Current status: I developed a sore throat a couple of days ago but it doesn't seem to have progressed further than just being annoying, I have no cough and only have my typical standard fatigue like normal so I'm living as normal as I usually do. One bonus for me during these times is that my daily life is pretty much self-isolation and quarantine anyway x'D I'm still working out but I'm also listening to my body. I'm taking care but will go full restmode if further symptoms develop.

My knee is still giving me grief but I'm still hitting leg days as hard as I can. If and when I start squatting and increasing my cardio intensity again I'll be making sure I don't make the same mistakes that put me in this situation. No more lifting weights or pressuring my joints while cold that's a promise.

When I'm stressed I do boring chores such as hoovering, putting clothes away, tidying up etc as it gives me something else to focus on while giving myself a sense of minor accomplishment with the added bonus of something needing to be done getting done. Today I decided to finish up some meal prep and now have a freezer draw full of breakfasts ready for when my competition prep starts. I bought all these ingredients between two weeks and several months ago so I managed to avoid the current crisis but that brings me to an important message: DO NOT PANIC BUY AND STOCKPILE!!! If you get sick you will need to self-quarentine for two weeks, not six months, not several weeks, only fourteen days. Get yourself a fortnight's worth of supplies and then put it aside and return to normal otherwise you put the most vulnerable at risk as they can't get the basic necessities and then need to venture out more often just to try and get the groceries and supplies they'll need to get through a typical week. Wash your hands, don't lick strangers and remain calm.

Day 2 of the great toilet paper shortage: society has crumbled and the last remnants of bathroom consumables have almost run dry. Humanity is all but a memory as the monsters we've now become fight over the last few sheets that remain... All jokes aside the spread of viruses is no laughing matter. Wash your hands regularly and if you have any cold-like symptoms do the right thing and self-quarentine, it may seem like an overreaction but it's better to be safe than sorry
