current update on my journey:
-Still working out about 4-5 days a week👍🏻
-Trying to drink at least a gallon of water a day, but sometimes I only make it halfway if I’m busy😬
-Still trying to eat something every 3ish hours but it’s hard to accomplish when I sleep in and start my day late!
I’m going to start prioritizing sleep so the rest of my schedule will fall into place and hopefully I can achieve my goals and put on some more weight! (Still roughly 125 lbs🤏🏻)
In 2020 we’re not only making physical gains, but emotional and mental ones as well.
💜Not base your confidence on your looks.
(Not everyone looks good all the time, this means you should love yourself even when you’re having a bad hair day, you’re feeling bloated, or breaking out, because if you base your value and confidence on your looks, what happens when you get old? You’re more than a body and face)
💜Be content where you are.
(Don’t convince yourself you’ll finally be happy if or when something happens, this was hard for me to learn and I’m still practicing what I preach, but I’m learning to love myself every day wherever I stand. I’ve come to a point where I’m happy with how I look and I don’t feel pressured to change in order to feel good)
💜Don’t compare yourself to others.
(Comparison is the thief of joy, if you compare yourself to anyone you will always fall short in some way. Recognize that you are unique and no one else in the world is exactly like you, flaws and all)
💜Love yourself like you’d love your significant other.
(When it comes to your s/o you don’t chose to love them conditionally or stop loving them when they mess up or don’t look their best, so why do it to yourself? Be forgiving to yourself and don’t be so critical)
when you get ready for the gym, walk all the way there, and the gym is so packed you hardly get your work done🙃
Days like this happen but it’s okay, never stop grinding💪🏼
