy to say that my thyroid has improved dramatically! A lot of this came down to... •managing my stress •balancing my hormones & blood sugar •eating more / not intermittent fasting as much like I used to •proper medication at the time (it took a few medications & different doses to find what worked) •eating whole real foods & thyroid supporting foods •getting my gut health on point was also HUGE! these are just a few things that kicked my thyroid back into gear & I’ve felt pretty dang good! A COVID VIBEEEE 🙃🤪😚😄 So many people saying 2020 is a write off year... but honestly 2020 for me has been a year of major change and growth. I know it’s been traumatic from different events all around the world, fighting a pandemic, being away from friends, family & loved ones... the unknown... it’s an interesting time to be alive but a time for us to wake up, tap into ourselves, make a difference, have a voice, channel our inner wisdom and be kind. What is your take on 2020? Feels like this year has been slow but also so fast?!... idk who else would agree but with 4 months left let’s make the most out of it shall we? #2020 #theyearofchange

I was never one for at home workouts... but #covidworkouts came in clutch when all gyms were closed and I had to make do with creativity in the living room 🤣 I would obviously prefer a gym... but I totally underestimated what you can get done at home! My last #MindfulBodyReset challenge was ALL at home workouts and these ladies saw great results! I’m super excited to offer the challenge again with workouts at home AND a gym based version for those who’s gyms are opening back up or would like to incorporate a mixture of both (what I’m currently doing!) HAPPY SUNDAY 🌞 coming at you with a mini ‘what i eat in a day’ - my eating somewhat changes on the regular because i practice more of a ‘mindful’ approach when it comes to nutrition.. i still keep in mind to make sure i’m eating adequate amounts of protein, carbs & healthy fats.. but i don’t follow a strict ‘diet’ nor do i track every little calorie.. eating in a way that truly lets me listen to my body along with understanding portion control & mindfulness around food has let my body RESPOND & feel fricken’ amazing 😊 come learn more about this approach in my next #MindfulBodyReset Challenge! www.mindfullywithin.com 🤍 here is a little recap of my meals here 👇 •start my day with some water, 1 TBS of apple cider vinegar & glutamine (always) •next up is my morning staple - a @vitalproteins collagen matcha latte 🍵 I will also add MCT oil, no matter what I have this every morning. •protein pancakes 🥞 made with 1 whole egg 🥚 some egg whites + sweet potato & pumpkin 😆 & yes I use REAL maple syrup 🍁 will also add some fruit on top! •if I want a snack I’ll have a dairy free yogurt, i like the @siggisdairy brand as of lately! •chicken, veggies & sweet potato 🍠 (I’ll switch up the protein for whatever I’m feelin that day & same with the carb option!) •protein oatmeal with peaches on top 🍑 i like this as a preworkout meal recently! •not pictured (salmon salad 🥗 at dinner!)

a woman came up to me at the gym yesterday and said “what are you like 16?!” andddd it was the best compliment one could receive as I’m approaching my late 20’s here in a few weeks 😬 I remember thinking when I was 16 I had it allllll planned out! LOL that’s cute 😂 definitely NOT.. 🤦🏻‍♀️ life can really change in an instant.. & I’ve come to realize that living life in the moment without expectations or planning all the details is the only way to truly live 🤍

(moody, tired af, ‘off’, fatigued, anxiety) If you’re stressed.. your guts stressed because your gut IS your 2nd brain & that’s all nervous system related! 🧠 lowering my stress levels, eating foods that intuitively work with my body and my digestion, food journaling as well as implementing some of my tips and tricks that aid in good gut health have helped me tremendously & I’m happy to say my tummy is feeling better than ever! if you’re someone who struggles with digestion / gut issues I would love to know WHAT that issue is... as I might be working on a little project that could help 👀 comment below & let’s get that gut health on point..! a happy #gut is a happy body! #guthealth #onpoint #letsgo
