#TBT to just 6 weeks ago when the world felt like an entirely different place 😂🗼🥀 ⁣ ⁣ Life has funny ways of reminding us that we must never take our blessings for granted, and to always be grateful for what we have 💯⁣ ⁣ Even in (and especially in) hard times. Gratitude is magic. Practice it every day ✨ ⁣ ⁣ This is the morning ritual I have found helps keep my sanity and bring me into alignment with inviting more good into life: ⁣ ⁣ ✅ Stream of consciousness journaling/“brain dump”⁣ ✅ Gratitude List (big things, small things, anything)⁣ ✅ Affirmations ⁣ ✅ Envisioning amazing things happening for me in upcoming days/weeks/events ⁣ ⁣ Taking time to put pen to paper on all of these things daily has been such a transformative and anchoring practice for me. Bottoms up??🥂 It’s no time to celebrate... but crazy times like these can definitely make me feel like I could use a drink🍸🥴⁣ ⁣ (and judging by the beer & alcohol section at the grocery store being massively picked over, I don’t think I’m the only one who feels this way) 🤔 ⁣ ⁣ Being locked up in your house is enough to make anyone want to take the edge of. ⁣ ⁣ But how can we do this wisely? 🧐 ⁣ ⁣ The last thing you need, on top of the rest, is to have your alcohol consumption spill over to make other areas of your life more dismal than they already feel 💯 ⁣ ⁣ Here are a couple pointers to help prevent your drinking from derailing you from your fitness/wellness journey, avoid dehydration and mood swings:⁣ ⁣ ✅Hydrate Before, between and after drinks 💦 ⁣ ✅Opt for high fat/low carb/non fried snacks during and after like nuts, instead of pizza/tacos 🌮 ⁣ ✅Opt for a clear/silver liquor like vodka, blanco tequila or gin instead of high sugar/high carb whiskey, beer or wine 🍷 ⁣ ✅Opt for low calorie/low sugar mixers like soda water + splash of juice instead of sugary mixers or large quantities of juice or sodas 🥤 ⁣ ✅Try to keep it to 2-3 drinks MAX 🙅🏻‍♀️⁣ ✅Rehydrate with a clean electrolyte complex/water afterwards 💦 ⁣ ⁣ Love yourself,⁣ Love your neighbors,⁣ And be safe guys! ⁣ ⁣ 👙 @kl_swimwear
