Yesterdays free patreon post was raw, real and in true Danielle fashion, a bit manic… I’ve been working on something calmer for everyone today. We spent much of the day yesterday mulling over and editing this footage that I took of myself on middles beach here in Puerto Rico. I was crawling with anxiety and just needed to get the wiggles out. Creativity keeps me alive. It calms my soul. What are you up to while you’re at home? What is keeping you calm? How are you passing the days, weeks creatively? Full video up for free as my calming gift to you. You’ve got this. Yes, things are very uncertain right now but your job right now is to spend time with loved ones or rest. If your mind won’t allow that then pick up a hobby or work on a net based side hustle. It is time to adapt, not panic. Do you have enough meds to last you 3 months? If not call your doctor today. Stock up on food but don’t act entitled and buy all the food. Think of the elderly and disabled in your community. Make sure they have enough. Check in on them by phone every day. If each young person in the community chooses to check on an elderly person everyone will be ok. Now is the time to think outside ourselves and hold community close in our hearts since there is so much physical distance socially. When I was a kid my mom would take my sisters and myself to the nursing home to read to the folks there. I had the best conversations and learned so much about life, history and our country. Sometimes I even learned about other countries... that was pretty cool! So kids, if you want to keep your mind busy call your grandparents each day and check on them but also read something inspiring and adventurous to them. I’ll bet they can match that story with one of their own. They’ve had lots of adventures! If we can’t pick antiques right now, let’s pick some great stories about our history during THIS epic time in history. If this time gives you anxiety just journal your feelings and make time to exercise. Stay away from social media, news and alcohol if it triggers your depression. Hold yourself accountable and make healthy choices and if you don’t... please allow those around you freedom from your choices. We’re all gonna be in close quarters so be mindful of your loved ones and make room for eachothers emotions. Take care of eachother ❤️ photo by my sister @mollytov1 photo from yesterday. We are under house quarantine today
I know there's a lot going on in the world right now but fortunately we did get to the visit the beach today in Puerto Rico. And now that we are officially, under curfew/quarantine for the next two weeks, not allowed to leave our homes. I will have lots of time to make content from home for Patreon. Link in my bio. Be safe and be kind. Hope to see you there
