A call to prayer: please join us in praying for God’s peace over God’s people. As early as it is, people have been laid off, are concerned about school, events they had planned and what will happen. So, please pray that we can experience the peace of God which transcends all understanding and allow it to guard our hearts and our minds in Christ Jesus.

Fun fact: we've been working behind the scenes for months now on being able to Livestream our Sunday services. Did we know a pandemic was going to force our hand and do it sooner? Nope. But God wasn't surprised!⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ .⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ So Sunday we aired our very first Livestream and it was so good, y'all. These two brought it (no surprise) and you joined us from around the country. If you missed it, it's now live on our website @ thechapelbr.com/live, as will the upcoming Sunday sermons for the next few weeks as we navigate life together.

If you’re not currently giving online, this is a great time to make the switch. You may not know this, but in the rare event that we’ve closed our weekend gatherings, it’s difficult to recover from just one missed Sunday for the rest of the year. . When you continue to give, your gifts allow us to maintain critical ministries that many depend on. You can give online at any time at thechapelbr.com/give or by texting GIVE to 225-372-7277.

Due to the spread of coronavirus in our nation and state, we have been continuously working this week with local, state, and federal officials to be good stewards of both our resources and the most current knowledge we can obtain. . Due to the call to limit exposure through large gatherings over 250 and our desire to be proactively for our community in every way, we’ve made the (new!) decision to temporarily suspend all large in-person gatherings at both locations. . BUT we’ll be streaming worship & teaching this Sunday! You can find more updates on how we’re responding to coronavirus @ thechapelbr.com/coronavirus

Yesterday we had the joy of celebrating parent/child dedication as a church family. As parents walk through parenthood and the journey of making disciples of their children, we at the Chapel are committed to coming alongside you.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ .⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ "Children are a heritage from the Lord, offspring a reward from him. Like arrows in the hands of a warrior are children born in one’s youth. Blessed is the man whose quiver is full of them. They will not be put to shame when they contend with their opponents in court." - Psalm 127:3-5
