Concern over COVID-19 continues and worship services of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints were suspended worldwide today.
Elder Dale G. Renlund said, "The simplest protection from spiritual viruses in our lives comes from plenty of time with the Living Water, our savior Jesus Christ, and from the soap of repentance. May I invite you, each time you wash your hands in the coming days and weeks, to consider what the Savior has done for you and how you can be better."
I went to the store today to find the shelves empty. These days are a little scary, but I'm comforted by this message from Thomas S. Monson:
"Though the storm clouds may gather, though the rains may pour down upon us, our knowledge of the gospel and our love of our Heavenly Father and of our Savior will comfort and sustain us and bring joy to our hearts...fear not. Be of good cheer. The future is as bright as your faith.”
"We shouldn’t wait to be happy until we reach some future point, only to discover that happiness was already available—all the time! Life is not meant to be appreciated only in retrospect. “This is the day which the Lord hath made … ,” the Psalmist wrote. “Rejoice and be glad in it.”"
-Elder Dieter F. Uchtdorf
(I'm missing because I was visiting another congregation for my church calling, and Oliver was driving our car around parking lot👍)
"I know that God hears our prayers. I know that as an all-knowing, loving Father, He answers our prayers perfectly, according to His infinite wisdom, and in ways that will be to our ultimate benefit and blessing."
-Brook P. Hales
